I just downloaded 2013 Autocad for MAC and I can't manage to see my drawing toolbars and also don't know where to find workspace settings to change my workspace to autocad classic.
View 9 Replies View RelatedHaving problem with a particular file crash/freeze/not respond whenever using the shell feature on Inventor LT 2013? I am operating with Windows 7. I have the AutoCAD Inventor LT 2013 Suite. Just bought the computer two weeks ago and just installed Inventor about two weeks ago also.
In any case, it seems the file of this model is corrupted, as I have never had a problem using the Shell feature before this and shelling other objects even while the corrupted part is open works fine. However, if the "visibilty" of the part in question is checked and i click on the shell button, the program immediately freezes. I am not sure how to work around this and I really do not want to start the entire part modeling over from scratch.

After installing the 2013LT application the Multiline Text Function worked fine, however, now it will not function at all. "Cannot find Shell Program"--is what displays at the Command Line when attempting to create a text box in a file.

Main issue is frequent crashes of the AutoCAD software. Sometimes 10-12 time's in a day. Unfortunately their are no error messages, and I have yet to see any pattern in when and how it crashes.
The problems I can see are the workspace, and process memory of my system. The workspace does not load correctly. The Ribbon shows multiples of the every tab at least twice. All tabs show the commands but not the pictures associated with the commands. CUIload shows correct workspaces.
Second note is that my system runs the same .dwg file's at 2/3 the processing memory than any other identical systems I run AutoCAD on.
Third, through my digging and attempted solutions I found that the AcSignCore_.dll file was missing.
I have: re-installed 3D twice, updated graphics drivers on my system and run open close save hotfix as well as AutoCAD2010 update 2 for 64 bit system.
I'm getting this error "Run-time" error '48' "File not found: *****.arx" calling functions from VBA (Autocad 2011 64b).
note that same code (VBA & ARX) works fine on 32b env.

its working fine but i want to do the same thing in MAC, i am working on an Application in that I am using CS6 SDK to add some functionality in my Adobe Illustrator, but didnt find any method to execute JSX files directoly from VC++/CS6 SDK.
My mac says it has Photoshop install but when i look for it i cant find it, i reinstall but it says its already install i dont know what to do??
View 2 Replies View RelatedI have been trying to get Lightroom to execute a PS droplet after exporting a set of images. The droplet runs a set of actions which performs certain sharpening and NR steps. What I've been noticing is that if the number of images is too high, the droplet execution fails. Apparently, if the number of images is past 40-50, multiple droplet commands are passed to PS simultaneously and causes PS to fail. PS cannot execute actions simultaneously on multiple images at the same time. The error returned is "Could not complete the Play command because the action is already playing".
Here is what I've discovered by experimenting with droplets on the command line without LR initiating them:
There is an inherent limitation in the number of characters that can be pass to a command in the Windows OS. That limitation is right around 2048 characters. For example, if I want to pass 30 images to a droplet for execution, the command would look like:
mydroplet.exe c:/path/image1.jpg c:/path/image2.jpg c:/path/image3.jpg...etc
If the total number of characters in this command is more that 2048, the droplet crashes because you have exceeded the string limit of characters for Windows. If your source directory path is long enough like, C:UsersMynameDocumentsMy PicturesTalent Show 2008, each image can use up 50 or more characters within that command. You exceed the limit with just 40 images. My suspicion is that if you export more than this limit, LR breaks up the export into a series of droplet executions by executing multiple droplet commands. I confirmed this because as I increased the number of images exported out of LR, or placed them deep in the directory hierarchy, I can see more and more droplet commands being executed in Task Manager simultaneously. As soon as I pass 40 images, 2 droplets start running, and PS fails due to the error I previously mentioned.
What I don't know is why LR executes them simultaneously? Why not in series so that they will not "clog" up PS?
I am trying to run a parcel area report generator, and I get the above error message, along with the path xslParcel_Area.xsl and an advisory to reinstall the program.
I think it is pointing to the full path location of C:ProgramDataAutodeskC3D 2012enuDataReportsxsl.
The file (Parcel_Areas.xsl) exists in this location.
NONE of the parcel reports that I tried to execute work - they all return the same grammtically painful error message.

If I try to save a file using "Save for Web and Devices" I get the same message as above but when I accept this message I get another message "The operation could not be completed. The System cannot find the path specified."All other functions of PS appear to work normally.

CS3 Photoshop on Windows XP, I've had this and has been running fine since CS3 was first released. All of a sudden, today, with no updates installed for either software or OS, it's Crashing (not responding) on program start-up, always at same point, when says "find system profiles". I did the ctrl+alt+shift start-up and reset, to no avail. I'm about to start going into all the other clean up options... but was hoping one of the forum gurus would recognize what's happened and point me in the right direction without all the trial-and-error fun.

View 3 Replies View RelatedWhen I try to import a photo, Lightroom5 tells me that my photo is a duplicate. When I search for the duplicate from within lightroom, lightroom can't find it by filename. When I search for the duplicate using a file manager outside of lightroom, the file manager can't find the duplicate either. I don't believe there is a duplicate file that has been imported in Lightroom.

I've currently lost the original files, and need to do a search for them via these 4 digits to see if I have them tucked away in any of my drives. I downloaded a metadata explorer, and it's telling me all the lightroom editing information, and everything else, but somehow does not have the simplest of information — that 4 digit original file name.
Am I grasping at straws or is there likely to be any way to find this information out? I don't work with metadata, so there wouldn't have been any customizations to how Lightroom configures this...
I used Adobe lens profile creator to download a lens profile. I cannot find the file. It is not in the standard folder for lens profiles. Where does lens profile creator downloads the lcp file? It says local disk?

I get a message stating that "Valid workspace file not found at the path specified" I know the fix for this is to hold down F8 while starting up to reset it. The thing is that I set up so many specific things to my work that it takes me hours to get it back to the way I want it (i.e. Default font, color, menu layout etc.).
I can save this default in a separate location, and load it in should I get this error message again, thereby avoiding having to set it all up from scratch.
I'm having difficulty accessing the Customization Section for a particular Partial CUI which I need to return the Ribbon Tab Source using AutoCAD 2012.

Creating a new image I get the above message. I've uninstalled and re-installed and still get the problem.
iMac 27' OS Lion CS4 - I have built a new custom workspace where I have about 10 palettes permanently on the desktop and unlike my older Mac G5 running Tiger, when I open an image file it occupies the whole screen (depending on original size) and is occupying space also under the palettes. I would like for the image to open or if not open then when I keystroke cmd+0 for 'fit screen' so it only occupies the area of the screen that is free.
