View 2 Replies View Relatedis there any way to prevent lightroom 4 to apply auto settings to the image after it is returned from treatment in a plugin? Typically, I would launch SFX or other plugins from LR4 by specifying "submit a copy of the image with LR adjustments". When finished, the result image is returned to LR4 and auto settings are applied to it, as if it was freshly imported. This is very annoying. I have every time to reset all settings manually (exposure, whites, blacks, etc) one by one. Is there a way to treat plugin returns differently from importing images from a disk/card?

View 3 Replies View RelatedI have a macro that automatically creates a Detailed view on a sheet. It works on 2 input's:
- mouse click 1 (set's the target to be detailed)
- mouse click 2 (set's the location where the balloon should be)
The code works fine. But sometimes the user will start another command, or restart the same command, while it is still running. This off course gives all kinds of problems.
Is there a possibility in VBA to prevent the user to start another command while this command is running?Or is this problem a part of the clicking itself?
Here is my (it uses a Class Module called: clsGetPoint, see code below)
Sub AutoDetailedView() On Error GoTo ErrorManagment '(error handling 2013/02/18) 'step 0 Create a transaction. -> for 1 undo command Dim oTransMgr As TransactionManager Set oTransMgr = ThisApplication.TransactionManager Dim oTrans As Transaction Set oTrans = oTransMgr.StartTransaction(ThisApplication.ActiveDocument, "AutoDetailedView") 'step 1 Select a drawingView 'Set a reference to the drawing document. Dim oDrawDoc As DrawingDocument Set oDrawDoc = ThisApplication.ActiveDocument 'Set a reference to the active sheet.

View 2 Replies View RelatedI am editing a Postgis table using the OSGeo FDO Provider for PostgreSQL/PostGIS in AutoCAD Map 3D 2012. As i have noticed that the serial type of the ID field does not give an automatic value to de ID field after inserting a new feature in the layer and after checking in (AutoCAD Map seems not to understand de nextval(sequence_name) function in the DEFAULT property of the ID field(thats how the autonumeric numbers work in PostgreSQL)), i am using a database side trigger which gives the next sequence value to the ID field of the new record. The trigger is launched BEFORE inserting a new record.
The problem is that after executing the trigger, in AutoCAD Map all the fields are still shown as null, and they are not displayed until i manually refresh the layer.
Is there any way to auto-refresh the layer after checking in a new feature?
Is this something easy I can do? Have my Macro Auto Open Upon Start Up?
Okay, so the simple macro i have been working on isnt just for personal use. We will use this macro all day long - but the issue is - my coworkers im sharing the macro with would prefer the macro open when program opens.
Now that i had set the macro's position down - how do i got about having the macro auto open upone start up.
Whenever he starts Photoshop up, all of his auto recovery files open. For example - when he goes to open a psd of a web design, he will get about 25 files opening with the title "JobName recovered".
I had a meander around the forums looking for possible fixes and information about the Auto Recovery feature, but so far have not been able to cure this ailment.
I have previously disabled the Auto Recovery feature as well as deleting the auto recovery files, yet this was only had a band-aid to amuptation effect. The auto recovery files have reappeared and are now opening again upon start up.

View 1 Replies View RelatedYes, I'm probably the only person on the planet that wants this, but I liked how the Auto Tone auto adjusted the Exposure slider (ONLY!) and left all the other sliders at zero in the Lightroom 4 beta.
Is there a way to write a preset that returns that behavior?
I normally crop to ratio 4:3 (8x6) for printing, but just very recently the crop does not stick to it's ratio when reaching the outer borders.(especially if changing orientation from Landscape to portrait). If pulled It just keeps expanding to almost a square ratio before it stops.Obviously the padlock is locked and it is something that never used to happen.
View 37 Replies View RelatedIn Lightroom, when editing the pictures, in the Developing Module, I will adjust the colors and sharpening and then I used the brush to add more sharpening to a face or an object. When going to the Library Module to inspect the pictures the sharpening is not there. Even when I export the pictures the sharpening goes away.
So I went to people who teach lightroom and they were stumped. and showed them when toggling back in Library and Developing modules and they would see a sharpen image in the developing module and then a non-sharpen image in the library and export picture.
I have asked this question here before and everyone was nice to explain to me their theories, but many believe it's my exporting, but it has nothing to do with my exporting, other than that it takes like an hour and plus minutes to export about a 120 pictures, which I know it is not correct, but that does not bother me more so the sharpening.
P.S. Do you think I should just purchase Lightroom 5. I am using Lightroom 4.4, which I got literally last year.
I have a user preset I apply to import and its not very sticky, meaning it will work a few times but others it will not.
View 2 Replies View RelatedI have attempted to upload to Behance using the LR5 Behance plugin with the following settings:
1. Format: JPEG
2. Color Space: sRGB
3. Limit File Size to 4000k (Behance limits to 50 mg)
4. Resize to Fit: 31.0 megapixels (Behance limits is 32 mpx)
5. Resolution: 72
On each attempt to upload, Behance informs me that I have exceeded the megapixels size of 32 mpx
I have attempted the same saving instead to my desktop. When I attempt to upload from the desktop to Behance, I receive the same error message.
I am using a Sony Alpha 99V camera, but it is not detected on Lightroom 5, however, it appears in the compatible cameras list.
View 3 Replies View RelatedWhen I create an export preset and then return later to use it, the folder for saving it to has changed (to whatever I used last. Because I use the presets to re-size images for my 40 odd web sites, this is really inconvenient. Can this behaviour be changed so that the preset remembers the selected folder? And if not could it be considered as an option for the next update?

Or there any way to bypass that ridiculous limitation without changing a program?
Is it possible to use the flash gallery in Lightroom and have a way for the user to right click and save images for themselves? I see that in the simpleviewer there is an option for the user to right click and open the image in a new window so users can save the images from the new window. Is there a way for this in the flash galleries as well?

View 4 Replies View RelatedEvery-time I synchronizing a folder, Lightroom always shows Previous Import for the found images.I think this is very annoying, since I manually have to point to the synchronized folder. When I synchronize a specific folder I expect Lightroom to stay on that specific synchronized folder! There should at least be an option for this in the preferences but I haven't found anything...
I'm currently following a longer Lightroom 5 course on Lynda and this don't occur on the authors mac when synchronizing occurs! Is this a windows-only issue or should I dig deeper into my manual?

View 11 Replies View RelatedI have built many websites for artists over the last 10 years and have mostly used Lightroom Flash based gallery templates as the tool for displaying artworks in portfolios. Everyone has been happy with these flash based templates, they have a look and feel which is preferable to the simple HTML templates. Also their customisation abilities are good to tailor to each artists work and preferences.
Increasingly, these artists are getting complaints and negative feedback that their galleries are not working through Ipads (as Ipads don't support flash). Most want to keep their galleries as they currently look and feel as they are happy with the design, however they want people to able to view their work.
provide a conversion utility or better still, provide their standard historic flash based web templates in a html5 version that will seemlessly work with all forms of browesrs, including ipads and iphones.
We dont want to change to look of the templates, although more dynamic HTML5 templates would also be nice, we just want to keep what we have working with changing technology.
Just upgraded from LR4 to LR5.3.Just got new laptop (Windows 8.1 64-bit OS)TIFF images exported from LR5 are causing (many) warnings when stitching panoramas using Hugin.Hugin works fine (no warnings) with TIFF images exported from LR4 on prior laptop (Win Vista)Hugin warning message: TIFFReadDirectory Warning: unknown field with tag 59932 (0xea1c) encountered.Images are being exported from Nikon D800 NEF RAW filesPanorama stitching still works, but I am getting about 50-100 warning dialog boxes.
Is there a LR5 setting which allows me to prevent LR5 from including tag 59932 in TIFF images?
