i have a problem and it's driving me nuts. I have some corel files with print grid layer button turned on and it's impossible to turn it off.
This have a secondary effect and it's corel hangs up when i try to print the file, start to make the "previous checkings" and never ends.
Is there a setting somewhere that will allow you to turn off a layer automatically when another layer is turned off?
View 1 Replies View RelatedI just tried the pdf export of a multipage document. When I open it in Reader or Acrobat I see a grid where the page is not covered (transparency grid?). It has nothing to do with the Reader feature - the grid is in the pdf (I can see it with Pitstop in wireframe mode). Can't find where to turn it off.

I have a rather large job, a book with 370 pages. when we want to reprint w/o any changes i would like to turn off the print preview to eliminate the delay.
How to bypass the print preview?
Illustrator CS5. I made a 32x32 pixel box, put a 32x32 artboard around it, export it at 72 ppi png, with or without antialiasing which doesn't seem to matter whether it's on or off, yet it always exports out as a 33x33 png instead of a 32x32, adding 1 pixel to each side, tested with a higher resolution, doesn't matter saves with 1 extra pixel on each side example 500x500 will become 501x501, when I look at the picture even if it's a solid color square it will make the edges transparent and ruin the picture on the edges making it hard to fix in another program after exported from illustrator. I tried something out when I searched the internet for solutions, I checked in save for web under Image Size it will say my 32x32 square is 33x33 in that screen but in the info window it is 32x32.
I have align to pixel grid turned off if that matters at all.
Sometimes when I am typing in the width and height in the transform window changing the size it was previously, example from 67.354 W to 67 and 55.271 H to 55, instead of going to 67x55 it will change itself to 67.18 and 55.084 that is an example not from an actual thing I did.
I recently installed AutoCAD 2012 and have noticed that my crosshairs are moving as if a grid is turned on. I checked my settings and have turned everything off however, the crosshairs continues to move in "jerk-like" movements.
How do I change this?

I have turne off Snap to Grid, and Snap to Point.. and I have made sure "Align New Objects To Pixel Grid" under the Transform menu is turned off, yet still my objects are snapping to point intersects... am I missing something?
View 5 Replies View RelatedSnap commands in X6? I can not get the snap to grid to turn off. The button is off and the setting is set to off in options. Objects seem to snap all over not just to the grid. And the grid snap seems to be out of alignment-I cant seem to get objects to snap exactly to the grid.
The same files reopened in X5 are fine. This started with yesterdays install of 6.2. leaving X2 completely unusable.
I use print preview in Lightroom 4. I also print a lot of landscapes. When I hit print and go to print preview, all my images are turned on end which makes review difficult. Is there a way to view them as they should be, landscape. In Lightroom, everything is set to landscape and in the printer module, it is all set to landscape. Just in print preview, they are turned on end.

I can turn it off by clicking on it to turn off but it won't stay turned off. I tired to go into my preferences to see if you can keep it off in your setting but I do not see it. The "Layer" button is turned on. Stabilizer/Track is set to Track. I have a plan view of a residential building. I want to remove some columns. I may need them later so I don't want to delete them.
I want to move them to a new layer (layer name: hiddenObject) and turn this layer off to unshow them.
When I move them and turn that layer off, first, the color of those objects didn't turn to layer's color and second they don't disappear.
What is wrong with my procedure?
So... every layer has to be turned on and thawed? But that's the direction things seem to be going. If I want to see my contours, for example, all layers associated with them must be on and thawed. Yes? No?
This makes drafting and designing more difficult and it unnecessarily clutters the screen. Once I'm done creating a surface, for example, I don;t want to see the intermediate entities again (unless I need to make changes). All I want to see is the finished product that will appear on the plans, i.e. contours, etc.

View 4 Replies View RelatedI just had C3D 2013 reinstalled on my LT and having a surface visibility issue. This may be just a command setting issue but I have a surface and created it on a particular layer that I can't make invisible.
Then I turned that layer off so I could work on other things. Now when I do a REGEN that surface becomes visible in my drawing yet the layer identified in its properties is turned off.
If I got to VIEW and ORBIT the surface disappears until I stop rotating then it’s visible again. I like to control visibility by turning layers on or off but this isn’t allowing me to turn it off.
If I make the surface layer current and do a rebuild the surface moves back to that layer and I can then turn that layer off to make the surface invisible.
Why is this surface visible when its layer is turned off?
In Photo-Paint X5, there is an option that allows you to turn off the pixel grid. It's located under Tools -> Options -> Document -> Grid -> Pixel Grid. If I uncheck the "Show pixel grid at 800% and higher zoom", then the pixel grid is turned off as expected. However, the next time I open another document, the pixel grid gets turned right back on. How do I make it so the pixel grid is always off? I've tried making it fully transparent, but the transparency resets each time I open a new image as well.
