How do I package a finished project to a client. She insisted on having three name logotypes with different effects and three monogram logotypes with different effects. The finished name logotypes are on one artboard/file, and the finished monogram logotypes are on another artboard/file.
View 5 RepliesI've built a project up with several smaller project file components. It's an easier way to create a video than editing one big project.
Opening the overall project and running it on screen is not a problem. However, when I try to create a smart package of the composite project, I get a consistent error message rejecting the process because of the existence of the component vsp's.
Is there a way to avoid the error and create a smart package from a project file that has smaller component project files?
Just a few general questions.
1. What is the best way to send a file of a finished project in CorelDraw to your client for printing?
2. Can I send it to him through email? If yes... in what FORMAT so that the file he receives is intact and does not become corrupt.
3. Or is there a BETTER way?
Anyways, a client has requested a logo in a PMS color. I know where the color swatch libraries are, but there is no library named PMS, there are tons of Pantone ones for coated, uncoated, ect.
Is there a search function to the pantone colors? They specified "PMS 192 Red". Says nothing of coated or whatever I just want to know how on earth do I find that actual color?
Is there such a thing as to build a template in Illustrator so that the client can change the text on it? Kind of like a Content Management System on a Website?
If so, what would the client be able to use to edit in? Of course, the client would like little to no expense.

by the way, when i open the downloaded package using Ai, the symbols are there and i am able to open them no problem. but i can't get them to populate in the brushes, symbols library.

Okay, I have a pretty simple scene that I am trying to render. I set the Output to HDTV as a AVI. When I play the finished AVI however it looks horrible, garbled and unrecognizable.
(It works normal when I don't select HDTV, but HDTV is fantastic looking.)

not be able to go on to something else in a project because I have lines trailing behind my cursor, forcing me to use the undo key or to choose a different, less intrusive tool. Small problem I know, but this has kept me stuck for two days. I did find an answer for an older version that involved about 4 or 5 steps, which I found incredulous, since all I have to do is click once to select a tool. Anyway, the instructions didn't match my version (2.8.4) I hope the answer turns out to be simple, and does not involve multiple steps, because I use the tools a LOT.

Depending on how big changes one makes, it takes between 10 sec and 60 sec to update. Considering the complexity this is ok.
But the problem is that it is difficult for the user to tell if the update is complete. I have tried to have the last line in my driving rule to show a messagebox: "Updating done". But the messagebox fires to early, and pauses the remaining updating. Even if I call InventorVb.Rebuild and/or ThisDoc.Document.Rebuild in advance.

what is the best format to use for my finished video project. The video format is currently MP4. I have imported the video to add and edit the audio and video portions of these videos. View 7 Replies View RelatedI have just put together a 20min video and have several times created an mpeg file on the hard drive as I edit different parts, so that I can see how it comes along on a main TV thats networked to my PC. The footage is from two Panasonic HD cameras and is filmed in AVCHD.
The last two copies I have rendered have 4 scenes with noticeable jumps/stutter. They are all taken from and are part of a clip 146, the music track dosent jump, just certain parts of the scene in the video. This jumping is intermittent in about 30 seconds and the rest of the 20min film is fine. No filters or adjustments have been made to these scenes and they were fine up until yesterday. I tried a second render but its the same.
I would like to know what causes it so I can either avoid this happening again or avoid VS altogether as I have put in a lot of time and work into this 20min video and I don't want to have to do it again, I really want something I can rely on. I have had VS from the very earliest version and I have found that these bugs keep cropping up.
UPDATE:I have done further tests and it is ok if I "Create Video file" Same as Project Settings" BUT if I "Create Video file" DVD Video" it stutters/jumps. I have attached the properties of the scene now.
Most of the footage is Panasonic AVCHD and I use Two Pass Encode. Am I using the correct settings for this type of film. I want to film in the highest quality so that I can copy to blue ray and standard DVD.

After creating a solid and made some cutting, notching etc. the finished length is not the same as the initial extruded solid. so to get the length of the final solid ,
1. I would project geometry , and get the extreme end to get the finish length,this reference dim is now shown in parameter,
2. Go to parameter and change this ref dim name to "length" ,
3. Check the export box ,
4. Right click this ref dim to change the custom property format
5. Where i would uncheck the "units string" box
All these steps to extract the length of a single part , so just imagine if my assembly consist of 50 parts, i would do this 50 times! and usually i have almost a hundred assembly to work everytime.
