Photoshop Elements :: Unable To Share Photos Using Outlook
Jun 22, 2013
I am running Photoshop Elements 5.0 on Windows 7. I receive an error message when trying to share photos using Outlook 2010. I have selected Outlook as the Client E-mail in Preferences / Sharing. I have ensured that Outlook is the defaul e-mail in Windows Internet Control Panel. This feature used to work for me before I had to re-install Elements because my computer crashed.
I am not able to share photos by attachment to e-mail with Elements 11. After I select the photos, etc. it goes through with "preparing photos" and that is it. It just goes back to the calendar screen shot.
Am running PSE10, fully patched and updated, on Win 7. My default email client on the machine is Outlook, not sure if it's 2010 or 2013 (Microsoft has made it remarkably difficult to find out this simple fact - About apparently no longer works that way...) but I think it's 2013. Outlook works fine for all normal uses. I believe Outlook was installed after PSE10.
I recently had my first opportunity to use the Sharing options, and discovered the program simply crashes when I attempt to do a Photo Mail - which I've done often in the past with other versions of PSE but not so much with 10.
In the PSE10 preferences, I've discovered the only option for Email clients appears to be Adobe Email Service - Outlook is not listed. There is no "refresh list" option.
[URL], which seems to provide a solution involving a registry hack, if one wants to use Windows Live Mail. Apparently Win 7 does not store a default email client where PSE10 is expecting to find it. I have no problem with registry changes, however I don't want Windows Live Mail. I have Outlook, I'd like to use Outlook.
I would think there would be some similar registry hack for Outlook, however I have not been able to find it. I could probably work it out by looking at the keys entered in this hack and trial and error, but would prefer to just know what works and do that...
The machine I use has other logins, will I need to apply that fix to these additional logins separately as well?
I need to share photographs in an online photography class I am taking by setting up an album and giving the class access to look at them with an URL link. Can I do this using Photoshop Elements?
I am trying to use the Share function from Elements Organizer to share photos with my Flickr account. However, I get an error message each time I try: "Online Services encountered an error. The service will now be terminated or paused if possible. (Error 6: mResponse.IsValis())
I've seen other posts noting the error when trying to share with Flickr, Facebook, Samgmug, etc. but have not seen a good explanation of how to resolve. I'm running Elements Organizer 12.0 on a Mac with OS X 10.8.5.
When I use the share button and try to enter new contacts the program will not save them. So each time I go in and want to send an e-mail I have to go look up the e-mail address and re-enter each time.
I want to share photos on Facebook via Photoshop elements 11. I have gone through the steps to do this but it keeps logging into my husband's FB account and sharing there. How can I change the account to my FB account?
I have PE 9 and could Share photos directly from the Edit page.I am correct that I must now go to the Organizer Bin in order to share? So far this is the only change I hate in the program.
I just downloaded the trial version of PE 11. I love the organizer and the editor but can't email my pictures!! It says to go through preferences but EVERY time I try to click preferences it says it's loading but ALWAYS freezes. I have updated all of my Windows and Adobe Updates.
With Photoshop 11, when I Share a photo through Email attachment I am unable to add any text to the Email. Can this be fixed? If I purchase Photoshop 12 will I eliminate this problem?
I previously used Elements and liked the ability to create a "photo mail." The photos would be embedded (in line) in the email rather than as attached files.
It appears this is not possible with Lightroom. I have version 4.
LR3.5, Windows 7 64bit, Outlook 2010. After selecting several photos in LR3 to be exported as JPEGs to Outlook, the latter shows but one photo as an attachment. Trying to export those same photos again, I'm greeted with the following error, "Problem Exporting Files". The error message further states that the files already exist. I've had to send each photo separately to get around this hurdle.
Have Adobe photoshop elements 8. Have tried every thing that's called for, but can not get my pictures into the Microsoft Outlook. The program still want me to go to Internet control panel to make the change and I've done that.
I originally installed trial version of Elements 11 and then purchased and installed full version. I have been working in Organizer/Elements and am unable to email photos. When I try to email, the email Adobe services comes up and when I enter my email address, it does not send a confirmation email to my email, what Adobe sends is a product advertisement that states your trial version has expired. It looks like it thinks I dont have the full version, but when I check products in MyAdobe, it shows both Elements 11/Premeire Elements as registered. It is installed on acomputer that has Windows 8...I can upload photos to Facebook from Editor without problems..
I use Element 9 on a MacBook Pro. When I try to import my photos, the downloader opens, it asks me where I would to import the files, and then it is frozen. Won't let me click choose, or cancel. I actually have to Force Quit the Downloader.
i cannot upload photos from Elements Organiser to facebook .. the upload gets as far as 1% and sometimes 12% but stops .. message pops up saying " There was a problem with your internet connection .Please check that the firewall is not blocking Elements Organiser from accessing the internet and that you have a internet connection
1 - Firewall is not blocking EO as i turned of my firewall but still get same message. 2- Have internet access as how come i am typing this on the Adobe site.
have also tried - Edit - Preferences- Adobe Partner and refresh but still same message.
I have recently installed Photoshop Elements 11 on a new Windows 7 64 bit PC.
When I try and send an attachment by email (Share - File Attachment) then my Outlook 2010 client is missing from the list of Email Client options. I only see the Adobe service and Windows Live Mail.
Is there a way of getting Elements 11 to recognise that I have Outlook 2010 installed ?
