I previously used Elements and liked the ability to create a "photo mail." The photos would be embedded (in line) in the email rather than as attached files.
It appears this is not possible with Lightroom. I have version 4.
I am using Office 2013 64 bit with Win 8.1, and LR 5.3. When I try to export a photo to Outlook I get a shutdown message and LR 5.3 closes down. What is the solution, if any?
Their seems to be a glitch in lr5 in trying to send a photo to multiple adresses using outlook. When i add multiple adresses in the To area in lr mail box and add the subject and then send it tells me that you have to add the adresses in the adress book before sending.. But the adresses are already their. What i have done is to leave the To area blank and then send the message(photo). Outlook will come up and then you can add the adresses. Also if i just add one adress to the to area in lr mail box and hit send outlook will come up and you can add the rest of the e-mail addresses.
Is it possible to email photos as attachments (jpg), not embededed within email? Mac users report when they receive the email, photo is only embedded, there is no attachment so they cannot download.
Am running PSE10, fully patched and updated, on Win 7. My default email client on the machine is Outlook, not sure if it's 2010 or 2013 (Microsoft has made it remarkably difficult to find out this simple fact - About apparently no longer works that way...) but I think it's 2013. Outlook works fine for all normal uses. I believe Outlook was installed after PSE10.
I recently had my first opportunity to use the Sharing options, and discovered the program simply crashes when I attempt to do a Photo Mail - which I've done often in the past with other versions of PSE but not so much with 10.
In the PSE10 preferences, I've discovered the only option for Email clients appears to be Adobe Email Service - Outlook is not listed. There is no "refresh list" option.
[URL], which seems to provide a solution involving a registry hack, if one wants to use Windows Live Mail. Apparently Win 7 does not store a default email client where PSE10 is expecting to find it. I have no problem with registry changes, however I don't want Windows Live Mail. I have Outlook, I'd like to use Outlook.
I would think there would be some similar registry hack for Outlook, however I have not been able to find it. I could probably work it out by looking at the keys entered in this hack and trial and error, but would prefer to just know what works and do that...
The machine I use has other logins, will I need to apply that fix to these additional logins separately as well?
Have Adobe photoshop elements 8. Have tried every thing that's called for, but can not get my pictures into the Microsoft Outlook. The program still want me to go to Internet control panel to make the change and I've done that.
LR3.5, Windows 7 64bit, Outlook 2010. After selecting several photos in LR3 to be exported as JPEGs to Outlook, the latter shows but one photo as an attachment. Trying to export those same photos again, I'm greeted with the following error, "Problem Exporting Files". The error message further states that the files already exist. I've had to send each photo separately to get around this hurdle.
I have recently installed Photoshop Elements 11 on a new Windows 7 64 bit PC.
When I try and send an attachment by email (Share - File Attachment) then my Outlook 2010 client is missing from the list of Email Client options. I only see the Adobe service and Windows Live Mail.
Is there a way of getting Elements 11 to recognise that I have Outlook 2010 installed ?
Right now, as far as I can tell, the address book is a totally independent list that does not read from your address book, doesn’t automatically remember addresses you send emails to, and has no provision for synching to any other address list.
I am running Photoshop Elements 5.0 on Windows 7. I receive an error message when trying to share photos using Outlook 2010. I have selected Outlook as the Client E-mail in Preferences / Sharing. I have ensured that Outlook is the defaul e-mail in Windows Internet Control Panel. This feature used to work for me before I had to re-install Elements because my computer crashed.
I am a window user, using Ligthroom version 2. I want to send multiple pictures via Outlook.I set up all "Export" parameters, BUT when selecting many pictures, then outlooks takes only one.I looked in the net and find that I have to download a Mapimailer.
I have had a bunch of pictures of my daughters wedding emailed to me but I can't figure out how to import them to either Photoshop 7, or Photoshop album starter 3.2.
I originally installed trial version of Elements 11 and then purchased and installed full version. I have been working in Organizer/Elements and am unable to email photos. When I try to email, the email Adobe services comes up and when I enter my email address, it does not send a confirmation email to my email, what Adobe sends is a product advertisement that states your trial version has expired. It looks like it thinks I dont have the full version, but when I check products in MyAdobe, it shows both Elements 11/Premeire Elements as registered. It is installed on acomputer that has Windows 8...I can upload photos to Facebook from Editor without problems..
I need to send about 40 photos each with a psd extension to a business organisation. Will they be able to access them and print them? The photos each show several railway sleepers and I had to mark each sleeper with a number to identify them in the text of the email.
I am now being asked to verify the e-mail address I am sending out from...it says I am supposed to get a verification code to enter after my email but no e-mail was ever sent to me..when I try to go into edit and preferences all the choices are grayed out?
When I try to e-mail a photo from Elements 10 from my new computer with Windows 8, I get a message that says, "Elements Organizer could not finish creating your email message." What can I do so that I can share photos from Elements 10?
Have been trying to email photos from photoshop elements 9.The program keeps asking me to enter a validation code.
Bought this H.P. laptop 1 yr. ago with Photoshop Elements 9 installed but have never been able to email from Photoshop Elements, the program keeps asking me for a validation code.
I am not able to share photos by attachment to e-mail with Elements 11. After I select the photos, etc. it goes through with "preparing photos" and that is it. It just goes back to the calendar screen shot.
