Photoshop :: Black Pixel Around Photo When Export To PDF High Quality Print
Sep 20, 2012
I am getting black pixals that show up around my photo when I export to PDF High Quality Print and print. Some of my other photos have the pixals show up when I open them up in preview but they are white. How are you able to get rid of these?
Here is the image. If you click on it you will see the white pixals.

how to export my images to a file on my computer in JPEG in a high quality for printing large prints? I have done several to e-mails and facebook. But struggling to figure out how to do it correctly for prints. I would like to submit them to a photo lab, but I am afraid I don't have the correct settings.Â

I am trying to import photos from my computer to Photoshop elements 11. It has imported most but wont import some as "file quality is too high". How do I get around this? Do I have to downgrade the quality of my photos? To do editing wouldn't you want the best quality photos to start off with?

A website has done a feature article on our company and I would LOVE to print out a copy of this page. Using the standard browser print options makes the page a total mess.. I've downloaded the "Awesome Screenshot" plug in for chrome and got a decent print of it but it's still not ultra high quality.

I want to export my created Slide Shows made in Photoshop 7 to My Vidieos File on my computer c drive, but it seems that the only option I have is to send it as a WMV Movie file. However, this way loses to much resolution and as I want it transported at high quality, is there any way I can send it that way, say, as a mpeg formatt?

My photo is great when I open or view it in any other application. Why does it look low quality in pse 11? Also when I make edits and save them as jpegs, they look great again outside of pse11.

Artwork is done at 5x7in, i want to export this as a PNG for print purposes however the more i increase the ppi the bigger the pixel size. I want to export it at a high resolution but keep the pixel size to 500x700.
Â
Is this possible?
Â
Currently to achieve the 500x700 pixel size i change the ppi to 104, if i switch off anti alias then its fine for straight lines and shapes, however if i have a line or shape at an angle it gives these shapes a jagged edge!

is there a way of exporting my AutoCAD drawings in high quality? Maybe Tiff?
The problems I have with exporting is that if export a drawing as a *.wmf the thick lines come out too thick even when using the 0.3 mm thickness. If i use the 0.25 mm thickness the lines are as thin as with the default thickness.
The contour lines of an image I imported into my AutoCAD drawing are coming all blurry when I export into wmf file even when using the 600 dpi resolution (highest available on the menu).
Inside my AutoCAD drawing my image map has a very high quality but when I export it, with AutoCAD polylines on top of it, the drawing comes out horrible.
I painted a blue polyline to represent a river in a contour map. This is for a civil engineering project. When I export the drawing, the polyline comes out too thick and the image behind comes out blurry. This happens even when using the highest definition possible for a wmf export (600 dpi).
I've read in another thread about a way of exporting into tiff. I followed the directions but the thread is not well explained. It doesn't say whether it is necesary to have or buy certain software. And it doesn't say what to do next to export the tiff drawing.
how to export high quality AutoCAD drawings?

I know that Facebook reduces the resolution for Facebook cover page and profile picture. However, I have noticed that there are many Pages that uploaded beautiful Cover photo without any reduced resolution (apparently).
Â
For example: URL....can also check out these pages, they have pretty awesome looking Timeline photos!
Â
I've tried using the "magic" size format of 850 x 350 , but it seems that the quality will still be reduced no matter what. The above pages' photos are always pretty clear and not blur like normal pages.

So I couldn't think of a better place to put this. I have something that I'm thinking of having professionally printed. What are the steps I should take to make sure I produce a high quality image? File format, Dpi and so forth. Make a list of steps to creating a high quality image file that will look good printed from a print shop.

I'm pretty new to photoshop, and I've started on a personal project. I want to basically take a video still from a music video and turn it into a poster. Sadly i can not find a good quality version of the video as it is older and not super famous, (kyuss-one inch man). So i found an online video that is better then youtube but not great, and i captured it through the vista snipping tool (screen capture).
Basically I want to take this low quality picture, and turn it into a good quality poster (not huge). What techniques and things must I do? I'll probably have to find a printer near here and require a specific dpi as well.

My problem is related with the quality of a image.
My question is how to maintain high quality (original quality) of a image after resizing it?
If i resize it with same ratio like:
2816x2112px to 1600x1200px (4:3)
2816x1584px to 1920x1080px (16:9)
Mainly i use scale image option in Gimp. But now i need to resize many images for my work so i tried David's Batch Processor to resize my images. After using it, i found there is some quality promble with the resized image.
Then i tried, the scale option with, use quality setting from original image and JPEG quality parameter is 95, in gimp but the problem is same. I did it with also with David's batch processor- JPEG quality parameter is 95.
Other thing is that, the original image 2816x2112px (4:3), size- 3.6 MB is displaying in image viewer with 47% and the resized image 1600x1200px (4:3). size- 1.2 MB is displaying in image viewer with 83%, So my questions are: How can i check the quality of a image after resizing it, means the image is exactly same as the original? Or Is David's Batch Processor maintain the original quality of the images after resizing?. I realy need to resize many images for my work.

Any way to improve a photo in GIMP so that it can be printed in larger formats? Enlarging seems to be okay, adding a black bg and setting layer mode to overlay also seems to have worked, but as I am aiming at selling my photos, I want to be 100% sure I deliver a good enough product!

I'm using Lightroom 3.6 and an Epson Stylus Photo R800. This printer is capable of printing very high quality pictures, as I know by using it for almost 5 years. I have bought Lightroom about 6 month ago. I have tried anything I can think off to get those fabulus pictures out of my Epson printer. I alterd color managment settings, changed print resolutions, downloaded new printerdriver, ... Nothing works. Print quality when printing from Lightroom is very poor. Bad colors (dark), stripes over the whole image, it looks like nothing realy. One of the things that I noticed is that the maximum resolution for printing in LR is 720 ppi. My Epson is capable of 1550 ppi. I see a lot of discussion going about print quality with lightroom... I think however this is a more basic problem. My print qualiti is realy very very bad...
Â
Note, When I export a picture to .jpg format (I shoot in RAW only), and print this directly from Windows, I do get the perfect picture a was used to... I cannot believe that Lightroom is unable to do the same.

how they are getting this high of quality out of a GIF? I thought GIF was limited to 256 colors? The gradients and shadowing look great for this file type, and it is 125KB.

I'm trying to prepare an advertising piece and I'm trying to print out a mockup from my HP color laser jet. My question is, how can I get the printout to appear as it does on the computer screen, whenever I print it out now the resolution is really low and fuzzy. I want it (it least the text and other computer generated material like boxes, e.g. anything but pictures) to appear very sharp.

expierence with PS, but am having a hard time making an animation sig. file, that is high quality. First is it simpy impossible? Below is an example of what it looks like in .gif form. It looks amazing under the original tab, but when I save it or go to the optomize tab its looks retarded. I'm adding a high-rez cut out of a character from a game I play. The only animation I want the high-rez cut out to do is fade out. When I add the cut-out to the animation, it screws all the other images as well, includeing simple lightnigh bolts drawn in. I'll post two examples, one with out the character in, and one with it in. Pay attention to how even things that were fine before, get messed up. Do I need to make my cut-outs a .gif file before even putting them in, does that matter? I'm using Adobe ImageReady 7.0. My optomized settings are: Gif, Selective, 256Colors, No Dither, everything else off or 0. Do I have to save it optomized, file size isnt a big deal.
Files:
(Added .2 delay so its easier to see , lightningbad.gif is with the cut out/bad quality, lightninggood.gif is without cut out/good quality)

I work in PS CS2, and I would like to know some basic techniques for "cleaning" this jpegs as being extracted from a dvd often look quite fuzzy, so that they look quality enough to print on a larger scale! edit: oh yeah and can someone also redirect to a good tool for capturing stills? I used vlc player so far, but it only gives out png's...probably not the best format.
