CorelDRAW X5 :: Error / Failed To Initialize Video Capture Plugin

in capture mode, choosing "capture video"I get error message "failed to initialize the video capture plug-in another program may be using it or this file has been moved" " open driver failed" 152.00.43.0 15023.4.2 my video capture device is a USB WDM 2860 and shows in the "source" window but no "formate" can be chosen and no video comes through. The operating system is windows 7 64 bit. I have "Magix movie edit pro 17" and "Cyberlink Video Director" and both of these programs work with the same device and capture. Neather one of these applications are running while using Video Studio. I checked and nothing else is utilizing this USB WDM 2860 device. I reinstalled the software, installed the patches, and uninstalled the USB drivers and reinstalled them.

After not having much luck with the last video card, I changed my video card to a device with the Philips 713x chipset
Now when I select video capture I get the following message:
failed to initialize the video capture plugin
Open driver failed
(15200:43:0)
(15023:4:2)
cannot create the video capture filter
I have just installed card (SAA7130 TV PCI card) with latest drivers excluding the software so Video Studio 12 pro is the only capture software on the machine . I also re-installed both card and Video Studio after doing a complete system restore and used CC cleaner to remove any residual data before re-installing.
I need to use video capture within the Video Studio software as I need to use the scene detection functionality.The reason I had to change the card in the first place is that video studio only allowed me to capture in AVI 320x240 and gave 'capture failed' errors with anything else.

I just recently started having problems with my PSP Photo XI program on my laptop. The other day it would start up and run normally, but the next day when I went to run the program, it wouldn't start. My computer would freeze up and show this error message: "The application failed to initialize properly (0xc0000006). Click OK to terminate the applicaion."
I tried turning off my computer and running the program again, but the same thing came up. I tried to run the repair program on it, nothing. I even tried to uninstall PSP XI to no avail as I got a different error message: "Internal Error 2328 C:Program FilesCorelCorel Paint Shop Pro XICoreErrorCodesRC.dll"
I really don't know what to do, short of just completely resetting my laptop back to factory settings and starting fresh. But even then I don't know if that would fix the problem.
I wish I knew why the program decided to just stop working one day, as I haven't downloaded anything and my anti-virus is up to date.My computer is a Dell XPS M1710, and it runs Windows XP SP3.

I just installed VideoStudio Pro X4 on my Dell laptop with 64BIT, Windows 7 Home Premium. I am TRYING to use an EZCAP 64BIT device with my 8MM camcorder connected to it and "Composite" input selected as is appropriate in this connection. VideoStudio loads fine; select Capture tab, fine; click Capture Video, that loads fine with "Capture Video" flashing and waiting to be clicked again to begin capture, fine; I click "Capture Video," the icon changes to "Stop Capture," fine; I press PLAY on my 8MM camcorder; the video and audio begin, and I can see and hear it on my machine for approximately 8 - 10 seconds, then a box pops up with the message, "Unable to capture the file because it is copyright protected. OK"

I tried to remove an old version with Revo uninstaller, and when trying to install that one after, it just did that
Theres the error, in Danish though, but it says:"An error occurred the installationsprogram could not be initialized, Download Adobe support advisor to register the problem"
The problem is, i have downloaded it, but it does not fix it..

I had to get a new hard drive on my Mac and I backed everything up and reinstalled it all when I got it back. Photoshop is the only thing not working now. I try to open it and get this message:
Could not initizlize Photoshop failed to initialize cooltype. I've read and read and tried everything is could on this[URL]... and I also uninstalled and reinstalled it twice and still I get this message.

I re-installed Inventor.
I reinstalled vba6.msi.
Still running in this error!

I have the student version of Inventor 2014 installed on my computer. My O/S is Windows 7 Ultimate 64 bit. I have installed and reinstalled Microsoft Visual Basics three times. But, I am still getting the error "VBA failed to initialize properly".The program was working fine for about a week with no errors reported. Now, every time I try to start a tutorial I get this error.

I made it through a project with a few Smoke crashes, mostly on a particular clip. Then when I go back to make revisions a day later I get this message:
Error: VOLUMEMGT: Failed to initialize Stone+Wire connection.
Everything was working fine up to that point besides the few Smoke crashes that recovered with no problem.I am really in a bind now and need to finish this project urgently.sw_logs_2.txt

URL.... "Failed to launch server application" when trying to edit a bitmap out of CorelDraw, only later saw that specific post was for X3. I have the same trouble, only with X4.
To recap my problem: When calling the "edit bitmap" function in X4 - I receive this message: "Failed to launch server application". Paint opens, closes, opens, closes and then the message pops up.
I tested several files, different bitmaps, different dpi's, new files with newly converted bitmaps (filled rectangle to bitmap). To no avail.

complete Corel X4 uninstall 3 times already .... even went so far as to reboot the registry to a date before I installed Corel X4 Suite to no avail.
The program has had no issues until the last 2 weeks. The actual issue I am having is Paint works fine as a separate entity however when I try to edit a bitmap from within X4 an error pops up telling me "Failed to launch server application" This is a major PITB as I own a graphics company and this is causing no end of problems

After apparently successfully capturing dv from Sony Cam (V1P) and Panasonic NVGS400 via firewire, I get message 'capture failed, corrupt files'. This happens with VS4 and VS5 both of which are installed on this computer. Settings are lower field first, dv1. All patches are installed.

I have VideoStudio Pro X5 ultimate. Build # 15.1.0.34 I have upgraded my operating system from Windows 7 to windows 8. On windows 7, Screen Capture worked just fine. On windows 8 it does not operate. I get a message as follows: “VSSCap. Prepare Record Failed!!! #42” How can I get Screen Capture to work on my Windows 8 system? All other functions of VideoStudio Pro X5 seem to work OK. I tried to submit a question to Corel as to what this Error code means and how to correct the problem but they say "NO TECKS AVAILABLE TO ANSWER YOUR QUESTION" And just log me out?
What "Prepare Record Failed!!! #42" means and or how to correct it? It seems to me that if Corel gives you an error message then they should support that error but they do not! Why don't they? They say that Windows 8 and VideoStudio Pro X5 Ultimate are completely compatible then why am I getting this message. Corel really should support it's message errors and not let its customers struggle for an answer? I love VideoStudio Pro X5 Ultimate and try as I may I cannot solve this problem.

I have a Canon S100 and just started importing photos and video into my LR 4.3 catalog. I convert RAW to DNG, and the Capture Time on the photos in LR is correct. However, the video Capture Time is shifted forward exactly 8 hours. I know how to correct the video Capture Time, but is there anything I can do to stop this from happening in the first place? I looked at what the metadata looks like in Bridge.
PHOTO:
Date Created = Correct Capture Time
Date File Modified = The time I imported the file into LR.
VIDEO:
Date Created = Capture Time + 8 hours
Date File Modified = Correct Capture Time

I've not had a problem during the past 9 months of constant operation.Part of the report indicates the following:
"Exception Type: EXC_BAD_ACCESS (SIGBUS)
Exception Codes: KERN_PROTECTION_FAILURE at 0x00000000924da000"
which may give a clue. Of course the error report contains a volume of other info too.how to solve and get back to using the application?I'm on a MacBookPro8,2 using OS X 10.7.5.

I have CS5 and lately I have been getting this error message: "could not initialize photoshop because there is not enough ram." I have a new computer that is running Windows 8 and has 32 Gigabytes of ram. Whatever the problem actually is, it's not because I don't have enough ram! I can fix it for a while by reboting my computer.

I Just bought a new HP laptop and it came with Corel VideoStudio Pro X3 pre installed. When I go to open the program I get the error message 'Cannot initialize application. The screen resolution is too small to play the video. The screen resolution must be set to at least 1024 x 768". Well the screen res is on 1600 x 900, so i thought i would have that covered. I tried changing the screen res to 1024x768 and get the same message.

could not initialize because of a program error
This is my problem while loading the program
i have 2 NTFS partitions on one harddisk
first the primary scratchdisk was "startup"
then i changed primary scratchdisk to d:/ and secondary to c:/
After restart my problem occurd
Reinstalling Photoshop could not solve the problem, it kept the same error message
only after totally reinstalling windows XP prof. i could use the program again
For now i do not set any scratchdisks
My harddisk is ok with no bad sectors

But when I start Photoshop, it displays its first couple screens full of stuff (before there's any user input), and then displays a dialogue box saying, 'Could not initialize Photoshop failed to initialize CoolType'. When you click OK, Photoshop terminates.
It may or may not be relevant, but Illustrator also won't start, though it doesn't even give me the courtesy of an error message. It just displays that little box with the graphics and the list of developers, for 30 seconds or so, and then it disappears without a trace.

Come across an issue when starting Photoshop CS6 and a windows error prompts with:
"Could not initialize Photoshop because of a program error"
I had x1 Illustrator file open at the same time as I launched the Ps app. I had to close the .ai file and re-try opening Photoshop again. There are a lot of little glitches with CS6 that I'm encountering more & more of. Is this common? or just a local problem with my hardware?I'm running Windows XP (32bit) with the latest service pack, & all CS6 apps were downloaded via Adobe Application manager.
