I have a problem since I upgraded to CS6 for MAC. All the rest of the Design Premium software works fine, but adobe Illustrator seems to have a problem when exiting the app. Always hangs and never closes down so I have to use the Force Quit option of the OS. And it happens ALWAYS.

Distributed Bucket Rendering Freezes Max.
The render freezes at 100%. The 3ds max memory in task manager remain the same.
I had checked all options: Place holder, Conserve memory, map manager.
In lighter scenes, it renders normal. But in complex scenes, it always freezes at 100%. I have to close the process in task manager.
I'm working on two computers. And the network is gigabit.
I have an image open and try to use the liquify tool in filters.It opens and then after attempting to use the tool, It freezes completely. Cant even get out of it or close it at all.
View 1 Replies View RelatedI'm having problems opening photoshop CS3 after a clean install. I have deactivated my CS3 product on my old computer, that run on windows XP. With my DVD installed on my new computer that runs on windows 7. After the installation, I tried to open photoshop to activate. When the program stats to open and freezes almost instantly. I have to open the task manager to close the program that appears not responding.
My new computer is a Workstation, S5000XVN Intel motherboard, 24 Gb of Ram, NVidea Quadro 2000.
Anytime I import a piece of Clipart and I go to the Trace bitmap button>outline trace>line art the program freezes immediately. The diagbox doesn't even pop up, nor does it say "not responding" at the top.
I am running Win 8 but it has been running for months without a hitch. I have cleaned out temp files and reinstalled the suite and nothing happened.
I'm using Elements 9 and I've never had any problems with it until today. When I tried to use the Adjust Shadows feature under Adjust Lighting, the program became unresponsive. It wouldn't allow me to do anything at all. I had to exit the program using the Task Manager. I tried two more times to see if I was doing something wrong, but I followed the same process I've been using for years and each time the program would freeze.

View 2 Replies View RelatedWhenever I go to open up Adobe Photoshop (64bit or otherwise) it will load up for a second then crash the next. It doesn't give me error reason why only says it has stopped working and it can't detect a problem so it closes. I have tried to uninstall and reinstall the program but the Adobe Application Manager is also acting weird. When it is opened it freezes and soon crashes saying there is a "Download Error".

As soon as you do anything else the program says not responding and you have to close it down. I can click on an autocad file in windows explorer and bring up the file this way but as soon as you try any file command such as save as the program freezes again. I am running windows 7 professional and the autocad LT 2011 64 bit program.

ok, here is my problem:
when i go to File->Open (or Ctrl+O), the Open dialog box opens momentarily (blink an you miss it) and then Photoshop and/or Illustrator freezes. the only way to close it is through Windows Task Manager->End Task.
there is no official error message, Photoshop/Illustrator just simply freezes.
however, and heres the kicker, when i open the files directly from the folder (Explorer) they open fine, i can work seamlessly, no problem. it only occurs when i open from the program itself. i do not know if the other suite programs (Flash, InDesign etc.) have the same problem as i dont use them much.
I ahve a users who is having an issue wher Illustrator CS6 will freeze up on startup. It displays a message that it can not laod a 39 font. However when I login to this workstation with a different userid, Illustrator opens without any issue.

I am running Illustrator CS5 on a brand new quad-core MacBook Pro. When I'm working in an Illustrator file, every time I click on a different object the program freezes for a good 5 seconds (which adds up really quickly and is really annoying.) I first noticed this in a large illustrator file with a lot of different elements, but I was testing it out and it still happens when I have a new document with only two circles in it. Im using mac version in a macbook pro 13" corei7 with 8gigs ram.
Just started a pen tool exercise in illustrator, at some point while using the pen tool I don't know why or how it happens but my screen stops "updating", "refreshing" or "drawing" while I drag it with the hand tool. What I mean is that if I start dragging with the hand, the rulers move as normal, but anything inside just stays a still picture and only when I release the mouse button is the screen changed to where I have dragged. Although the very edges of the artboard/workspace near the rulers behave normaly, I can see bits and pieces flying past there, but it's like there's this big square at the center of my screen that is a still image.
The problem is only inside Illustrator, the rest of my computer and screen behave normally.
I am using Windows XP SP 3, all updates 'n' stuff.
Having issue of illustrator failing to launch. Gets as far as Initialising Fonts 90% then freezes. Reinstalling didn't resolve the problem, also made sure it was updated as much as possible. (CS5 on Mac OS X 10.7.4)

View 9 Replies View RelatedI purchased PSP X3 yesterday and, after updating and playing around with it with no problems, when I double-clicked a video in the Organizer PSP tried to install additional stuff but failed because the PSP msi (that is momentarily decompressed during installation) was no longer in the TEMP folder.
Since I was installing it on my laptop too anyway, I "captured" the contents of the "Corel PaintShop Photo Pro X31.5.1.001" folder (in the laptop TEMP) during installation to "feed" to my copy of the desktop next time it asked to install additional stuff.
So, next time PSP asked to install something else during execution, I pointed it to the captured folder and it successfully completed.
The problem is, after this, whenever I try to run PSP I get a dialog stating Select allDetectLanguage() Failure. Exiting.and it just exits. If I re-install it becomes ok again, but I again don't have whatever feature it is trying to install halfway.
