AutoCAD Inventor :: Missing Export File Types
Jan 2, 2014I have a customer that is trying to export a file out as an STP file. When he brings up the Export or Save As dialog boxes none of the normal model file types are listed. I have had him do a Repair and a Reinstall of INV 2013 which did not fix the problem.

Jul 30, 2011For years I have exported Draw 4 files to CMX 5.0 to import into Ventura, with no problems.
I have just upgraded to Windows7 and whilst Ventura and Draw work fine in themselves, when I export to CMX and import into Ventura all the text is missing. Old CMX files are fine and even the new ones show the text in the preview thumbnail in Ventura.
Lightroom :: JPG Export When File Is Missing?
Mar 17, 2012I'm a new Lightroom user and have just transferred over from Aperture. In Aperture when the original image was offline it was still possible to drag or export the high quality preview jpg out onto the desktop. Is this possible in some way within Lightroom?

Oct 21, 2013I imported some pictures into LIghtroom 5 with the SAME jpg numbers as a prior import. The first import consisted of pictures from Trip 1 folder on my hard drive, the second import was from Trip 2 folder on hard drive. I see the Trip 1 and Trip 2 folders in LIghtroom 5, but am experiencing problems with emailing and exporting pictures, getting messages such as "Missing file" or "Export does not show up. Were there problems with the import?

Sep 11, 2012After finally getting X6 to be stable and usable I have two things I'd like to mention..
First, I've been using a 3rd party file manager called Ztree for years and one of its most wonderful capabilities is to copy paths to the clipboard which alleviates opening/saving frustrations with the typical Windoze Explorer dialogs. Anyway, one of the first problems I noticed with X6 is that Paste no longer works in the Open Drawing dialog, while it worked just fine in X5 and as far as I can remember, all previous versions. I sure would like to get that back.
My second complaint is the File/Export routine and specifically the presets. I do a lot of exporting to PNG and JPG and use multiple presets for fixed size/print resolution image output in both file formats. During the typical export session, I essentially export multiple different drawings all of which are exactly the same size/resolution in CD and in the past (X4 and prior as I recall,) was able to just hit <Enter> when the Export dialog appeared once the preset was set to the one I needed for that session.
In X6 though (and to some degree in X5,) even though the correct preset is listed, CD doesn't appear to recognize it, i.e., the math for the size/dpi conversion doesn't take place which forces me to waste time selecting "Original" or some other preset first, waiting for CD to render the new version, and THEN selecting the conversion preset that was pre-selected when I first opened the export dialog.
CorelDRAW X5 :: Missing File Extensions In Import?
Jun 3, 2013I have X5 and win 7 64bit. When I open the import window the only file extensions I can select are pdf and the alphebet after. I do not show cdr or any extensions from a to p or show all files. If I look in windows explorer everything is ther and I can drag a file to the draw page. I tried repair and then reinstalling x5, still no show. I show the files being associated with the program.

Oct 29, 2012I am trying to import thousands of pictures into Lightroom as I have a mess of pictures do to a long story...But basically I have probably 30,000 pictures in a bunch of folders that I want to import.
One issue I have found is that I don't want to import TIFF, BMP, GIF, or things like PNG. I really only want jpg files or jpeg files unless I stumble across others in another format I haven't found yet.
Can I set something during the import? I have searched the forums and internet, but haven't found anything that mentions this.
How to clean up a mess like this where I have 30,000 pictures but probably only need 10,000 as there are duplicates upon duplicates due to having to move the pictures around in a hurry as I had a mess in my basement during a storm a couple years ago.
CorelDRAW X6 :: Export File As DXF Or DWG
Mar 8, 2013I am trying to export my corel draw x6 file as a dxf or dwg file to import into sketchup. When I do this it drastically alters the lines in my drawing. It did not do this in x4. I know that it changes my curves into a bunch of line segments and I am okay with that. What I have a problem with is that it is changing my straight lines into line segments that are not straight. Any way to successfully import my corel drawing into sketchup?

CorelDRAW X5 :: Font Navigator - Installing Missing Fonts When File Loaded?

CGSX5 on i3 PC, Win 7, 6G RAM.
The version that came with X4 worked in XP, but when I upgraded to Windows 7 it wouldn't install Type 1 fonts, and it wouldn't install any missing fonts when a file loaded. I buy Font Expert, though I never got it to work as well as the old FN.
But my new (trial) version of X5 has a version of the utility (v. 6.0.0, build 108) that seems to work just fine both ways. Thats a wonderful. When did this happen? There's a noticeable difference in the versions, according to xplorer2. X4's version:

I can no longer load X4's version; only v. 6.0.0 comes up, so I can't compare. But FN now works properly in X4, too, so Corel must have done something to address this. Cool.

Mar 5, 2012I have upgraded to X5 from X3 , and now when i Export EPS files, they are MASSIVE, I work in a company that does signs, and car vinyls and other graphics /vector related work, and It is important that i use EPS as file format for out " plotter" but a size of 800 mb and 2,2 GB now when it used to be 10 mb is insane.
I also use POSTSCRIPT 2, as 3, makes the file over 2 GBs.

CorelDRAW X5 :: When Export Logo File To EPS It Doesn't Get Same Size

For example my document is 250 mm x 120 mm with a black background but when I open the EPS version of it in Photoshop the document is 330 mm x 120 mm with a 250 mm black background and the rest is transparent.

I am using CSG X4 (SP2+hotfix) on a Win7 (32Bit) machine. I tried the following to figure out the problem:- varying export settings- using different programs to import (Ghostscript, Acrobat, CorelDraw)- trying complete re-install of CGS X4- changing the computer using the same version of CGS It seems that the eps export interferes with some system settings or installed printer drivers, but I am not able to isolate the problem. I would expect that the export filter is self-contained.
I tried to reproduce the problem with minimal content. The difference between the produced eps files may isolate the problem. A simple cdr-file, the produced eps-files and a snapshot of the used settings are in the zip-file located at URL....I assume that the eps files are built up from different resources but I cannot locate the involved files.

Nov 27, 2013I prepared my drawing for size A0 (841 mm / 1189 mm) but when exporting it in Jpg or Tiff format for printing, it happens something very strange. In the dialogue window it doesn't allow a bigger size than A1 (594 mm / 841 mm). It shows me 74 % for width and height parameters. I try to change it to 100 % but it turns back to 74. Now I cannot print it because I need the bigger size.

Mar 6, 20133ds Max seems to only alow .ies, .cibse and .ltli files as photometric file types - missing out on a huge swath of files - Eulumdat (.ldt) files, a standard used in Europe.
I understand that Autodesk is an American company and .ies is the most common format there, but a good chunk of my work here in the UK uses Eurpoean fixtures and there is a large number of .ldt files floating around.
I have got a conversion programme, I personally use OxyTech's Lightstar 4d, but really it's very irritating to have to manually convert dozens of different .ldt files so I can use them in 3ds Max.
Is there a plug-in/script/something so I can import .ldt easier?
