AutoCad :: LT 2013 - Text Not Plotting Correctly Using DWG To PDF Plotter

I am using AutoCAD LT 2013 and at the moment i am just using the dwg to pdf.pc3 included in AutoCAD.
All of the text in my drawings is the same font (ISOCPAUS). Up until about a week ago, i could plot bold & italic text using the dwg to pdf plotter. Now, I cannot and i don't know what has changed to make this happen. Underlined and overlined text still plots fine to pdf. Everything appears correct in model space, paper space layouts, in previews and if i plot to any of the printers in the office, but once i plot to pdf, the bold and italic is gone.

Im making a shop drawing and it's already finished, when i tried to plot it in pdf or in plotter the other lines are not visible. Visual style control i tried all the things but still some other lines that drawn in 3d are blurred or not shown in the layout.

I have a plotting issue I cannot resolve. Basically, my plotter is not plotting some bits of a drawing. Usually it just cuts 20% of it, sometimes it just doesn't plot some random objects.

We have dwg auctocad 2010, and there are some Arabic Text in the cad dwg,
When I convert cad dwg into PDF file, It arabic Text not showing correct Arabic language.
Arabic Text show separate separate alphabat why ?
How I could convert cad dwg so that aracbic text should be show correctly in PDF file ?

I am currently running map 3d 2012 and my co-worker is running 2013. When she plots in paperspace, there is text that gets plotted that is outside of her viewport. When I open up the drawing on my computer, it plots perfectly. I attached a clip of it, the thick black is our drawing border, the viewport is where the color stops.

I have attached my template drawing and a plotted pdf file of my template.
My question is the logos in the title block are hand drawn dwg logos. My client does not like the pdf file because the ITC logo text changes color and looks grainy or washed out. It is not crisp and clean. This is VERY IMPORTANT to him. Why do they change so as in the colors of the ITC logo change to a light blue not the 178 I set it at in AutoCad. when I plot a pdf the file. When plotting I use the DWG to PDF option.

I'm using Civil 3D 2012. When it generates labels (alignment stationing, profile station & elevation, etc.), it keeps generating them in layer 0. It does not matter how I change the styles to the layer that I want.
It allows me to change the properties of the labels to the layer that I want after the labels have been generated. They look ok on my computer screen.
However, when I plot the plans, the labels do not follow the lineweights that the layer should be on. I think it still plotting as if it was layer 0. If I explode the labels, I can get them to plot correctly by changing the layer.

In one of the xref’s there is a linetype that I’m having trouble with (actually I’m not sure if it’s the linetype or a setvar that’s the problem). The line is a polyline. Linetype generation is turned on. LTscale is set correctly. The line is set to display the linetype by layer…not entity. Line weight is set to default. It has a global width of 0.333. Here’s the problem….In the main drawing, I have a layout which has leaders in paper space pointing to the line in the xref. They are touching the line where I want them. THEN…when I print the page….the leaders are no longer pointing to the line. They (the leaders) display correctly but can’t be printed as seen. Not to a PDF, not to a printed page. See below:

UPDATE: It looks like the problem is with the drawing that the xref is attached to....not the xref!

I've just replaced all the color carts in an HP DesignJet 510 42-inch inkjet plotter. I drew some parallel lines in ACAD 2012 to test the colors, and I'm getting weird results. The most noticeable errors are: Yellow prints out at a very pale green and Blue prints at purple. Red and Cyan seem to be ok, as well as Orange... I ran a color calibration on the plotter itself and the yellow prints out a very bright, correct yellow.

I either have bad settings or have found a bug in 2012 when plotting parcels.
I have a P-drain Parcel setting for major drainage areas - I set the display to the C-PROP-BNDY layer which seems to be OOB for the entire 'property'. I create the parcels from poly lines on the P-DRAIN-AREA layer.
The parcels go to the C-PROP layer. My problem is that I can't seem to get the property lines to plot. I try to set C-PROP-BNDY to the correct color, yet when I plot, the lines don't show.

I've just installed Autocad 2013 and everything seems fine apart from that I cannot select my plotter, when i select it, it just goes back to "none". I've had a play around but nothing seems to work.

Since we've migrated to Windows 8 64b we have problems wih plotting some layouts. If I select my plotter it automatically goes to none after selecting and sometimes I get the following error message:
Most of the times I can use the plotter in the other layouts / drawings, but sometimes I have to restart AutoCAD or reboot the computer before the plotter works again. In some layouts we keep getting this problem even after reboot. I've tried reinstalling the plotter (with different drivers), tried different computers, purge and recover the drawings but no luck. The Plotter is a HP Designjet 800.

When I try to add a plotter, I get a message, "No DRC files were found in Autocad 2013 - English drivers directory."
The DRC files are in the DRVen-US directory, and is in my drivers search path. I have even changed the order of the search path to place that directory first, but no joy.

How do I get my CTB file into my plotter manager? It keeps asking for a PC3 or PC2 type file. The plotter style manager creates only a CTB. The old autocad version HAD a "plot style" pic window. this one does not. I want to create a "plotter" that writes PDF's using my CTB file info.

How do I get the built-in PDF plotter quality up to my adobe pdf plotter. I want to do use publisher and make mulitple page pdf's and as I understand it I have to use the built-in plotter to do it. As of right now I have to sperate pages with adobe and then combie them to make a single pdf.
(how the built-in PDF plotter looks)
(How I want to have the built-in plotter look.) Without changing settings in my pdf viewer, I need to be able to send these out to customers.

I just received 2013 lt and want to know the best solution for setting up a HP Designjet 750c Plus to begin plotting. Apparently there is no support from HP for Windows 7 drivers. I'm no expert but what I've read it seems that I can use the HDI driver. Go slow since this i new to me.

I've recently (this morning) come into the issue of the old plot printers being saved in CAD files. I've found a number of tutorials online about adding new pages, and setting the default plotter to "none" via DWGTruView, but these are just shy of what I'm looking for.
Is there any way to tell AutoCad 2013 that if the current/default plotter is "None" to set it to a certain printer? I have about a thousand CAD files that need this change made on them, so obviously a more automated approach would be greatly appriciated. Currently the entire set of them has has their Plotters set to "None", and a custom Page Setup configured.

I'm having issues plotting using dwg to pdf. It prints perfect printing to my printer but when I create a pdf using dwg to pdf it does not print what is previewed.
I created block with solid hatches for my mark/schedule boxes and detail bubbles so I wouldn't have to trim whats behind it.

I have been working with a large scale architectural drawing provided by my cleint's architects. Since I usually work in black on a white screen, I have been working from paperspace with the viewport set to.monochrome. Up until Thursday, whenever I printed to PDF, I would get a monochome image which is what is supposed to happen.
However, In order to provide my client with a colour coded image, I changed some settings and printed a colour PDF. Now I cannot get it to go back to Monochrome. What setting has changed. I opened an earlier version of the same drawing and output a PDF from that drawing - black and white PDF. Try it from the current version of the drawing, it comes out in colour.
I have compared page setup settings, output setting, viewport 'MO' settings, they are all the same. How do I get back to black and white output.

We have been having an issue with this for a long time in hopes of it being fixed in any new release. If I click Diameter and pull it to the OD of hte circle it shows as in the picture which is what we want. If I pull it to the ID it pulls straight from that point and the dimension is not level.
The only way we can fix it is click on it, go to properties, scroll down to text, and in the text rotation box, type 90.1 and hit enter.
Is there if fix for this issue?

In AutoCAD 2011 and 2012 my spell check instantly recognizes a misspelled word as soon as you enter a space after the word as you type.
AutoCAD 2013 does not recognize the misspelling until I go back (still within the text editor) and click on the word. Only then will it show the red underline. This is using Dtext only. Mtext works fine.
For the bad spellers or missed keystrokes, the fast "on the fly" spell checking was great. How to get my AutoCAD 2013 to behave similarly?

how you get objects, say i drew a rectangle, to the correct size from model space to paper space. And why when you change the dimensions of an object to meters from milimeters, does it not change the size of the object on paperspace when it's at the same scale.

I am using Autocad 2D for a drawing, and my lineweight refuses to plot correctly. I didn't use a ctb file, but I changed them by hand each one. Most of them works correctly but some of them not. When I go to the properties window, every of them have the good lineweight, it's when I plot them in pdf file and open them in Adobe reader, some still have the 0mm (wrong lineweight). However they show they are the good size in properties window, but they plot differently.
I just realize that when it shows in adobe reader it shows the wrong lineweight, but if I convert the pdf into a jpeg and open it with windows photo viewer, it shows the correct lineweight.

I have documents from an architect that still hand drafts. I am trying to bring their drawings in via the Snapshot Tool in Adobe Acrobat and pasting into AutoCAD 2013 so I can overlay the structural notes in paperspace. And then send to plot making .pdf files. The thing is, some of the viewports are showing up in the plot and some are not. All settings in the properties pane are the same. All are on Layer 0.

I have a drawing (Drawing A) that contains a PDF (using PDF attach) with text over the PDF. I then have this drawing Xref'd (as overlay and as attachment) into another drawing (Drawing B). When I print this drawing (Drawing B). The text prints but the pdf does not.
In Drawing A the pdf is on the 0 layer.
In Drawing B the pdf is on 0 layer.
The 0 layer is not frozen and is set to print.
The xref in drawing B is set to overlay and relative (I tried absolute).
I can see the pdf in drawing B.
PDFrame is set to 2 in dwg A and B.

We setup a company template to use STB. Not trying to debate if its the right move, we simply did it because the designers grasped the concept of Named Styles rather than color styles.
Here is our setup.
AutoCAD 13 on Windows 7 with Adobe PDF or DWG to PDF
We have an xref'ed drawing of a background. We xref it on Layer XXX_BKGRD with a color of yellow and a Plot Style of Background.
In our STB file we have style named Background set to plot Black. We have Plot object lineweights and plot with plot styles selected. The VP is set to Legacy Hidden.
When we do a plot preview, its all color. No change.

I have a large number of drawings with template details of a printer that is now longer available (we moved offices). I therefore want to write a macro that instead of trying to use the template detailed printer and then failing to the None printer instead goes straight to the new printer (Lanier MPC2500). Once I get this basic task completed I'll then add additional functionality.
The macro at present is:-
^C^C-plot;y;; \mwperdc03LANIER MPC2500;;A3 (297 x 420 mm);m;l;n;l;1:1;0.00,0.00;y;monochrome.ctb;y;n;n;n;n;y;
I also know where it's failing (the first in the path) as this is the macro escape character to enable the user to add information. If I then manually enter (or paste) the link \mwperdc03LANIER MPC2500 into the command line and press enter the rest of the macro executes and I get a print output. I've attached a screenshot of the command line for info.
I've read that instead of using the character in the path I should use the /. I've tried this but it doesn't seem to work.
Is there another method of embedding paths into Autocad LT so this will operate or a better workaround?
I'd thought of using DIESEL but I can't see any suitable commands in the command library.

I have multiple drawings I've been working on that have tif files laid in the background that I have been making my drawings over the top of. In order to make the linework easier to see, both on screen and on plot, I applied a 65% transparency to the layer containing the tif. Everything worked fine, and printing worked great, but when I tried to plot them to pdf, the transparency failed to plot properly. I tried PrimoPDF and the transparency worked, but the paper sizes didn't include Arch D and the plot didn't look as crisp as the one produced by AutoCAD. In the end, I ended up pay $5 per print to have the DWG files processed, because I needed the transparency to plot properly. I would like to figure out what the problem was so that next time I need to send out for prints.

I'm having a problem plotting to pdf (using ScanSoft Pdf Pro 4) causing Autocad Civil 3d: Infrastructure Design Suite.
When I plot in Civil 3d 2009 I have no problems but we recently switched to Autocad Civil 3d: Infrastructure Design Suite and when I try to plot a pdf 24x36 it looks correct in the plot preview but my final pdf size comes out 36x36. I have tried everything I know...
Create a new sheet size
I can't just save as an earlier version and plot in C3d 2009 because my alignments gets screwy.
