Photoshop :: Avoid To Prevent CC From Crashing Immediately After Opening?
Jun 21, 2013
I installed both PS CC and BR CC for a second time and received and installed the first updates for CR 8.1 but still I cannot open PS CC without it closing on me immediately again. And when I try to open any photo in PS CC from Bridge CC I get asked if I want to save that file before I close PS CC. With no alternative to do anything else.
I have an infuriating problem with Elements 4 crashing immediately after an install on mac OSX 10.4.11, I was given the computer, which still had Elements 4 on it although it always crashed on opening, i removed the program and bought a 2nd hand hard copy of Elements 4 from eBay.When i install the new copy it opens up with the "credits" but at the bottom right it still shows the past owners name as licensee briefly, then crashes before fully opening.
Anytime I import a piece of Clipart and I go to the Trace bitmap button>outline trace>line art the program freezes immediately. The diagbox doesn't even pop up, nor does it say "not responding" at the top.
I am running Win 8 but it has been running for months without a hitch. I have cleaned out temp files and reinstalled the suite and nothing happened.
When I open CS4, it crashes with out an error message box coming up. The second attempt, it crashes with the message box saying, Error 150:30, Licensing for this product has stopped working.Â
I then have to go to the hard drive > library > application support > Flexnet publisher and delete it. I then can open up CS4 and it stays open. I have had to do this procedure for many months. I am using Mac OS.6.8. Is there a way of preventing CS4 from crashing without having to go through this procedure?
I just installed the adobe cs6 creative suite yesterday or the day before, but today was the first time I tried to launch PS. Each successive time that I've tried, I have gotten these two messages immediately after the program finishes loading:
I can't go to the preferences panel to attempt to fix the problem addressed in the first dialogue because PS will not stay open long enough to allow me to do so. I also googled the issue and the majority of people seemed to say that holding down ctrl+alt+shift as the program loaded would present me with a dialogue that would fix the problem, but when I tried it nothing happened.
I always used to have my images opened as 'floating' documents. Since I'm using CS4, PS always opens new images 'tabbed', and I have to drag them out of there manually to get a floating window. Is there a way to prevent this? I noticed the 'Open Document as Tabs' setting in the Interface Preferences, but that doesn't seem to do the trick (either enabled or disabled, PS keeps doing it).
Just upgraded to MAP 3D 2013 - when I click on the icon or type command qvlayout, the view of the layouts opens momentarily but then closes again instantly. Seems to do it randomly - I'll be using the command and it works as per usual but then it starts to act up. Doesn't seem to matter where I place the cursor, or what (if any) other drawings I have open. I've never had this issue with earlier versions..
I'm upgrading from CS5 and now every time I open a document in Photoshop, the Timeline animation window opens up. I'm on a MacBook Pro 15" and don't need the Timeline. It stills open up even after saving a new workspace with it closed and not even docked.
Is there a way to prevent Ai CS5 from re-opening documents after a crash? Â I think a specific document is causing Ai to crash, so after Ai crashes, it tries to re-open the file when I restart Ai, then it crashes again - ad infinitum!
I have a file that is the reference AI CS6 file. I am working in it, then a team member opened it - no warning - then he saved, not knowing I was in it. We lost work as AI gets confused. I don't understand why there isn't a read only like other programs. we are on a server and there has to be a way to know if it is being used? Saves phone calls and time and...depending on who saves when...we lose work. I must be missing something with CS6.
Photoshop crashes immdeiately after opening. I installed cleanmymac a few days ago and after suffering numerous problems, decided to use timemachine to go back to before the cleanmymac install. Since then photoshop crashes on opening. Other cc products seem fine.  Since the restore, I have also done a microsoft outlook update, otherwise no other changes made.I have signed in and out of creative cloud, deleted preferences & restarted numerous times.Error report below:  Process:        Adobe Photoshop CC [366] Path:           /Applications/Adobe Photoshop CC/Adobe Photoshop CC.app/Contents/MacOS/Adobe Photoshop CC Identifier:     com.adobe.Photoshop Version:        14.1.2 (14.1.2.427) Code Type:      X86-64 (Native)
The machine is a simple dell desktop, with Windows XP and Photoshop CS3.
When you're in the user session, you can open one file in Photoshop, but when you try to open a second one, Photoshop crash with a common Windows error message 0x7c928fea memory could not be written.
The computer has been all re installed from Windows to Photoshop, everything's up to date the problem still occures.
The weirdest part is,
When you're in the administrator session, there's no issue. W hen you give the administrator rights to the user, Photoshop still crashes.
I've never had this problem before, my system is freshly formatted and ps is acting up.. here is the error report: Â Problem Event Name: APPCRASH Application Name: Photoshop.exe Application Version: 11.0.2.0 Application Timestamp: 4bf2d91c Fault Module Name: BIB.dll Fault Module Version: 1.2.1.1744 Fault Module Timestamp: 48b5fcc0 Exception Code: c0000005 Exception Offset: 000000000001a318 OS Version: 6.1.7601.2.1.0.256.1 Locale ID: 1033 Additional Information 1: 83f8 Additional Information 2: 83f885d706e07a421d55db4a82e4b32d Additional Information 3: 0394 Additional Information 4: 03949964d3996ee575d5c455985c7e4f
Photoshop Cs3 has started crashing all the time when opening a new document or file, pdf, eps, tiff, jpeg etc. It shows the preview starts to rasterize (pdf) and then the crash report comes up and the program crashes.
We are a printing company and I am not sure what is going on. I have removed deactivated and reloaded the program several times.

Opening an 7gb 8bit psb file in PS CS6 64bit: PS opens the file and crashes immediately after showing the content (layers and image). an small error message is shown (but there is no description) Sometimes it opens the file, and i can work in it, and when i try to save it (in background AND normal), PS just disappears without error message  My work around: If i open another small jpg first (in first tab) and then open the big psb, i don't get this problem. but actually i never had it open for very long since i'm kinda scared to put some work into this unstable system. When doing this in PS CS6 32bit version, its pretty stable and i have no crash.  Funny thing is also, that one time I created a big file from like 20big tiffs in 16bit and could save it. All the time PS was running while creating stuff from scratch i didn't crashed. But after I saved the file and restarted PS, then he couldnt handle the file anymore and crashed like i said before.  System infos: PS, latest version! win7 64bit, 24gb ram, i7 920 single nvidia 260 gtx, used with different driver versions too my work hdd is an 1tb RAID 1, where i have scratch disc and my workfiles, plenty of space had this problem snce the begin, also without plugins working on dual screens (27" with 2560x1440 and the other one in 1200x1900) no other software running [code]....
Just started today, and of course it's a file sent to me for work... never had issues before.  here's the report  Process:    Adobe Photoshop CS5 [704]Path:       /Applications/Adobe Photoshop CS5/Adobe Photoshop CS5.app/Contents/MacOS/Adobe Photoshop CS5Identifier: com.adobe.PhotoshopVersion:    12.0.4 (12.0.4x20110407.r.1265] [12.0.4)Code Type:  X86-64 (Native)Parent Process: launchd [157]
I am running the Coreldraw x6 suite on a PC laptop (I7 16GB ram 64bit) on Windows 8. I haven't had any issues lately until last week when it just crashed every time I opened a file. I tested it and if I create a file with just shapes in it, then it's fine. As soon as I add a font into the file it crashes and shows the attached image.Â
I checked the latest window updates and there hasn't been one recently that could have affected it. There was one for Flash and I removed it but no difference. I haven't made any changes to my computer in the last 2 weeks that could affect it and I don't have any viruses or trojans. I have also removed the Windows update from a while back that affected Coreldraw fonts.
I've even resorted to uninstalling and re-installing X6. I tried running the fresh install and the same thing happened again.Â
I have installed Autocad 2012 LT on Windows XP sp3. The program opened and worked fine after the install. The user was not sure they wanted this version so I did not activate the program right away. After the user decided they wanted to keep this version I activated the program with a license and now the program will not open. Crashes and does not give an error message.
I have tried to uninstall and re-install. I uninstalled netframework 3.5 sp1 and re-installed, still will not open.
I've installed GIMP 2.8 on Windows XP. It was working fine till yesterday. It is crashing within 3-5 minutes of opening an image and when working on the image.I get run time error.
we've just migrated to the 2014 release of the inventor suite and use vault basic. With the 2014 version of inventor the program immediately crashes when attempting to open an autocad dwg. Inventor dwg files open fine. We never experienced this issue in our previous release. We only use the dwg format and because the preview is not always available it often happens that we open an autocad dwg in inventor and vice versa. Crash is reproduced on multiple maches.
Autocad LT 2008 keep crashing and not responding everytime i try to open any drawing file.i don't know what is the problem since i only using Window XP with 2.67GHz, 3.36 GB of RAM.
I find when i open any file i have saved as an X6 file CorelDraw crashes ...the only way it works is if i open a blank template or older file (not saved in x6) first
