When I try to e-mail a photo from Elements 10 from my new computer with Windows 8, I get a message that says, "Elements Organizer could not finish creating your email message." What can I do so that I can share photos from Elements 10?

View 9 Replies View Relatedhaving this problem with PSE11 in Windows 8! In sharing preferences, I am only given one option -- Adobe mail. And it won't work. I've used that service before on my work computer running PSE9 and Windows XP. Why don't I get the Windows Mail option? What good is it anyway, sitting there on the start screen and seems to be unavailable otherwise -- I'm usually working from my desktop. I dual boot to Windows XP and have Office 2003 installed there and am able to email photos via Outlook (not express) -- works good. Unfortunately, Office 2003 is not compatible with Win 8 64bit. What do I do now? I saw the tip about downloading and installing Windows Live Mail for Win 7. I thought it was built into Windows 8? Arguablly Windows 8 is a goofy operating system, at least for desktop PCs!

When I select the pictures and click on share to Flickr, none of my pictures appear in the share box to upload. I have tried this multiple ways, with sharing and then selecting the pictures and also by selecting and then sharing to no avail. I currently have a 30 day trial and am not certain if that is the reason why it is not working? I want to make sure that this feature works before I actually buy the program as I am in the process of scanning, editing and uploading 1000s of old photographs for family members. In Elements 11, in area where text can be entered, I cannot get a cursor to type a message. The phrase, Here are photos....., is embedded there and can't even erase. Area is frozen to using a cursor. When I try to email, the email Adobe services comes up and when I enter my email address, it does not send a confirmation email to my email, what Adobe sends is a product advertisement that states your trial version has expired. It looks like it thinks I dont have the full version, but when I check products in MyAdobe, it shows both Elements 11/Premeire Elements as registered. It is installed on acomputer that has Windows 8...I can upload photos to Facebook from Editor without problems..

Is it possible to email photos as attachments (jpg), not embededed within email? Mac users report when they receive the email, photo is only embedded, there is no attachment so they cannot download.
The instructions in Adobe Photo Elements 11 Classroom In a Book are the classic Windows "Drag and Drop" Method. However, when I try to do it, the cursor/icon I am dragging turns into a gray circle with a gray diagonal when it reaches the Media Browser pane in the Organizer and the folder/photo is not imported into the Organizer when I "drop." Do I need to change setting in Windows (Vista, SP2) or Photoshop Elements 11?
