Lightroom :: Unable To Export Photos To HDD With LR4
May 22, 2012Since upgrading to LR4, I've been unable to export photos to disk. No error is shown, but the UI shows the "exporting" dialog in the upper left of the window, but has zero progress. Here are some details:
Observations: CPU not pegging, RAM isn't getting eaten up. I can right click on any image and ask to be shown the pic in the Finder (I'm on a Mac) and it takes me to the photo. This catalog has been upgraded from every previous version of Lightroom.
Troubleshooting:
I've dumped my LR preferences (at ~/library/preferences/.com.adobe...)
I've upgraded to 4.1 RC2.
I've done the "test integrity of the catalog" check and didn't have any errors.
This repros with ANY photo in my catalog.
When I perform the export command, the folder I direct Lightroom to does get created by LR, but no photos ever show up there. I've also tried directing the export to an already created folder, and still there is no export.
Environment: Mac OS X (10.7.3 I believe)LR 4 (now at 4.1 RC2).

Mar 27, 2013I originally installed trial version of Elements 11 and then purchased and installed full version. I have been working in Organizer/Elements and am unable to email photos. When I try to email, the email Adobe services comes up and when I enter my email address, it does not send a confirmation email to my email, what Adobe sends is a product advertisement that states your trial version has expired. It looks like it thinks I dont have the full version, but when I check products in MyAdobe, it shows both Elements 11/Premeire Elements as registered. Jan 4, 2013i cannot upload photos from Elements Organiser to facebook .. the upload gets as far as 1% and sometimes 12% but stops .. message pops up saying " There was a problem with your internet connection .Please check that the firewall is not blocking Elements Organiser from accessing the internet and that you have a internet connection
1 - Firewall is not blocking EO as i turned of my firewall but still get same message.
2- Have internet access as how come i am typing this on the Adobe site.

Oct 12, 2012I have Lightroom 4 and CS5. I'm trying to take my photos from lightroom into photoshop to edit them further. I've done this hundreds of times in the past and all of the sudden it's not working. When I select the photos I want to edit in photoshop, I click command E to edit them further in photoshop. Lightroom gives me a progress bar in the top left corner that reads, "Preparing files for edit," but nothing happens after that. The photos never get sent to photoshop and lightroom just kind of sits there. It doesn't freeze up or anything, but it doesn't send the photos to photoshop. I've tried uninstalling Lightroom and re-installing, but that didn't do anything.

When I opened it to use I am unable to find under "Organize" the "File", "Edit", "Find", "View", "Window" and "Help" on the upper bar/area. I uninstalled and reinstalled the program but still do not see those options. I'm just begining to learn about PSE 9, so am new to all this.

The file is actually exported, sometimes to the folder specified and sometimes to a new untitled folder in the specified folder.This started after I tried unsuccessfully to activate the Facebook Publish service plug-in. I disabled the plug-in, restarted both the program and computer, but the problem remains.

But the problem that I´ve encountered is that when I edit my photos in my lightroom and then export them, and then import them again with everyone´s pictures in the same lightroom, mine don´t mix, don´t syncronize with the times and dates of the other pictures and also, my red tags and stars don´t appear. And this is making us waste so much time, because the moments of a wedding for example, dont match and we have to order them manually...
