Friends, In some documents (not all) if I place some objects outside page area (desktop) it disappear for other pages. I have to use copy paste (very slow and time wasting process)

recently installed X5. More often than not - when I open Corel X5 everything has a yellow tint. Doesnt happen all the time. Checkout the image below. X5 over top of an X4 window. Everything on and inc desktop is affected inc pallet which is supposed to be CMYK. White now = beige . When I first opened X5 it came up with some issue about the monitor profile. Weird thing is I will open it 10 mins later and it will behave normal - all back to looking like X4.

i often do a very big and complex mix of logos names and so on.
i´d like to know if ther is any hotkey on how to move any object or a group of objects from far on the page to the page border.
I used CorelDraw X4 to Open several 48 page PDFs (File, Open, open the PDF.) The PDFs consist of 6 images per page in a grid - no text, nothing fancy. Everything works great, except that in the CDR files that were originally created by openening the PDFs if I drag one of the original photos or any object that I've drawn in CorelDraw on one of the pages to the desktop, it doesn't move to the desktop layer as I'm used to but instead stays on the page layer for the individual page it was dragged from and thus is only visible when the original page is up even though it's outside the page area unless I manually change its layer (I ususually use the desktop as a quick way to move objects between pages faster than using the clipboard.)
This is probably something silly, a setting that I've never used -- how to make it so any object dragged off the page to the desktop area is moved from Page 1 Layer 1 for example to the Desktop Layer so it's visible to all pages, and can then be dragged form the Desktop to Page 2 Layer 1 for example.
Lightroom 3.6 icon disappear from desktop and startmenu. The operating system is Windows 7 Home. The icon disappeare after a couple of weeks. I need to repare the installation.

CorelDRAW X6
The default page size in X6 has become 9 x 11 and when you try to change it to 8.5" x 11" it defaults back to 9 x 11. Same with objects. It does not show true sizes, never shows .25 or half sizes. I have looked through settings and how to get true measurements in my display at the top of the page, so when I import an object it does not give actual ruler sizes.

I have a drawing of an object and I want to fit it to the page, I can magnify it or minimize it using the mouse but this not the issue, it seems fine on the page like 1, when I go to "Arrange >> Clear transformations" it looks bigger like 2, but thats the original size, how can I change it to smaller (or bigger)?

View 2 Replies View RelatedI am having a horrible time getting the page size to not be a whole number - not 8.5x11. It will not change even going into all the options in set up. Object sizing is doing the same thing. Somehow I have also lost the letter size in the page options - comes up custom. The set up shows that it is 8.5x11, but cannot adjust when a page is open. Things just keep changing in my Corel that I haven't changed.

I am creating an object that has four text boxes in an object that is about 2" x 4". When I do the merge, I end up with multiple pages, all 2" x 4". How can I now move those pages spaced about a larger page, say 11" x 17" so I can have positioned and print multiple 2" x 4" objects on the larger sheet?

View 4 Replies View Relatedwhen i open photoshop elements 11 my thumbnails are displayed but then they quickly turn into an hourglass and then disappear and turn into a torn/ripped/broken page/photo icon.. i have tried refreshing, updating thumbnail, repairing cache, erasing cache, unistalling and reinstalling.. even tried too import same folder of photos on tw different computers and had the same problem. also, i can see the humbnails in windows explorer so i know the files are not corrupt or damaged.

If I use a label type approach some rows have less data making the layout uneven (unsuitable for the project)
Is there a way to merge with a fluid result ?
Ie row one takes up 2 lines Row 2 takes up 5 lines Row 3 takes up 1 line etc

If it's a bug, then I cannot believe it wasn't caught before the release. So here it is. I simply put artistic text down on page 1. Select the text and copy to clipboard. Add a new page and paste the text. On my computer, the text changes from artistic text (as copied to clipboard) to paragraph default text left justified across the center of the page. It doesn't matter how much text I select, it always pastes on the new page as paragraph text left justified and across the center of the page.
However, if I select artistic text and any other object, copy and paste to a new sheet, it works erectly. Apparently, I now have to select text and an object to insure that the paste feature works properly?
I have a user that imported linework and text from shp files. the map came together but when you try to modify any text it vanishes and a regen does not bring it back. However, it exisit in the file; a qselect all text shows in the props palette but no grips show.
I cleared the map cache but it does not work.

I was watching a video on YouTube on how to make an explosion. However, the video is not very useful. The part I am stuck on is when he makes a "patch" of the texture in the driveway, and then he covers up his explosive box. After that, he copies the box and is able to make appear and dissapear.
The part of the video I don't understand is at 1 minute, 22 seconds.

I'm using CorelDraw x6 for a while and I haven't got any issues with it by now. Today I've open one of my files and some of the texts was missing (the one with font "Trajan Pro". First I thought that my file is broken (it wasn't). My second thought was that there is something wrong with the font (if this is possible), I've replace it with still no change.
Every time when I change a text with this font it disappears from the screen. I can see the preview, When I mark it as a text I can still see it. But when I point some where else on the screen it is gone. See the pictures.
I do not know is the problem with Corel Draw, but everything was working just fine by now, and Now I can not use this font any more for some reason.
I have been having problems opening old corel drw 11 jobs that i did.
Once i finish designing and close the files, it will not open the following day.
also some times i get an error message that the application you are using has become unstable and will need to close, and i always lose any ongoing projects.
I'm a LONG time Corel user -- back to version 4. Have been using X3 for years. Bought X5 but liked X3 better so I kept using it. (Basically only used X5 to import customer Illustrator files and PDFs that wouldn't import correctly into X3.)
Got new computer with Windows 7 and decided to upgrade to X6 64 bit. Overall it's been fine. Only using for a few days.
One thing I do are custom estimates for my clients. I keep several "stock" paragraphs of content on the desktop so I can copy and paste these into the estimate. Typically I just open an old estimate, rename it, and start the new estimate.
Opened X3 estimate in X6 and renamed it. Having some strange behaviors. The file was way too big. Should have been a couple hundred k and it was more than 4mb. Crashed several times. When I would add a page and copy content from a previous page, it would make the desktop grid printable, and I couldn't turn it off. Crashed some more.
Decided to start with a new X6 document. Copied pieces from the X3 file to make a new estimate template. File size now looks correct at a couple hundred k. Everything working fine except when I try to copy text from a paragraph box on the desktop INTO a paragraph box on the page it crashes. Not every time, but often.
In Microsoft windows 7 Ultimate 64 Bit when PDF is created in Coreldraw X6 64 bit PDF Icon dont shows Thumbnail on Desktop. I can see the thumbnails from other's PDF

If there is no object on that layer, I want a warning box to pop up stating so. How can I do this? Each time I open a second or third file in CorelDraw x5, the windows seem to lose the top MIN, Max Close icons. You know the ones that sit at the top right of each window. Because of this I'm unable to close or edit the work. In fact NOTHING works. I'm running Windows 7 64 bit with a TON of memory.

why some of these texture fills disappear when outputting to PDF or even converting to Bitmap?
For some time I was using CorelDraw 12 with Windows XP and Excel 2007.I normally make some tables in Excel which I copy and paste into Corel using "Paste special"/Picture/Enhanced Metafile. In Windows XP there was no problem. Since I switched to Windows 7, I have the following problems:
- The font Wingdings 3 comes out as Arial.
- The second problem is a very strange thing: Some characters, such as ,-"; , always at the END of the line, just dissapear. It happens sometimes, not always, and I can't see absolutely no logic in it: I copy the same thing, paste it several times, and sometimes the comma comes out, sometimes not. I remember that this happened to me ONCE, long time ago, when I was still using XP, but then I restarted Corel and it stopped making problems. But now, with Windows 7, it happens almost all the time. I tried it on a few different PCs and I even tried it with Corel X4. Always the same problem.
