Illustrator :: Grey Colors Displayed As Brown In Both PS And AI?
Oct 15, 2013I have a new Asus Ultrabook (Windows 8) with Adobe PS and AI installed from creative cloud. Unfortunately colors are displayed wrong in both programs.

Illustrator :: Black And Grey Color Look Like Brown?
Apr 10, 2013I'm using Ai CS6 64bit now on windows 8, and I have a problem with the black and grey colors, because they look like brown variations...In the past I hadn't similar problems, but recently I changed my notebook to an Asus KB56, from Acer.
I attached the 1st picture to show exactly what is the problem, the colors should to be all black, but they are brown...The second picture shows them in paint, which works perfect...

Apr 29, 2012The following happened in LR4, I installed RC2 hoping it may cure it but problem remains:
Photos in whatever module cannot dispaly images after having worked properly for a while in any module no image display but grey rectangles... asking for "display in the explorer" shows in superposition that images are ther...
catalogue seems ok (structure and all, metadata are ok, in the development module memory has been kept of photos adjustment...
Re-opening catalog or optimizing does not have any effect....
Quiting LR is just abrupt with no asking for back-up...
Photoshop :: Colors Are Displayed Differently Than In Other Programs
Mar 16, 2011I'm having a bit of trouble with Photoshop. Colors are displayed differently, than in other programs (Paint, Firefox etc...), which makes it impossible for me to design anything. I tried restoring my settings by holding Ctrl + Alt + Shift on start up and it's still the same. I also tried re-installing Photoshop.

Nov 4, 2006In the picture is a screen capture, where you can see a file which is opened in both Photoshop CS2 and the Windows Image Viewer. The colors appear very different (it's the same file). In any other viewer (web browsers, for example) it appears as it does in the Windows Viewer.

Sep 3, 2013Im having a really bad day working on CC Illustrator, i copied a .ai file and a .eps file from my old computer to continue working on a logo. And everythings works well, without the colors.
I want it BLACK, 000000, but the Illustrator turns it into differnt blacks and brown! Never seen this before.
When I copy my work back on the old computer and open it on CS3 it shows that it is black, but when i copy it on my CC Photoshop it shows up brown?
I tired making a new file, copying things over, making a new project writing randoms things but its all brown, and i tired to change both CMYK and RBG, and ofcourse the color! It worked fine if I wanted blue or red, but not BLACK.
AutoCad :: Change All Of Objects Colors In Xref Drawing To Grey
Dec 29, 2011My goal is to change all of the objects colors in an xref drawing to gray to use as a background to my work. All changes to the xref drawing were made in the drawing itself, none of this was done in the base drawing.
The quickest way I could find was to change set by layer mode to color only and use set by layer to change all of the objects (select all). This seemed to work fine, until I noticed that certain text would move slightly when the color changed. Long story short this text (single line) moves slightly when the color is changed, even if I select one text and change the color in its properties.
My question is why would text move or change in some way when you only change the color. It doesn't seem to happen to mtext, only dtext.
Paint Shop Pro :: Saving As EPS Turns Colors To Black White And Grey?
Sep 14, 2012I am trying to save a red and white and black logo to an eps file to use with a vinyl cutter but when it saves it changes it to a greyscale picture and the red color is removed. I tried resetting to factory settings and that didn't work.

Jun 1, 2013Using CS6 just installed on a Dell running Windows 7. I have placed a few EPS graphics and find that some of the image is not visible. I noted this a few weeks back on prior use on a different computer running a version of MacOS. A third at that time did display these image files completely. I believe that was CS4 but will check on Monday. I will test with other EPS files from other programs.

Jun 12, 2013I produced a colour map and colour gradient legend as a postscript file (.ps) using generic mapping tools software running under linux. When I import this file into illustrator (in windows 8) the colour map is fine, but the colour gradient does not display properly. It appears as a bunch of white spaces and vertical colour bands of random colour. When I then try to export the file as a .pdf the colour gradient appears as solid blue. I've also tried producing a .pdf instead of .ps but it makes no difference.
It's worth noting that I have done this in the past with no problems. This particular problem first occurred a few months ago and is now persistent.

Jan 10, 2013When I write a text in illustrator, there appears a small grey border around the text. When I save it as a pdf or jpg, then it’s gone. So I’m sure it’s not a stroke. It more looks like some kind of path around the text. When I draw another shape (square, circle…) then there is no problem .I’ve reset illustrator (removed the presets) but that didn’t do anything.
