In the Library left panel under Folders, the number to the right of my folders does not agree with the actual quantity of photos in that folder. The left panel number is always more than the actual quantity. This is not true of all my folders and sub-folders but is for many.

View 4 Replies View RelatedTheir seems to be a glitch in lr5 in trying to send a photo to multiple adresses using outlook. When i add multiple adresses in the To area in lr mail box and add the subject and then send it tells me that you have to add the adresses in the adress book before sending.. But the adresses are already their. What i have done is to leave the To area blank and then send the message(photo). Outlook will come up and then you can add the adresses. Also if i just add one adress to the to area in lr mail box and hit send outlook will come up and you can add the rest of the e-mail addresses.

View 8 Replies View RelatedOur macs have 2 accounts on each (2 shifts) and we have installed the new Pantone + colours (336) in the swatches as usual.
Open illustrator and the libraries are there. When I switch to the other user account the libraries are missing in Illustrator. I navigate to the presets/swatches folder and they are installed. All permissions on Read write-everyone but still the second user account cannot see the swatches.

Further email attachments does not work. Brings up an email window which i've not seen before and says no email account assigned. Yahoo is my default client.
I used to use element 7 to send photos to my friends, and the program understood that my default server was Windows Mail. I bought a new camera (Nikon D800) which has very large file sizes and Elements 7 could not handle these large files and I was advised by Adobe to buy Elements 11 and this program could handle these large files. The unfortunate thing is that when I tried to send photos to friends, it would not allow me to access my Windows Mail server and only showed Microsoft Outlook or Adobe Mail to choose from. I don't use either of these servers for my e-mails, but now I have this programs that does handle the photos from my new camera and allows me to organize and adjust my photos, but I can't send them to my friends with this program as it does not recognize Windows Mail as my default.

When I try use the Share > Photo Mail I get an error message: "There is no email program associated to perform requsted action. Please install an email program or, if one is already installed, create an association in the Default Programs control panel."

After I hit ok on the windows looking message box, I get a message in PSE: "Elements Organiser could not Finish creating your email Message. Please make sure that Microsoft Outlook is selected as the default email program in the Windows Internet Control Panel, and that all dialog boxes in Outlook are closed. If this is the first time you are using Microsoft Outlook, please run the Outlook applicaiton and complete its set-up process before sending mail through Elements Organizer. Alternatively, you can use the Adobe Email Service via the Elements Organiser Preferences Dialog.

I have checked the default programs, and Outlook 2013 has all associated file type and protocols pointed to it. (an dre-booted PC after resetting defaults)So either:
 - I am mising a fix relating to upgrading Win 7 64-bit with PSE10 to Win 8 64-bit or
 - PSE is looking for a particular protocol in the program defaults like MAILTO (but not this one as this is pointed to outlook) that is missing.
Just loaded PS Elements v11. Have used PSÂ Elements v7-9 previously. When sharing photos using e-mail (comcast.net) as attachments and photo mail, I was able to enter a message to recipient before sending the e-mail. In Elements 11, in area where text can be entered, I cannot get a cursor to type a message. The phrase, Here are photos....., is embedded there and can't even erase. Area is frozen to using a cursor. Sending the e-mail is no problem.

This is great when we are on our home network, but if I want to work on an image in LR while I am away from home I have to remember to make local copies (to my laptop HD) in advance.

I have a static IP and can access the required directories and files through a browser or VPN when I'm away from home. I was wondering if it's possible to give LR the web address of the directory I want to use as my library so that my photos are available to me anywhere so long as I have a web connection?

I've been using the Adobe e-mail service and it sends e-mail just fine having set up the account as required.Â

Each new e-mail appears with the text "Here are the files I want to share with you."

Now I'd like to replace that with some different text. I can delete it and replace it on the first editing page, and it stays there after I click 'Next' to the following 'Customise Layout' section.

Clicking on 'Next' after this page, we have the final e-mail page, and the text has reverted back to 'Here are the files I want to share with you' again......

I can delete it again, but cannot type in any further text anywhere on that screen.

Shame, because the programme generally is superb. Have transformed a number of pics already, and it would be nice to use the e-mail prog that's built in as I'd like to use it, adding text as required. Otherwise, why have all the font and layout choices available if not??
I can't access the "Hue" tab in develop module. I can only access Hue by selecting "All."
