Lightroom :: 4.3 - Can't Get Identity Plate To Show
Dec 15, 2012Have just installed Lightroom V4.3.
I cannot get my Identity plate to show.
Have just installed Lightroom V4.3.
I cannot get my Identity plate to show.
I just installed the new version LR 5.4 but I can't change the identity plate. It's not a major problem, but it annoyes me because it's always the first thing I do...
View 4 Replies View RelatedI recently downloaded the 4.3 version of Lightroom. I tried to use the IDENTITY PLATE to watermark a photo and print it out and the function does not appear to be working..I have used the feature many times in previous veresions. I am able to see prior versions of my watermark under the edit tab, but they do not show up on the photo...

View 1 Replies View RelatedWhen doing this for a pdf or slideshow, the text I enter is at 1/2 way point down of the little white box. how to get a new line of text. I hit enter and that just closes the window. So I have to make one long line, and even then it starts to dissapear from view at the bottom of the window.
View 6 Replies View RelatedUsing LR 4.1, I have uploaded a custom logo as my identity plate. When constructing a web gallery in the web module, I am unable to center the logo in the galleries I create - it always aligns left and looks terrible.

I'm a long time LR user (currently LR 4.2), but just recently started producing a series of limited edition prints that include a graphical identity plate centered below the image. As LR insists on having to scale the identity plate, the result is that I can never produce a print where the text appears crisp and sharp. Rather there's always some perceptible softness in the text.
I'm using PhotoShop to produce the graphical identity plate and have produced it in the exact dimensions as it should appear beneath the print. When I bring it into the LR print module, however, it immediately scales it to 100% of the page size so I'm left with no option but to select a scaling % that most closely represents the original size.
Is there a solution to this? I only recently purchased PS CS6 and am thinking I should probably be doing this within that application, but honestly I'm just more comfortable in LR. For this print, I have the page size set to 20" x 30" and the cell size containing the image at 16" x 24". I think I know the correct process to duplicate this within Photoshop, but verify the procedure if LR isn't up to the task.
According to the Help for Lightroom V1.0, I can choose to print my identity plate on each image on the page:
>To have the identity plate appear on every photo in a multiphoto template, select Render On Every Image. The identity plate is centered on each photo and can be moved, scaled, or rotated using the controls in the Overlays panel.
I can move the ID if it is rendered only on one image.
I cannot figure out how to move the ID plate once I have clicked "render on every image." It seems to be fixed in the center of each image.
How can you make a picture board with X times the same picture, to get identity pictures for example , without having to duplicate X times the same picture?

View 5 Replies View RelatedI works as a lighting designerand I just purchased Revit LT in order to meet some 3D-project managment requirements. I find the lighting fixture families to be very useful and simple to work with but I need some way to identify the fixture types used in the project without acctually clicking each fixture when in plan view. In Autocad 2D i create an text attribute which I block together with my 2D-symbol, is there any way to do a similar action in Revit? I tried to group my 3D-symbol with a text, but that dident work out to good when moving and copying the symbols.
I imagine al types of diciplines would need a similar action to keep track of what is drawn?
How to create a parameter field to include the MasterFormat data using 'txt' file similar to Assembly code parameter already built into revit families. I don't want to use the Keynote field for this purpose. I am looking for a ways to create a new parameter under the Identity Data.
View 1 Replies View RelatedI do a lot of cookie cutter type buildings with pretty much the same room names and finishes for each building. Is it possible to predefine the room names with the identity data (to incl. base finish, floor finish, occupancy etc) in my template file and then just select this as I place the rooms?
I have tried creating the room with the identity data but all I can do is select the room. The predefined identity data does not translate to the new room number.
For example:
I create a room called 'Room Test 1' with a base finish, ceiling finish, floor finish and wall finish. I then go to place a room on the drawing. I can select 'Room Test 1' but all it does is add another 'Room Test 1' with a different room number and no identity data.
Is this a Revit Hard Code issue or am I overlooking something? I have created some In-Place Masses (with floor mass for each level) and I have created 2 Project Parameters for for the Mass Schedule. Parameters are Block and Sub Block as Text under Identity Data and in the Mass Category. When the Mass Heading is ticked all mass categories are ticked. So Im thinking, it should not matter what type of Mas schedule I setup. The Parameters should be available in the fields.
The Schedule is created as a Mass Schedule. and the Parameters show up in the field and data is populated as I expect.
I want to create a Mass Floor Schedule and the parameters are not showing up in the fields list. Also I can not Add Parameters from the Schedule dialogue window as those Parameters has already been created. When I select the Mass Floor in a 3D view the Identity Data fields in the Properties window are mostly greyed out. The Project Parameters do not appear as Identity Data fields and the Edit Type is greyed out (not that Edit Type maters but it adds to the thinking process)
I am using the COM SDK.
Most of the objects have a Matrix which is going to store the objects rotations, flips, etc.
Many objects that I see appear to have a translation that takes it to somewhere around 7,000 - 9,000, but it's not constant.
What is this matrix in relation to?
From what point is it translated from?
When I set the matrix to the "identity" matrix, all the items are flipped upside down. Why?
I have a sequence of low quality images that captured by a regular shop camera. I wanna identify license plate of the car in images. I am wondering if it is possible to use the sequences to zoom in the image and identify the license plate? 15 images of the sequence are uploaded, if more are needed, i'll upload more:

I need to make a Duotone with a spot plate. When I try to make a duotone and use a spot plate, the DSC option does not come up. I can only save as Photoshop, eps, large document format, pdf, photoshop 2 and raw. None of these give me the spot plate preview in Indesign.
how to make a duotone with a spot channel and save it in a format that will work with InDesign?
I'm looking to make some diamond plate metal. I've tried on my own with brushed metal as a base, but it just looks rediculas...If you dont know what diamond plate looks like,
It doesn't have to look exactly like that...I'm going to make it look worn with scratches etc...but to make those diamonds look like they actually belong with the metal in the background...
where I can find or a tutorial where I can make a clean diamond plate pattern?
View 1 Replies View RelatedHow I would draw a simple plate transition? It would be 3' - 6 1/4" OD at the top and 10' - 6 7/8" OD at the bottom. It would be 62" tall. I draw this but can't figure out how to make it "flat" like a layout on a piece of plate to cut out and then form / roll into into it's final shape. I looked at one of our past project's drawings and it shows this, but looking at the dimensions on it, I cannot figure out how it was done.

is it possable to add an opening into a plate created in Plant3D?
i.e. i have some equipment that need to pass through the grating of several leveals of a new structure.
I seem to have made what many might consider a rookie mistake. Built a fairly complex structure for an overhead crane system and get to the end to find that I missed two holes. The problem with these two holes is it is ONLY 1 plate (my grounded part), but I have used this same part in one other instance. So if I edit (even from within assembly) and add the two holes to the grounded plate it creates them in the other plate, which I dont want.
Since I have the second plate being used as a refence to locate MANY other parts on this unit, it would be quite difficult to replace it with a new part (same but different file name).
Any way to add said two holes to the grounded plate only and not the other?

If you have a steel plate bent in several directions and with non-perpendicular ends, designed in 3D Auto Cad.
For example, the plate can be curved with a certain radius in the vertical direction and another horizontally. How would you, or what software would you use, to get the plate flattened to the exact measurements of how it should be cut.
