Anytime I import a piece of Clipart and I go to the Trace bitmap button>outline trace>line art the program freezes immediately. The diagbox doesn't even pop up, nor does it say "not responding" at the top.
I am running Win 8 but it has been running for months without a hitch. I have cleaned out temp files and reinstalled the suite and nothing happened.
I`m new to X6 , is "PowerTRACE" a seperate program or part of CorelDraw only ? I did a full install and just assumed PowerTRACE was a seperate program as before in previous versions .
View 4 Replies View RelatedI'm having issues with the 64-bit version of Photoshop CS6. Immediately after attempting to open an existing file or create a new one, Photoshop completely freezes, with no error messages/dialogues, and I end up having to force close it from Windows Task Manager. This happens every single time. I had this same issue with the beta, and it continues into the full release. I've tried uninstalling and re-installing it multiple times to no avail.
I haven't had this issue with previous versions of Photoshop (CS 5 & 5.5), and the 32-bit version of CS6 runs fine. However, for obvious reasons, I would prefer to use the 64-bit version of the software to take full advantage of what my machine is capable of.I'm running this on a HP Envy 17 laptop, with an Intel Core i7 processor (1st-gen), an AMD Radeon HD 5850M graphics card, and 8GB of RAM.
I'm attempting to use CS3 on a Dell laptop- 64 bit- Windows 7.
When first installed it worked fine, then suddenly it was non-functional. It will open, but ANY request at all will cause it to freeze. I have to close it through Task Manager. I get no error messages, and when I went in to view the event viewer there is nothing there under Applications.
I've changed the default printer to a non-network but haven't done much else as I don't have administrative privileges on this (work) computer. We tried uninstalling and reinstalling and that did nothing.
I have an infuriating problem with Elements 4 crashing immediately after an install on mac OSX 10.4.11, I was given the computer, which still had Elements 4 on it although it always crashed on opening, i removed the program and bought a 2nd hand hard copy of Elements 4 from eBay.When i install the new copy it opens up with the "credits" but at the bottom right it still shows the past owners name as licensee briefly, then crashes before fully opening.

And when I try to open any photo in PS CC from Bridge CC I get asked if I want to save that file before I close PS CC. With no alternative to do anything else.
View 3 Replies View RelatedI keep having the experience that when I run PowerTRACE it says the bitmap is too large and must be reduced to trace. If I click cancel, X5 crashes immediately. If I click reduce it works sometimes and crashes sometimes. I tried tracing some of the same bitmaps in X3 and they worked fine. Is there something I need to change to allow PowerTRACE in X5 to run more smoothly? Is there a way to up the memory allotted to the program?
I'm running XP SP3 with an Intel Core 2 E8400 processor and 4gb of ram (3 of which XP actually knows how to use.) Not the most spectacular setup but it worked fine with X3. I tried adjusting the quality vs. performance option in the PowerTRACE settings but I can tell any difference.
I have CorelDRAW Graphics Suite X5 trying to use PowerTrace to trace a bitmap image. The PowerTrace window does not display when I select the object; go to Trace Bitmap --> Outline Trace --> and choose one of the types to trace. No window pops up. I can only press ESC to exit the action or ENTER which does a trace but apparently a Quick trace, not giving me the chance to refine the trace.
I'm up-to-date on fixes that I know of. Version is 15.2.0.695.

All the rest of the Design Premium software works fine, but adobe Illustrator seems to have a problem when exiting the app. Always hangs and never closes down so I have to use the Force Quit option of the OS. Distributed Bucket Rendering Freezes Max.
The render freezes at 100%. The 3ds max memory in task manager remain the same.
I had checked all options: Place holder, Conserve memory, map manager.
In lighter scenes, it renders normal. But in complex scenes, it always freezes at 100%. I have to close the process in task manager.
I'm working on two computers. And the network is gigabit.
I have an image open and try to use the liquify tool in filters.It opens and then after attempting to use the tool, It freezes completely. Cant even get out of it or close it at all.

With my DVD installed on my new computer that runs on windows 7. After the installation, I tried to open photoshop to activate. When the program stats to open and freezes almost instantly. I have to open the task manager to close the program that appears not responding.
My new computer is a Workstation, S5000XVN Intel motherboard, 24 Gb of Ram, NVidea Quadro 2000.
I'm using Elements 9 and I've never had any problems with it until today. When I tried to use the Adjust Shadows feature under Adjust Lighting, the program became unresponsive. It wouldn't allow me to do anything at all. I had to exit the program using the Task Manager. I tried two more times to see if I was doing something wrong, but I followed the same process I've been using for years and each time the program would freeze.

So if you want to draw another line right away, you have to switch back to the bézier tool. It would be nicer to have a one-step means of doing this. Does any exist?

computer is Dell Deminsion 4100; 900Mz; 512RAM; Speed of hard drive 7200.
Whenever I go to open up Adobe Photoshop (64bit or otherwise) it will load up for a second then crash the next. It doesn't give me error reason why only says it has stopped working and it can't detect a problem so it closes. I have tried to uninstall and reinstall the program but the Adobe Application Manager is also acting weird. When it is opened it freezes and soon crashes saying there is a "Download Error".

It's defaulting to the Finder view, but I can't even close that out before the program quits. I have tried to launch it by opening a file and that does not work either.

View 1 Replies View RelatedI edited a wedding video that is over 90 minutes long (it was a wedding in Ireland). It was filmed in AVCHD on a pro video camera.
I wanted to produce a standard DVD and a Blu Ray copy to send over. The DVD copy rendered fine but the Blu Ray as well as the AVCHD file crashed every time and even crashed the computer to re-start. It crashed at around 30% in and I tried a number of different combinations to accomplish this render.
What I then did after a few attempts was to look at the last frame of the couple of files it did render to see where on the time line it was crashing.
It turned out it was on a transition I customised, I think using proDAD VitaScene. It was a transition that created a twinkling star effect from one scene to the next. As soon as I removed this one transition and it rendered a Blu Ray file with no problems at all.
One question though, I am not sure why there are so many choices of Blu Ray and AVCHD in the menu. What is the difference and which one would be the generally used one.
Elements 11 was just installed on my lap top and is crashing while using organization part of program. No error message.
