There are no Lightroom plugins in the export dialog left column.
When I click the Plugin manager, LR tells med that the plugins are installed and working, but they do not show up in the export dialog. The actual plugin files are stored in the folder C:Program FilesAdobeAdobe Photoshop Lightroom 4.2, the program folder.
Am using Lightroom 3.6 and the plug in manager says plugins are loaded and running but they don't show up in the Export to menu.

How do I get LR 5.2 to work again with my Facebook account?
I'm doing some HDR. Everything is shot raw (CR2, Canon) and processed in LR5. I sync all settings (WB, Lens Correction, etc.) needed. I export full size jpg (I've tried both exporting jpg and tiff) and everytime I do, the first shot of the series has either 1 extra pixel, or missing 1 pixel either on the long axis, or the short. Doesn't seem to be a rhyme or reason. Since it is 1 pixel off, Neither CS6 or Photomatix will process all the shots. I've checked all the files, and they're all the same dimension when they start out 4176 x 2783. But after processing, the first pic will be 4176 x 2783 and the next 3 or 4 will be 4175 x 2783, or 4176 x 2784, etc...
Windows 7, i7@3.10, x64, 8GB, 2TB hdd.
I just upgraded to 5.2 and now I do not see the export button on the page when I complete the photo editing, I have to use the menu on top to access the export feature. Is there a switch somewhere to allow this to be turned on and off or was it just removed?

View 2 Replies View RelatedI was initially getting an error message when attempting to open Illustrator 6 on my Mac (running 10.6.8). An unknown error has occurred (4294967253). Adobe Illustrator will now quit. I read a post where the user was to select shift+option+command right after booting up. When I did that, a dialog box popped up asking if I'd like to participate in submitting feedback to Adobe and asked for my profession, location, industry, etc. It then attempted to open a new file but gave the following error: The document 'Print.ai' contains elements that are managed by plug-ins that are not currently available. You can delete or expand these elements but you cannot manipulate them in other ways. The missing plug-ins are listed below. Stroke Offset Live Effect (StrokeOffset.aip). I can open an existing file, but no tools are available to edit with and I get additional errors regarding missing plug-ins. My Mac has also been running a bit slow lately as well...not sure if the two issues are connected, but I'm willing to try anything to meet an impending deadline. I have plenty of space remaining on my computer, so that can't be it.

Those I am missing are ones that I had in an external folder that you could set in preferences. The ability to set an Additional Plugin Folder is gone. Can I set an external plugin folder?
I am missing all the default Plug-ins from Photoshop CS6 from the Creative Cloud. I have uninstalled it. Used the Adobe Cleaner Tool. Done this over and over 4x and the Plug-ins are still missing from the new installation. It is like the Cloud is only re-installing the previous bad version. I also check don't migrate and don't save preferences.
View 4 Replies View RelatedI opened a new file...Then I tried to place a jpg and it wouldn't allow me. I started getting some missing plugin errors, tried to relaunch illustrator and I cannot. I get the Missing Required plugins PDF Format.aip error. I also cannot re-install as I don't have back-up disk, I work for a non-profit always on a budget.
The PDF Format.aip is in the packages.
I imported some pictures into LIghtroom 5 with the SAME jpg numbers as a prior import. The first import consisted of pictures from Trip 1 folder on my hard drive, the second import was from Trip 2 folder on hard drive. I see the Trip 1 and Trip 2 folders in LIghtroom 5, but am experiencing problems with emailing and exporting pictures, getting messages such as "Missing file" or "Export does not show up. Were there problems with the import?

View 2 Replies View RelatedI have some duplicate plugins that I no longer use and want to delete (for example, two extra versions of the Smugmug publish plugin after I installed a newer one in a different folder, Nikon tether since I don't have Nikon, etc.). But the while the Add button is active, the Remove button is grayed out. I tried both enabled and disabled, but then I realized that Remove is grayed out for all the plugins.
I also tried opening the plugin to edit it. Then the Remove button is not grayed out, but while clicking it does break the connection, it doesn't remove the plugin.
LR 4.0 on Windows 7.

View 2 Replies View RelatedI have a problem with referencing an appropriate instance of Ps from Lr. I don't know too much how this works with Lr & Mac, or how it happened, but I apparently have several instances of Ps referencing different plugins, and Lr's default references the wrong one.
History: I tried the Topaz Labs plugins but ended up pruchasing and installing Nik's plugins. I followed Topaz instructions for uninstalling the plugins, but they are still showing up in Ps instances I cannot find.
The appropriate instance of Ps in in my Mac's launch tray, which calls up the app located in the folder '/Applications/Adobe/Adobe Photoshop CS5.1'. If I create an additional Lr external editor that points at this app it works properly. However, the default external editor (Ps) opens up another instance of Ps which does not include Nik plugins, but rather Topaz Labs plugins.
Further, if I try to open a image file from Finder ('open with') I get an "application moved" message (update or not). If I choose either 'update' or 'not to update' it opens an instance of Ps that includes both Topaz and Nik plugins. The message is mysterious, but at least I get an instance of Ps with the plugins I want.
Aside from the mystery, how can I get Lr to reference Ps that will include the Nik plugins?? Also feel free to contribute to the mystery.
I am relatively new to Lightroom and I can't seem to locate my OnOne plugins. The interface is a bit different from Photoshop and where I think it should be it isn't.
View 5 Replies View RelatedI am on an iMac meeting all of the LR4 spec requirements and then some. I just installed the release copy of LR4 this morning and have been playing around with it. I just discovered that the "Edit in" feature does not work at all. This worked fine in my previous version of LR 2.6
When I click on "Edit in" Adobe Elements 10 or Topaz Fusion Express (to call up Adjust or B&W Effects) nothing happens. No error message. No popup. Nada. I went back to my prior version of LR and things still work there.
I also tried the "Edit in" Elements option on my Windows 7 PC 64 bit version of LR4 and at least with Elements it seems to work. I have not installed Fusion Express on the PC yet so I don't know if that works or not.
When I right click on an image in Lr3 and select 'edit in', the expanded menu (below where you specify external editors) shows plugins that are no longer installed. How do I remove these items from the list?
View 2 Replies View RelatedAsus motherboard, i7, 930. 24 gig Kingston HyperX ram. Windows 7 Professional 64 bit. 5 SATA hard drives: 3 are WD 7200s; Driive C is a Plextor SSD and Drive G (where LR and Photoshop are installed), is an Intel SSD.
I've had LR 3 and 4 and 4.1, 4.2 and 4.3. I have several hard drives. All the LR programs are installed on my G drive.
This time when I installed the update to 4.4, it did install on the G drive, but instead of creating a folder in Program Files, all the files, including the executables, simply installed in a long long row under Program Files and under the folders for the previous versions of LR. It did indeed install 4.4, but it's a mess and I can't figure out why there was no folder created.
When going into LR my copyright is gone and all the various styles of copyright I'd created in the Watermarks folder are unavailable. I also have 2 Nik Filters and 2 Topaz filters - they too are unavailable from the upgrade to 4.4. I also had a plugin for Zenfolio which is also missing and I can't find any plugin folder. Where is the plugin folder supposed to be?
It has never been clear to me which folders are supposed to reside on the same disk as the main LR program and which folders can be kept on another drive. Perhaps this is part of why I lost so much information.
I do have backups and I've been able to retrieve a lot - but I would like to be able to have the correct folders in the correct directories and drives. For example, when I updated to the new camera raw and dng, it was installed on my drive C, as it usually is. But the LR 4.4 files installed in a big list, although fortunately on the correct drive. And I have to reset all my settings, all my watermarks, my plugins and my filters.
Why did this happen and what can I do to repair it properly both for the best functioning of LR 4.4 and to not have this repeat itself with the next upgrade.
My filename date repeats when I edit the photos in plugins (NIK plugins) from within lightroom. For example, if the file name is 20120402DescansoGardens and I edit in four different plugins, the file names comes back as 20120402-20120402-20120402-20120402-20120402DescansoGardens.

The current Brdige CC redirects the user to a Photoshop option which is far less user friendly (no headers, page nmbers or footers easily created).Wonder why this was changed or deleted. I dearly miss this.Is there an alternative just as easy in CC?
View 1 Replies View RelatedFor years I have exported Draw 4 files to CMX 5.0 to import into Ventura, with no problems.
I have just upgraded to Windows7 and whilst Ventura and Draw work fine in themselves, when I export to CMX and import into Ventura all the text is missing. Old CMX files are fine and even the new ones show the text in the preview thumbnail in Ventura.
I’m working with an external team of artists and they supply meshes to me in .3ds file format. They just upgraded to 3ds Max 2013, and now the materials defined in the .3ds files don’t seem to have textures associated with them. I can see using a binary diff on the file versions that the material names have also been contracted to just their first letters. I have found the material names elsewhere in the file, but not the texture filenames.
Has something changed in the .3ds exporter with Max 2013? The files are coming out significantly smaller, which is good, but without the textures in materials I can’t use them.
I just created a simple poster (8.5 by 11 inches) and imported one small jpeg, and I added some text (each in their own layers). It looks nice in Gimp, but when I export as PDF, it's missing some of the text. I had to keep making the font size smaller before it eventually printed to the PDF.
View 3 Replies View RelatedI have a CMYK AI file with several objects. When I export to 1920x1080 JPG, PNG or PSD...some outlined text is not showing up but it's drop shadow is. Some objects that have transparency gradients are also missing. It is the same if I export to RGB or CMYK. I have to translate the AI first to RGB and then it works but it has never done this to me before. Il CS5.1, Mac OSX 10.7.5
View 6 Replies View RelatedI have a timeline of about 40 minutes long with several audio tracks and sounds, some mp3 from you tube and some recorded on the shooting day. everything sound just fine in premiere, I even exported one part of the timeline as a seperate movie and it was o.k. the problem is when I've import the hole track some of the audio tracks were missing/silent. it happend in 2 different projects.
I'm on windows 7 premiere cc update to latest version...
When I export a PDF from my InDesign doc I am missing letters "fi" and "ff", and some are appearing as a block x, in the eps files I have placed in the InDesign doc. I have tried several fixes such as turning off ligatures in the original eps and the InDesign doc. I also changed the setting in the PDF export window from subset font percent from 100% to 0%. But nothing fixes it and the error is still occurring?
