View 3 RepliesI'm doing some HDR. Everything is shot raw (CR2, Canon) and processed in LR5. I sync all settings (WB, Lens Correction, etc.) needed. I export full size jpg (I've tried both exporting jpg and tiff) and everytime I do, the first shot of the series has either 1 extra pixel, or missing 1 pixel either on the long axis, or the short. Doesn't seem to be a rhyme or reason. Since it is 1 pixel off, Neither CS6 or Photomatix will process all the shots. I've checked all the files, and they're all the same dimension when they start out 4176 x 2783. But after processing, the first pic will be 4176 x 2783 and the next 3 or 4 will be 4175 x 2783, or 4176 x 2784, etc...

I have designed something in Illustrator at 5x7in i want to export this as a PNG to keep its transpareny and its going to be used on a website, however exporting this as it is at 72ppi just isnt clear enough. Is it possible to export this as a PNG at 300ppi but keep the original pixel density?
View 1 Replies View RelatedArtwork is done at 5x7in, i want to export this as a PNG for print purposes however the more i increase the ppi the bigger the pixel size. I want to export it at a high resolution but keep the pixel size to 500x700.
Is this possible?
Currently to achieve the 500x700 pixel size i change the ppi to 104, if i switch off anti alias then its fine for straight lines and shapes, however if i have a line or shape at an angle it gives these shapes a jagged edge!
I have a CMYK AI file with several objects. When I export to 1920x1080 JPG, PNG or PSD...some outlined text is not showing up but it's drop shadow is. Some objects that have transparency gradients are also missing. It is the same if I export to RGB or CMYK. I have to translate the AI first to RGB and then it works but it has never done this to me before. Il CS5.1, Mac OSX 10.7.5

As the title says I am running a AI -> JPG export through the batch action process and my files are saved without an extension. ie. "file" not "ai", "jpg", "png" etc.
However, yes adding the extension manually or through third party software results in a perfect jpg as I required but that step should not be needed. What am I missing?
Oh, and yes I have tried to change the destination folder to something completely empty to avoid duplicate issues but I still get the same result. If I run the simple "Export" portion of my action the file is exported with a file extension without issue, only it fails that step when running the batch process.
(Also i've used photoshop batch process for years so I do have some knowledge that i'm doing this correctly but this is my first attempt with Illustrator.)
Need to export to excel, just text entities from old drawing. Or convert to table, then export. As long as i can get the text to excel.

I'm currently working on a project that requires modelling in revit but exporting the final drawings in Autocad format. As a requirement from my client, I am demanded to export the entire paper space into the model space as Autocad entities.
When I export the drawing, the composition that I model in Revit is shown in the paper space, Is there a way to automatically export this composition into the model space?
I don't know if this has been reported but I found out today when working on a web design (hence working in the new unit - pixels) that you can't actually use the Dimension tools for measuring pixels. That's a pity because often you need to work with exact pixel dimensions when making websites and here the Dimension tools could come in very handy. It seems counting pixels by hand is a bit old-fashioned. Of course you can use calculations, but still...

I am getting black pixals that show up around my photo when I export to PDF High Quality Print and print. Some of my other photos have the pixals show up when I open them up in preview but they are white. How are you able to get rid of these?
Here is the image. If you click on it you will see the white pixals.

View 2 Replies View Related We are developing an application using functionality of Gimp´s channel mixer with java.
Our problem is that we don’t Know how channel mix works exactly for transforming pixel by pixel in Java.
For example,
We have an image an do on it the next mix:
Output Channel = Red
Red=200.0
Green=0.0
Blue=0.0
For simulate that, we transform all pixels with Red Component *2 and 255 (maximum) if is greater.
Our problem is:
Output Channel = Red
Red=200.0
Green=60.0
Blue=0.0
How can I simulate that?
Previous versions of Bridge offered the option to quickly and easily create a PDF contact sheet to send to customers to preview or select photos. The current Brdige CC redirects the user to a Photoshop option which is far less user friendly (no headers, page nmbers or footers easily created).Wonder why this was changed or deleted. I dearly miss this.Is there an alternative just as easy in CC?
View 1 Replies View RelatedFor years I have exported Draw 4 files to CMX 5.0 to import into Ventura, with no problems.
I have just upgraded to Windows7 and whilst Ventura and Draw work fine in themselves, when I export to CMX and import into Ventura all the text is missing. Old CMX files are fine and even the new ones show the text in the preview thumbnail in Ventura.
I’m working with an external team of artists and they supply meshes to me in .3ds file format. They just upgraded to 3ds Max 2013, and now the materials defined in the .3ds files don’t seem to have textures associated with them. I can see using a binary diff on the file versions that the material names have also been contracted to just their first letters. I have found the material names elsewhere in the file, but not the texture filenames.
Has something changed in the .3ds exporter with Max 2013? The files are coming out significantly smaller, which is good, but without the textures in materials I can’t use them.
I just created a simple poster (8.5 by 11 inches) and imported one small jpeg, and I added some text (each in their own layers). It looks nice in Gimp, but when I export as PDF, it's missing some of the text. I had to keep making the font size smaller before it eventually printed to the PDF.

When I click the Plugin manager, LR tells med that the plugins are installed and working, but they do not show up in the export dialog. The actual plugin files are stored in the folder C:Program FilesAdobeAdobe Photoshop Lightroom 4.2, the program folder.
I just upgraded to 5.2 and now I do not see the export button on the page when I complete the photo editing, I have to use the menu on top to access the export feature. Is there a switch somewhere to allow this to be turned on and off or was it just removed?

When I export a PDF from my InDesign doc I am missing letters "fi" and "ff", and some are appearing as a block x, in the eps files I have placed in the InDesign doc. I have tried several fixes such as turning off ligatures in the original eps and the InDesign doc. I also changed the setting in the PDF export window from subset font percent from 100% to 0%. In Edit > Preferences > Guides & Grid I have the Show Pixel Grid option checked but when zoomed in over 600% the pixel grid does not appear. Am I missing something?
Align To Pixel Grid a bit more thoroughly. I understand how to use it - to turn it on & off, but I'm a bit confused about the "why & when" of using it. F.I. I'm creating a picturebook with text. So when I export / or save for web, I'll be turning the vector art and text as an image. My understanding is that using ATPG will eliminate the jagginess of the text that would occur, when it becomes an image, if I did not use ATPG.And conversely, if I don't use ATPG, the text will be jaggy when exported to jpg or png. Is this correct?

The standard unit conversion calculator (from Google) says that the 668 pixel = 17.7 cm. But this values are varying in the Adobe Illustration, i.e., 668 pixel = 23.56 cm.
