Almost every time when I try export all system creshes.
My computer:
Intel(R) Core(TM)2 Quad CPU Q9650 3,00 GHz
8 GB RAM
ATI Radeon HD 4800
Windows 7 Service Pack 1
instal Lightroom 4.3 (I tried it with 4.1, 4.2, 4.3) on created new user Windows, and nothing. I exported few photos and now again I can't export no photos more. And get still crashing system
I've been using Lightroom 4 for almost a year with no issues. 2 days ago, it suddenly stopped exporting when I was in the middle of editing a session. It will export and entire catalog, but not single photos. When I attempt to export a single file, it will simply stop, and I have to force a shut down. I've tried rebooting my PC, creating a new catalog and resetting the preferences folder. Is there anything I can do?!
View 3 Replies View RelatedI'm having a problem exporting slides to video using the Slideshow tab in Lightroom 3. I have a folder of images that I am trying to export to video. The folder contains 290 or so images. I have successfully exported folders with more and less images before, so I know that the number of images is not the problem.
When I export the folder of images to video, Lightroom will consistently freeze on the last frame and refuse to do any more work or complete the action. There doesn't appear to be any rhyme or reason to this occuring, as I have closed all other programs to free up as much memory as possible, rebooted my machine, and restarted Lightroom. I have used identical settings to export other folders with success. FWIW, this same bug affects LR4 beta.
I'm using a Macbook Pro with a 2.66ghz Intel Core 2 Duo processor and 4GB of RAM.
I have just migrated my LR4 to a brand new system and am still getting this anoying error message on export however the images still seem to export.In case you can't rfead it it reads:

I'm trying to build some export presets with a naming convention to include the current system date, eg: YYYYMMM-Title-Custom Text. This convention is oftened required for photo club, local, national & international photo competitions. The only date function I can find is the 'capture date'. Is there a way to modify the Export Filename Template Editor to include 'current system date' ??

View 4 Replies View RelatedI've been using X6 for over a year without any major problems. I have all updates and hotfixes installed. Last night I saved a project I was working on and this morning when I went to open it it crashed immediately, before the splash screen even appeared. Everything froze including the mouse and keyboard and I had to do a hard shutdown. I booted back up, tried again and the same thing. Tried different .cdr files and opening CDX6 directly. Same complete system-wide crash. The F8 reset option freezes the system too.
I tried reinstalling the last update and as soon as the reinstall began it crashed. I tried uninstalling it. It crashed. Each time freezing the complete system, mouse, keyboard and all, requiring a hard shut down. I scanned for viruses—nothing.
Everything was working fine last night, all I did was boot down the PC for the night and boot it back up in the morning like I've done a million times.
I am encountering with premiere pro and my new MAC...it overheats the MAC PRO and freezes during export...a simple 3 min timeline with no plugins, just using plain 4k RED RAW...it has to be super cold the computer to boot and render and will go through...I just keep getting frustrating more and more with the problems Premiere CC has with the new Mac Pro...
View 7 Replies View RelatedHere at work we are have one computer that has some user defined coordinate systems on it, and we are needing to place these coordinate system files onto another computer so we can project some of our drawing files correctly.
What do we need to do in order to move these files from one computer to the next? What do we need to export?
when i am creating a coordination system in Autocad and after that i want to export it in Revit, there is aways difference between the two reference points, the one from the Autocad file and the Project base point in Revit.
I managed to mach them by moving the autocad file, but i don't think this is the correct way of doing it.
1 How do I determine what coordinate system a drawing I have received has been prepared in?
2 I know how to export drawings to a .shp file but how can I export this drawing to a .shp file and ensure that coordinate system is maintained or otherwise changed for use in Arch GIS?
I have successfully exported the .shp file geometry previously but the cordinates system doesn't seem to match ARCGIS data sets. I am trying to establish is this an Autocad or ArchGis issue I suppose.

Today, in the middle of correcting a large job (500 pictures), it suddenly stopped working. The message is "Lightroom is not responding". Everything is locked up. Eventually, it unlocks, but then, when I try to do anything it locks up again. I have checked my computer for usage issues and other programs are performing normally.

we are running LR 3.6, 64 bit version, on Windows 7 home edition SP1 (x64)
6GB memory, 800GB disk free on C:
In the import dialogue, when you click on a device from which to import, the "busy" indicator comes on and never stops, but no progress is made to returning control to the user so you can make your other selections within the import dialogue. This started happening last week, and I rebooted the computer and it went away. It's back now and is not responding to rebooting.
I have tried uninstalling LR and reinstalling, and I've tried deleting the preferences file, with no luck on either. I don't know what to do next.
I'm using Windows 7 64 bit, LR currently 4.1. LR has been nagging me to update to 4.3. I downloaded it (twice, thinking that maybe the first download was corrupted) and everytime I try to run the installation, it does not load and basicaly everything freezes. No error message whatsover.
View 2 Replies View RelatedLr 3.6 & Vista When trying to import images to Lr 3.6, Lr freezes--it seems to be fighting with the previous screen (of the last set of images) against the screen that shows the images about to be imported, and I can't seem to un-block either screen. The tabs can't be operated, and I can't close the application either. What do I need to do to unfreeze or unblock this problem? This has occurred on both my Laptop and Desktop.

View 1 Replies View RelatedSome time ago Lightroom started freezing, it didn't matter too much what screen was involved. I'd be editing a photo or even doing something outside of lightroom and lightroom would become unresponsive and wouldn't display the current image etc.
It would allow you to close it, however the process would stay open in the task manager. No matter how one tries to close the tree or process, it totally ignores these requests and requires a reboot to resume work. This also happens while using photoshop with lightroom open - the two programs freezing in tandem.
I have tried doing memory checks on the drive with no problem showing, I have run registry cleaning / ccleaner and so on. There is no spyware or viruses operating. The reliability monitor does not show these crashes. I am unaware of anything that was installed or uninstalled or when this specifically started happening.
There have been a few driver power state failure blue screens while using lightroom (although nowhere near as many as the simple freezes). Unable to diagnose the problem with this I uninstalled and reinstalled lightroom. I have tried both 4.4 and the new 5 in the hope that maybe something was fixed. My display drivers I am pretty sure are up to date also.

I just started to have trouble with Lightroom 4 on my MacBook. The program freezes when I try to choose a file on my computer or try to select a folder location. When I try to choose where to export my pics, I have to reboot the program every time.
I have tried shutting down my computer and everything.
I have had Window 7 64 bit operating system put on my computer.Will I get the benefits of additional Ram on Photoshop CS6 Extended?

I recently purchased Lightroom 5.2 only to discover that when I use the spot edit tool that it freezes when i use this tool as a brush. It starts off smooth, but after brushing across my area i want to clone/heal, Lightroom seems to freeze up, and the spot edit tool is unusable. I can lift my pen off the tablet and a few seconds later Lightroom comes back, but the tablet is basically unusable to me. The mouse works perfectly fine.

I use separate catalogs per job. Some as small as a few dozen images. (family stuff) Others, as large as 500-600. (engagement and wedding clients)
I have recently purchased Lightroom v2, but not yet installed it. Before doing so I wanted to check that my PC is capable of running it. 'Minimum' requirement is for a Pentium 4 procesor, which I do not have, though I meet all other requirements. Does any one foresee problem with running Lightroom with this processor. Intel core 2 Duo CPU T5600 @1.83GHz or would I be wasting my time.

I have downloaded the LR4 trial. import from there into LR4 using the 'add' methos, then convert to DNG afterwards. I wanted to keep the same file structure, and have the photo's just 'referenced' by LR4
In Martin Evening's book it states: 'The add option is the one I suggest you use mostly here. With an "add" option you are telling Lightroom to "reference" the files where they are located on the computer.'
When I saw the 'reference' word I thought that LR4 would not 'take over' my folder system. But after importing one folder, I realise that although I can view the folders I haven't yet imported into LR4 with the Nikon View NX software I have been using with Capture NX2, View NX will now not read the one folder that I have imported into LR4.
This suggests to me that LR4 has indeed taken over my file structure - (I would like to keep my existing structure and open files from it in LR4 AND any other program I wish). Also, after I have imported all folders from my hard drive, it might be worth then importing direct from card.
I have just downloaded and installed LR5. I have been using LR4/3/2 and have always successfully imported catalogs in the past. This time LR5 appears to do most of the work as a file almost the same size as the original LR4 catalog is created, but the "catalog upgrade in progress" message just freezes.Should I reinstall LR5?

I need to import (copy) a large amount of RAWs, but LR hangs unperiodically durring import. While trying to kill LR (or reboot) my iMac freezes such, that I need to power off!

When selecting Slideshow tab or impromptu slideshow and or try to print Sys info under help notice appears to say that Lighjtroom has stopped working and will close.When I revert to Lightroom 4 I have no problem with these features.I am using Windows 7 prof on PC and Windows 7 Home edition on Laptop with the same results on both. Remember I cant print Sys Info.
