I just tried the pdf export of a multipage document. When I open it in Reader or Acrobat I see a grid where the page is not covered (transparency grid?). It has nothing to do with the Reader feature - the grid is in the pdf (I can see it with Pitstop in wireframe mode). Can't find where to turn it off.
View 16 Repliesi have a problem and it's driving me nuts. I have some corel files with print grid layer button turned on and it's impossible to turn it off.
This have a secondary effect and it's corel hangs up when i try to print the file, start to make the "previous checkings" and never ends.
Snap commands in X6? I can not get the snap to grid to turn off. The button is off and the setting is set to off in options. Objects seem to snap all over not just to the grid. And the grid snap seems to be out of alignment-I cant seem to get objects to snap exactly to the grid.
The same files reopened in X5 are fine. This started with yesterdays install of 6.2. leaving X2 completely unusable.
Implement the option to change the transparency grid colors, even if it's only a simple toggle between dark/light grids. It would work when drawing light objects.

Nothing is overwrote as being transparent in view/ VG/ Model.
Use Hardware Acceleration (Direct3D) is not selected.

I can turn it off by clicking on it to turn off but it won't stay turned off. I tired to go into my preferences to see if you can keep it off in your setting but I do not see it. A lot of discussion boards talk about in the Transform window "Align new objects to pixel grid" and that is turned off.

View 6 Replies View RelatedSo, when Adobe introduced the "brush preview" when using the Control+Option drag to change the brush size/hardness (not sure if it's called this way), I was ecstatic! It made my workflow much faster without having to go to the menu to change the brush size or to the bracket keys. Now on CS6 they added a feature that basically broke that for me. Now it not only shows the size/hardness, but it also shows the transparency. It sounds like a great idea, and it is when you work with bigger opacities, but I work a lot with opacities below 10% and it basically becomes invisible, so it's hard to know if I'm using a hard/soft brush when adjusting the brush size. Is there a way to turn just the transparency preview off?!

If I uncheck the "Show pixel grid at 800% and higher zoom", then the pixel grid is turned off as expected. However, the next time I open another document, the pixel grid gets turned right back on. How do I make it so the pixel grid is always off? I've tried making it fully transparent, but the transparency resets each time I open a new image as well.

View 1 Replies View RelatedI have a set of four images I am referencing into a drawing through the data connect feature found in Planning and analysis that overlap. I am running Civil 3D 2013. I would like to be able to clip the images as well as turn off the transparency but I can't seem to figure out how. If you select the images cadd thinks it is an image referenced outside of Data connect, but the clipping tool doesn't work, and it doesn't even matter if you de-select print transparency in the page setup, it still prints transparent. Is there another set of commands or tools that I am not aware of that allows you to edit an image brought in through the data connect?

Then apply Uniform transparency. Now I got problem in printing also & while making CMYK jpeg also same problem. If I convert to Bitmap CMYK same problem. but if you convert to RGB it look OK & then you have to convert to CMYK.

I am getting a problem that whenever i exported corel file to pdf. It's showing grid lines on pdf file whereas corel file doesn't showing any gridlines nor i checked "show grid lines".
I know what's causing the problem. The problem is when i updated my CD X5 to X6, In each file a popup palette came saying "to update the text, click update". I clicked on update. Since then this problem is occurring only those file on which i clicked update.Making a new file with copy paste option is last choice.
