I have been a user of Corel since 5 (not X5, but the original 5). In CorelDRAW X6 my quick pan with the center mouse button isn't working. It works fine in Corel Paint, but not in DRAW.
View 4 RepliesFor some reason my quick key "Control D" for Duplicate isn't working. It shows that it's still listed in the Tools, Options, Commands, Duplicate at times. At others, it appears empty. I now have to go to Edit and select the Delete function each time.
Is my CorelDraw falling apart?

View 2 Replies View RelatedThis issue has been around for the last 4 versions at least, Quick Mask stops working, I am getting fed up with having tio reset photoshop to its defaults, because this means that it takes me a good 30 min to reset all of my settings again, and as this has now happened 4 times today, it is costing me money, at least CS3 was a little bit more reliable than CS4, I certainly will not be upgrading our copies of Photoshop.
Has anyone got a simple way to get Quick Mask working again without loosing the other settings from Photoshop...
Or does anyone know why this happens? My system is 4 x Quad Core CPU, running 16Gb RAM and 2 x 8800 Video Cards on x64 Windows XP, so it cannot be down to memory.
I run SC3 on a PC. The other day I did something that has made it so my quick mask selection no longer works but I do not know what it was. What happens is after in go into the quick mask mode (tap the q key) and with the brush color the section I wish to mask; I then tap the q key again to exit the quick mask mode but the marching ants surround the entire photo not my selection. When in the quick mask mode it does show on the title bar that I am in the quick mask mode and when I tap q again that I am going back to normal mode.

When this is done does the selection borders try to blend with the back ground or will they try to blend with the layer 1 as it is the layer just behind the layer 2. In case if there is no background, I mean if all three are layers then what happens?
The Quick Selection Tool (QST) was working fine. Used the Lasso Toll and when I tried to use QST again it stopped working.
View 1 Replies View Related I have recently installed Photoshop CS6 after previous happy experience with CS3. The software appears to be seizing up when editing a selection in quick mask mode (image or layer mask) under the following conditions:
- 64 bit mode
- image > screen size, especially at 100% maginification
- or image magnification adjusted whilst in quick mask
The red mask appears slowly and only where I move the mouse curser - but will not cover the entire masked area.The software freezes, and I have to kill the process from the OS. Task manager shows its status as 'running' and memory / CPU do not appear to be maxed out.

For some reason my quick mask mode stopped working. I can go into quick mask mode. I can highlight what I want to select. but when I exit out to make the changes I wanted to, the only thing selected is the outside edge of the image I'm working on. So instead of having the extent of the image and the part I highlighted selected (basically everything except what I colored in QMM) only the extent of the image is selected.
I have even uninstalled photoshop, re-booted, and re-installed photoshop and I still have the same problem.
I am having problems with quick select not working properly in 2013 when I am cleaning up X-Refs selecting hatcing or anything else it does not just delete what I am tring to select it just deletes everything. If I go back to any prevous version of AutoCAD it works fine the only solution i can think of is to reinstall.

View 1 Replies View RelatedI decided to do the Creative Cloud thing. Installed Photoshop CC trial. Opened up a new document and tried to drag out a selection box ... and nothing. I can't drag my mouse. I can click on things. But dragging doesn't seem to work. Neither does right clicking.
So for example, I can't move layers. I can select them in the layers panel, but I can't drag them in the workspace. Same with sliders. I can select a location on a slider, but I can't grab the handle and slide it around. I've tried resetting preferences, restarting, and disabling graphic card acceleration.
I'm running Windows 7 x64. My mouse is a wireless Logitech that I haven't had any trouble with otherwise. I opened up paint and it can track me dragging my mouse around to paint (so it's not just a ****** mouse connection or anything).
Having issues with quick properties? When I click on my surfaces or features line my quick properties dialog box is blank..

One that I haven't found reported on this site is the problem related with the 3D mouse (3D connexion Space Navigator). I've been working with it beautifully with R2012-2013 but now that I started working on Inventor 2014 it stalls and stops working suddenly. It's so bad that I stopped using the 3D mouse entirely.

My lot top mouse is not working no more with the zoom in and out command. I dont have and external mouse other than the one is install from factory on my lot top comp. It was working perfect, but i think i click something by mistake. I only learn enough to draw in cad but when it comes up to problems like this i do not know what to do. I have acad 13 installed on an asus laptop. I wanted to do some serious work last night so I plugged in the mouse to the usb port. Doing my usual quick clicking, anytime i was "inside the dwg" like say select or pick a point on the screen, i needed a second pick to do anything. Same with rt click for return. picking a menu item or dropdown or button works fine, "outside the dwg".
Noticed that a slow deliberate click seems to work.I reloaded the asus mouse driver, no dice.I took a 10 year logitech old mouse out, same problem.This problem does not occur using the pointing/click device built into the laptop.Is there something that is looking at the duration of my click in acad? in asus computer ?

When I press my mouse wheel button I see the 'hand icon' for a moment before my cursor returns to the crosshairs. The mouse wheel zoom works just fine, and the pan function still works on my old 2010 install.

View 2 Replies View RelatedI haven't been able to use the 3D orbiting shortcut since yesterday. I'm using a wireless Microsoft Mouse and keyboard instead of the inbuilt mouse & keyboard on my laptop (which don't seem to be executing the command either).
Up until yesterday I never had any problems orbiting the view.
I own a Wacom tablet and I've used it for about a year now.. and now that I mostly use my Laptop, I use the wacom tablet as a mouse pad (using the mouse that comes with it). I opened up photoshop today on my laptop and I was trying to erase some things using the brush command and it didn't work.. after an hour of panic and googleing I had the idea of using the pen.. which works.
I've deleted preferences, reset tools, and everything.. but its not working. No brush commands work (Clone, Brush, Eraser, etc.) but everything else will work.
I don't get it.. Is it something with pressure maybe?
Thats the only difference between mouse and pen.. pen adds pressure sensitivity.
I can't use the pen for pixel editing as well as I can use a mouse.
I have a Logitech M510 wireless mouse, and it works fine for everything, Firefox horizontally scrolls just fine with the tilt-wheel, and the forward and backward buttons on the mouse function as well. But not in GIMP.
I'm running an HP laptop with Windows 7, and GIMP 2.8.
I tried binding brush size decrease/increase to left/right scroll in the mouse wheel input and nothing happens. Then I restarted GIMP from a terminal with --verbose and told the wheel input to dump events and the only ones printed were scroll up/down. Curious, I enabled the dump for the mouse buttons input as well, and the back/previous buttons also don't generate events.
Because it works fine in other applications and because it generates no events in GIMP

View 9 Replies View RelatedI have a Logitech MX 600 cordless mouse. I just updated the SetPoint software as I got a new cordless keyboard. Now, the middle button pan is erratically working. None of the settings has changed. MBUTTONPAN is set to 1. Middle button is still set to "Middle Button."
Sometimes the pan works. Most of the time it doesn't. If there are new setting on the SetPoint software I need to check or uncheck? I've even tried messing with some CUI settings under the mouse component...
