create extended clean plate to fill extensive holes (created by selections)?
Often I'd like to animate STILL IMAGE but I find very difficulties to fill extended holes in background...
I find Content Aware very very useful but when the background is very not homogeneous you can meet a lot of problems... and I don't now if in this new CS6 anthing is better in Content Aware..
Since I'm having so much luck already today, figured I'd post one more question. I have a camera and trackers imported from synth eyes into aciton. I used the paint node to create 1 clean plate and froze it with a mux. Now I need to combine the clean plate in action. Usually I've been trying to line up the clean frame manually to the synth eyes camera in action but it's all eyeball and no precision. Is there a smarter more precise way to align the clean frame?
View 5 Replies View RelatedI have multiple pictures of the same product but had to focus on different parts to get those parts in focus. As you can imagine, this meant other parts were out of focus.
I seem to remember during one of the "CS3 is cool" seminars I attended that something along the lines of what I'm hoping to do is possible.
I would like to merge these images together to form one image with everything in focus. Exposure is the same on each of them.
Is this possible (and if so, how) or am I dreaming?
I'm trying to create a bump map for use in 3D rendering (3ds Max). This is the diffuse map i've created:
Problem is, no matter how much i fuss around with exposure, curves, hight pass filter, this is all i'm getting:
As you can see it is very "jagged" and looks terrible when rendered. I tried to clean it, but despeckle doesn't do it. I need something clean looking, like this one:
What is the proper way of creating this kind of bump map?
How to create a switch plate dynamic block. I can draw the light switch inside block editor no problem. My Objective: To insert a single light switch plate block into a drawing and have the ability to stretch the block to increase the number of switches from 1 to as many as 10 in a gang style. The light switch box would do a basic stretch, but I just can't figure out how to increase the number of switches as the block increases in width.
View 2 Replies View Relatedway to create an outline contour cut for decals? Iv'e been doing this for years and it's been a headache. I have the graphic/text, duplicate it with a thick outline. Say .25". Then Convert Outline To Object. The problem I have is that if it's a complexe graphic or line of text, a number (sometimes a large number) of the nodes are broken and I have to join them. And CD sometimes adds way too many nodes. So I have to spend a long time deleting unnessesary nodes to clean it up.
Iv'e had people suggest to use the Arrange, Shaping, Boundery function. But that doesn't allow me to make the boundery any further away from the art.

View 3 Replies View RelatedI am working on a video piece and I need to mask out a moving figure throughout the entire video, what is the best way to to this? I know that I can import the video frames to layers in CS3 and then create a mask on each frame, but there are thousands of frames - and when I render the video from the animation it is slow to run in quicktime. Even if I were able to edit each frame, it seems like there should be a better way.
View 6 Replies View RelatedCurrently I am running PhotoShop extended CS5, 64bit. in which i have my fovorite plugins (Topaz, Nik and OneOne) running perfectly.
I have upgraded to Adobe Creative Cloud and installed PhotoShop extended CS6 using Adobe Application Manager as recommended. It didn't ask me if I wanted to upgrade or do a new install for PhotoShop. So now I CS6 running with no Plug-ins. I need my plugins! LOL.
I tried pointing to additional plugins in the CS6 preference to the CS5 plugin folder. Upon Launch it gave me a whole slew of error messages saying something cant load or launch C+ runtime error or what not. It does open up, but it only gives access to Nik and Topaz. OnOne doesn't show up under filters or extensions.
So, what are my options?
Just copy the plugins from CS5 to CS6?
I dont't want to reinstall all the plugins to CS6 if I don't have to as I've auto updated them over time to current versions online, so only have installation files for my original purchases.
I'm happy with the NX version, but if I want to upgrade to XT, how do I do it? I looked on the upgrade options for XT and upgrading from NX, is not there.

View 1 Replies View RelatedI done cmyk with spot plate in photoshop saving the file as a DCS 1.0 file type which gives me a file with an eps extension that I can place into InDesign for color seperation purposes. When I check the color seperation, all both cmyk and spot plates show up.
I need to make a Duotone with a spot plate. When I try to make a duotone and use a spot plate, the DSC option does not come up. I can only save as Photoshop, eps, large document format, pdf, photoshop 2 and raw. None of these give me the spot plate preview in Indesign.

It doesn't have to look exactly like that...I'm going to make it look worn with scratches etc...but to make those diamonds look like they actually belong with the metal in the background...

How I would draw a simple plate transition? It would be 3' - 6 1/4" OD at the top and 10' - 6 7/8" OD at the bottom. It would be 62" tall. I draw this but can't figure out how to make it "flat" like a layout on a piece of plate to cut out and then form / roll into into it's final shape. I looked at one of our past project's drawings and it shows this, but looking at the dimensions on it, I cannot figure out how it was done.

View 3 Replies View RelatedI have noticed with PS CS2 that when I make an image with the gradient tool that it leaves horizontal lines on the image.
If I'm working with the gradient tool it does not leave a clean image. There are always some vertical, horizontal, or angulared lines ,,,or even circular lines that I don't want in my images.
When I make the images in CS2 and view them, it's fine. But after I save it and open it up in something else or CS2 later, the lines appear on the image.
How do I make an image so that it does not have the horizontal marks or lines in it.
After using the Filter Extract and Magic Lassoo methods to erase a background of say a model, I usually end up with lots of artefacts.
I then use the backgound erase to remove these. But I find it very time consuming as they do not show up that well on the standard grey checkerboard background.
how to see artefacts easier ?

The part was done in SW, but I am now needing to do it in Inventor.
I have a flat plate, 12" square, that I am needing to bend the 2 corners up, with 10 1/2" between bend lines.
I tried using the "BEND PART", but I can only select one line. What should I use so I can bend all four sides up?

I have a face plate with strokes on it to represent pressure increments.I cannot get the numbers onto the face plate.On the large stroke it starts at 0 and goes to 9 .. How do i add the numbers. Also i used extrusions for the increment strokes with circular patterns and mirror features.Is this how it should be modeled?
