For years I have exported Draw 4 files to CMX 5.0 to import into Ventura, with no problems.
I have just upgraded to Windows7 and whilst Ventura and Draw work fine in themselves, when I export to CMX and import into Ventura all the text is missing. Old CMX files are fine and even the new ones show the text in the preview thumbnail in Ventura.

It looks nice in Gimp, but when I export as PDF, it's missing some of the text. I had to keep making the font size smaller before it eventually printed to the PDF.
View 3 Replies View RelatedI'm using the "Part Number" parameter inside a block of text in my drawing, but when I export it to AutoCAD DXF 2010 format, the text in the exported file shows up as "<PART NUMBER>", instead of displaying the actual part number.

Coreldraw has a user-selectable option to export text "As text" (with or without font embedding) or "As curves". But if the text has a transparency applied to it, then Coreldraw always exports it as curves regardless.
This is a bug. The SVG spec clearly states that text is painted like any other path and so can have SVG opacity applied to it.
Problem applies to X6 and X5.
My Corel software sometimes exhibits a kind of glitch where a text element won't show up just after I've created it and most of my fonts disappear. If I go to wire frame view I can see that the text is there, it's as though the text is just white, but I can't change the color to anything else. I can change the font, but I have to do it blindly because most of my font list disappears.
View 5 Replies View RelatedI am using MS Windows System 7 and printing onto two networked printers, a Lexmark Pro205 and a HPD7460, It seems that when I have finished setting up a page of texts and inserts for a publication the page looks good on the screen and on the PRINT PREVIEW window of either PRINTER software but some of it does not print. The left side of the two column page prints OK but the right side is blank after the first line. The text that flows from page to page to page seems to be alright and the inserts that are not part of the flow text that has been inserted as wrap around text (surround) prints.The is simple missing. The next page of the same article is doing the same thing.
I originally had this problem in another document on the HP but not the Lexmark. Now I have it on both printers in this document.
I was wondering if there are control characters that the printers are acting upon during the print function. Can one see all the control functions on a page before printing or at will?
I have read all threads about exporting an editable text but couldnt find the solution. Someone said that the PS have to ask you about maintaning layers but PS doesnt ask me something when I open the exported PSD file.
Is it something to do with PS4, should I get PS5? or am I doing something wrong?
I have tried this with artistic text and also with paragraph text. In some webpage it says that SP1 for x5 allows you to do that. I downloaded SP3, but still doesnt work.
When I export to PDF some of my artistic text shifts about 2 cm. Most, if not all of this artistic text was previously imported into corel from PDF. I've tried a combination of settings in the export menu with no luck.
When I print to PDF I don't have this problem.
This is a very unfurtunate bug since I didn't realize this was happening until after our project was printed. Our work is technical and requires everything to be precise so it has caused us a lot of grief....

At one point today, I was exporting an entire 8.5x11 page with a small block of paragraph text in the middle and it came into InDesign at 10x11".

I have a problem exporting a file to TIFF format as the text spacing becomes "corrupted".The text is just a simple text block, pick any font you want (i.e. Arial). I export the file as TIFF format with the following changes of note:
Do not select "Maintain Aspect Ratio".Change the vertical scaling to something like 140% (nothing magical about 140%, just something that stretches it out enough)
That's it. When the text comes out, the letters are all stuck together, either overlapping or touching. This happens with TIFF, PNG or BMP format, but it does not happen when I export GIF or JPG format. Of course, converting the text to curves prior to export also produces the correct result.
Of course, the reverse also happens if I scale vertical to less than 100%, the characters get spaced out farther than they should. I cannot really convert to PNG then to TIFF as I need to maintain the CMYK colorspace on this one. I also do not "pre-scale" the image correctly in CorelDraw first because I actually need to export the image to several different aspect ratios and I would like to maintain only one "master" source image.

View 1 Replies View Related(CORELDRAW X6.3) Today I tried to export a .jpg file (text file) for a banner that was 6ft x 18ft. The export function wouldn't allow the 18ft, but changed it to like 9ft.
Tried in same in X3 and had the same result.
I could export the file as a .pdf and it worked just fine.
The question is, is there a maximum export size?
how to export the text as an editable to photoshop or to photopaint as exactly as in the coreldraw ? It should be editable after exporting them

Output to both Full colour laser and Wide Format printers will miss either text or part of objects. Today printed the text but not the text effects. Initially closed and reopened, rebooted, However this has become a now daily feature so regardless tried reprint from the same screen so next print has everything included.
Very costly and time consuming - print preview shows all correct but output is not the same.
Running Win 7 64bit 8GB Ram
why (sometimes) when I export text or graphics as .eps files to my cutter it cuts the same outline up to four to five times and ends up cutting right through the backing paper. I have been using postcut with various corel editions since 1997 with no problems until recently. It also cuts random lines through lines of text which is such an expensive pain in the ass.
I started to use the production manager in flexi sign to cut my designs and same thing happens, except for the random lines but it will make up to five cuts on some objects. All text and graphics are exported the same. Has something in corel newer versions changed in relation to this?
Will Corel6 (or later) ever be able to export to a web page directly since the HTLM export doesn't work (drops links). The Corel Web program, or what ever its name is, was a joke. Its amazing that Corel work puts its name on a program that you could not open a CorelDraw file.
My current work around is to export to a JPG and then import that into dreamweaver and add the links there, then post. A pain but it works.
Previous versions of Bridge offered the option to quickly and easily create a PDF contact sheet to send to customers to preview or select photos. The current Brdige CC redirects the user to a Photoshop option which is far less user friendly (no headers, page nmbers or footers easily created).Wonder why this was changed or deleted. I dearly miss this.Is there an alternative just as easy in CC?
View 1 Replies View RelatedI’m working with an external team of artists and they supply meshes to me in .3ds file format. They just upgraded to 3ds Max 2013, and now the materials defined in the .3ds files don’t seem to have textures associated with them. I can see using a binary diff on the file versions that the material names have also been contracted to just their first letters. I have found the material names elsewhere in the file, but not the texture filenames.
Has something changed in the .3ds exporter with Max 2013? The files are coming out significantly smaller, which is good, but without the textures in materials I can’t use them.
I have a CMYK AI file with several objects. When I export to 1920x1080 JPG, PNG or PSD...some outlined text is not showing up but it's drop shadow is. Some objects that have transparency gradients are also missing. It is the same if I export to RGB or CMYK. I have to translate the AI first to RGB and then it works but it has never done this to me before. Il CS5.1, Mac OSX 10.7.5

When I click the Plugin manager, LR tells med that the plugins are installed and working, but they do not show up in the export dialog. The actual plugin files are stored in the folder C:Program FilesAdobeAdobe Photoshop Lightroom 4.2, the program folder.
I'm doing some HDR. Everything is shot raw (CR2, Canon) and processed in LR5. I sync all settings (WB, Lens Correction, etc.) needed. I export full size jpg (I've tried both exporting jpg and tiff) and everytime I do, the first shot of the series has either 1 extra pixel, or missing 1 pixel either on the long axis, or the short. Doesn't seem to be a rhyme or reason. Since it is 1 pixel off, Neither CS6 or Photomatix will process all the shots. I've checked all the files, and they're all the same dimension when they start out 4176 x 2783. But after processing, the first pic will be 4176 x 2783 and the next 3 or 4 will be 4175 x 2783, or 4176 x 2784, etc...
Windows 7, i7@3.10, x64, 8GB, 2TB hdd.
I just upgraded to 5.2 and now I do not see the export button on the page when I complete the photo editing, I have to use the menu on top to access the export feature. Is there a switch somewhere to allow this to be turned on and off or was it just removed?

View 2 Replies View RelatedI have a timeline of about 40 minutes long with several audio tracks and sounds, some mp3 from you tube and some recorded on the shooting day. everything sound just fine in premiere, I even exported one part of the timeline as a seperate movie and it was o.k. the problem is when I've import the hole track some of the audio tracks were missing/silent. it happend in 2 different projects.
I'm on windows 7 premiere cc update to latest version...
When I export a PDF from my InDesign doc I am missing letters "fi" and "ff", and some are appearing as a block x, in the eps files I have placed in the InDesign doc. I have tried several fixes such as turning off ligatures in the original eps and the InDesign doc. I also changed the setting in the PDF export window from subset font percent from 100% to 0%. But nothing fixes it and the error is still occurring?
