Distributed Bucket Rendering Freezes Max.
The render freezes at 100%. The 3ds max memory in task manager remain the same.
I had checked all options: Place holder, Conserve memory, map manager.
In lighter scenes, it renders normal. But in complex scenes, it always freezes at 100%. I have to close the process in task manager.
I'm working on two computers. And the network is gigabit.
what is the rules to make ((distributed bucket rendering)) works ?I tried to render on my PC only, and tried on my PC and another one, it takes the same time?

I have been trying to set up another computer to render in vray by distributing render. I have followed various online tutorials showing exactly how to set it up but to no avail. When i render it says "could not connect to host 192.168.... no connection could be made because the target machine actively refused it". I have 64 bit running on my main pc with 32bit on my slave, vray 2.0 and 3ds max design 2012 on both machines,both pc's can see each other, on the same workgroup and backburner works. I have vray set up properly and vray spawner started although no icon appears in the taskbar as some say it should.

While rendering, the screen/pc becomes inresponsve - you don't even see the MR-brackets progress, everything is just freezed. After about 20-30 sec. the computer becomes responsive again and my rendering shows the "missing" progress. So while optically freezed, it continued rendering.
It's really annoying and i wonder if this is a typical MAX 2013 "feature"?
When rendering a Video, first AE is ultra-slow, then the Screen starts to flicker, then several AE Icons appear in the Taskbar and than it freezes...
System: Windows 8 on Intel i7 3930 with 32GB Ram, 2TB SSD and AMD Radeon HD 7970m... latest drivers installed...
I have a problem since I upgraded to CS6 for MAC. All the rest of the Design Premium software works fine, but adobe Illustrator seems to have a problem when exiting the app. Always hangs and never closes down so I have to use the Force Quit option of the OS. And it happens ALWAYS.

I have an image open and try to use the liquify tool in filters.It opens and then after attempting to use the tool, It freezes completely. Cant even get out of it or close it at all.

With my DVD installed on my new computer that runs on windows 7. After the installation, I tried to open photoshop to activate. When the program stats to open and freezes almost instantly. I have to open the task manager to close the program that appears not responding.
My new computer is a Workstation, S5000XVN Intel motherboard, 24 Gb of Ram, NVidea Quadro 2000.
Anytime I import a piece of Clipart and I go to the Trace bitmap button>outline trace>line art the program freezes immediately. The diagbox doesn't even pop up, nor does it say "not responding" at the top.
I am running Win 8 but it has been running for months without a hitch. I have cleaned out temp files and reinstalled the suite and nothing happened.
I'm using Elements 9 and I've never had any problems with it until today. When I tried to use the Adjust Shadows feature under Adjust Lighting, the program became unresponsive. It wouldn't allow me to do anything at all. I had to exit the program using the Task Manager. I tried two more times to see if I was doing something wrong, but I followed the same process I've been using for years and each time the program would freeze.

It doesn't give me error reason why only says it has stopped working and it can't detect a problem so it closes. As soon as you do anything else the program says not responding and you have to close it down. I can click on an autocad file in windows explorer and bring up the file this way but as soon as you try any file command such as save as the program freezes again. The problem computer shows up in the network from the host computer and can be pinged.
It's also not that I'm using too many processors, because I'm checking each one individually.

View 5 Replies View RelatedI am using beam/column calculator in the frame generator in inventor 2010 suite.I have a beam being used for a flight of stairs it is positioned 40 deg above the 'floor' or my xy plane in my assembly.I want to place a distributed load acting as if there were several people stading on the stairs at one time so in the direction of the z axis of my assembly.
The problem I am having is I try to change the angle of the distributed load but it only allows me to change the x and y components of the load.
a) change the angle of the laod in the Z directions
or
b) change the cordinates in beam itself so the x axis is along the length of the beam instead of the z axis.
I have tried adding a UCS to the beam part but it still wants to choose the length of the beam as the z axis.
why i cannot change the color of the background when rendering? It is always black, and i cannot attached or make new material, if need to attach jpeg or new texture on my drawing, cannot create new material. what should i do? im currently using autocad for mac 2012.

View 1 Replies View RelatedI made an outline of an image with the line tool and I read online that it only creates vectors or something. The solutions online told me to rasterize or flatten my layers. So I rasterized them but the paint bucket fills the whole screen with no regards to the lines I made.
Bottom Line: I made an outline using Line Tool, rasterized all my layers, used the paint bucket but the paint bucket covers the entire screen. I'm 100% sure there aren't any "holes" between the line segments btw.
I finally found the paint bucket tool - but when I try to use it, I get the circle w/ the cross in it (like the ghostbusters background )....it didn't work with .tif or .psd files, but it DID work w/ a .jpg file!
