View 2 Replies View RelatedI previously used Elements and liked the ability to create a "photo mail."Â The photos would be embedded (in line) in the email rather than as attached files.Â
Â
It appears this is not possible with Lightroom. I have version 4.
I am using Office 2013 64 bit with Win 8.1, and LR 5.3. When I try to export a photo to Outlook I get a shutdown message and LR 5.3 closes down. What is the solution, if any?

The left panel number is always more than the actual quantity. This is not true of all my folders and sub-folders but is for many.
View 7 Replies View RelatedTheir seems to be a glitch in lr5 in trying to send a photo to multiple adresses using outlook. When i add multiple adresses in the To area in lr mail box and add the subject and then send it tells me that you have to add the adresses in the adress book before sending.. But the adresses are already their. What i have done is to leave the To area blank and then send the message(photo). Outlook will come up and then you can add the adresses. Also if i just add one adress to the to area in lr mail box and hit send outlook will come up and you can add the rest of the e-mail addresses.
View 1 Replies View RelatedLR3.5, Windows 7 64bit, Outlook 2010. After selecting several photos in LR3 to be exported as JPEGs to Outlook, the latter shows but one photo as an attachment. Trying to export those same photos again, I'm greeted with the following error, "Problem Exporting Files". The error message further states that the files already exist. I've had to send each photo separately to get around this hurdle.

View 8 Replies View RelatedI understand the process of splitting faces and applying a Bonded Contact between the split faces when you have a bolted connection with a nut, but what kind of contacts would you use for say a threaded connection? For example, suppose you have a plate that will be bolted to a mold. The plate has clearnace holes for said bolts and so that the bolts are threaded into the mold to be lifted. The plate has a threaded hole for the lifting mechanism (Swivel Hoist Ring). Finally, the desired load is applied to the Swivel Hoist Ring and the bolts are placed in pre-tension. I would like to simulate this via FEA but am getting tripped up in the contacts. Also I am trying to make it as simple and efficient as possible (by eliminating any bolts or other parts that are not needed). I use INV Pro 2014.Â
View 4 Replies View RelatedI am trying to simulate the following:
I have an 8" OD/5.523" ID steel tube. A 5.5" OD/4.957"ID tube is placed inside. The 8" and 5.5" tubes are placed over a 4.9375"OD shaft. So basically you have a hollow shaft attached to a drive shaft, with a filler tube placed between them to fill the gap. Two 1-1/2" UNC bolts are placed in matching1.531" diameter holes in every component (thru bolted) with a nut. Tightening the nut will tend to flatten the pipes, taking up the clearance between then and creating a contact pressure on the drive shaft. I have having trouble getting all of the contacts correct since the components are not in contact at the beginning of the simulation due to the radial clearances.
Two axial bolt loads of 129,000 lbs will be placed on the tubes. I have used a sliding/no separation contact between the bolt and nut. Then I put a fixed constraint on the bottom face of the nut (not in contact with the tube) and put a 129,000 force on the top of each bolt head to simulate the axial load created by the bolt preload. What type of contact should I use between the tubes that have radial clearance?
I have attached the tubes and drive shaft. The 1-1/2" bolts and nuts (both heavy hex) were found in the library.
When I setup my model for the FEA and hit Automatic Contacts, no contacts are detected .... You can see in the image I posted that Automatic Contacts is greyed out (once applied) and no Contacts are in the the Folder. I have ensured that my assembly contraints are valid and that they are indeed mated (face to face) - see image below. The Manual Contacts will work, but that kind of defeats the purpose of having the Automatic one. I have never altered any options or settings within the Simulation. I am using INV 2013 Pro. Most of the pieces in my assembly are 2x2x0.125 HSS (right out of CC).Â
View 6 Replies View RelatedUser guide states: "Customize Brush Tip Shape options like Granularity, Spatter, Hardness, and Distortion controls. With a stylus, alter the spread of sprayed strokes by changing pen pressure."
I see the settings for controlling ganularity, distortion, spatter, etc., and the stylus tilt angle seems to control "distortion".
Â
The cursor "spray" outline seems to change shape as when the stylus hovers over the tablet. But there appears to be less control when stylus contacts tablet.

I used traditional airbrushes for years. There are some interesting emulations here, but a better description
When I use the share button and try to enter new contacts the program will not save them. So each time I go in and want to send an e-mail I have to go look up the e-mail address and re-enter each time.
View 2 Replies View RelatedWhen I try to save contacts in either Elements Organizer 10 or 11 in the Contact Book, it saves nothing. After I click the save button and reopen the contact book, anything I entered is gone.
Â
I've tried entering names as I'm preparing to send e-mail, I've tried doing it through Edit>Contact Book..., and even by adding a New Group to the Contact Book before entering new name, none of which work.Â
I have an email in Outlook 2007 that I can copy the embedded jpg but when I attempt to paste into CS3, the paste function is not available. I also tried clicking File/New and then paste but again...no paste option. I have a second machine with the same Outlook and CS3 and the process works flawlessly. I know this is probably either a Windows or Outlook query.
View 10 Replies View RelatedWe're currently testing Outlook 2010 on a few users here, before we start the big rollout. After some time (can be anywhere from 10 minutes to a few hours), the memory usage of Photoshop will rise rapidly to ~800 MB, according to Task Manager. Outlook will then stop working.
Â
Closing down Outlook will cause the memory usage of Photoshop to go back to normal usage (~40-50 MB).Both Outlook and Photoshop are fully updated. We're running Windows XP SP3, and the user is using a Xeon-based HP Workstation with 4 GB of memory.
Made a slide show with music, tried to e-mail to family and friends but the attactment is 15mb. Is that to large? Sending in adobe reader format pdf.

Apparently Outlook will only read certain CSS tags instead of HTML.

I want to send an image by email using Organiser. However consistently I have found that to import contacts from Live Mail, Organiser does not give as an option and defaults to Outlook. I have gone to Edit, Preferences and made the default program Live Mail but when I go back to sharing, consistently it only gives Outlook as the option. Have gone as far as uninstalling Outlook but even that has not worked. I have rebooted the PC, but nothing works !Â
