I can go to Google Translate and type in a phrase and get it rendered into Arabic, and it looks correct. But when I copy and paste the Arabic characters into Illustrator, the letters that come out (using one of the many Arabic/Farsi fonts I have) aren't the same. It's as if you had "Mary Had A Little Lamb" in Arabic in Google Translate, but when you copy and paste you get "wblwevarrtblempswciartmfe" - total gibberish. I can paste it to a TextEdit file and it looks correct, just not when I paste it into Illustrator.
Here's a screen shot. At the top is a screen shot taken from having pasted it into a TextEdit file. The bottom is the exact same "paste" into Illustrator.
I am using autocad 2000, 2007 and 2013. Once i placed the arabic text with right alignment in my drawing and save and close the drawing. the same drawing if we open in another session/ system those arabic texts are moved towards left without any reason.
But if we double click on the arabic text, then it sit in correct place. What is the resolution for this issue?
I have attached 2 snapshots for ref. one is correct alignment and other is misplaced.
i am trying to plot files that contain arabic font the problem is that i can see it on the screen correctly but when i plot it the letters seem to have spaces between them i tried plotting using different plotter types but it is the same story
I am using AutoCAD LT 2013 and at the moment i am just using the dwg to pdf.pc3 included in AutoCAD.
All of the text in my drawings is the same font (ISOCPAUS). Up until about a week ago, i could plot bold & italic text using the dwg to pdf plotter. Now, I cannot and i don't know what has changed to make this happen. Underlined and overlined text still plots fine to pdf. Everything appears correct in model space, paper space layouts, in previews and if i plot to any of the printers in the office, but once i plot to pdf, the bold and italic is gone.
I'm the IT nerd and haven't used autocad before, but i'm trying to troubleshoot an issue with one of our users who is having this issue. From what I have seen, when he loads a drawing, I can see a whole heap of unidentified object messages down the bottom. The drawing loads, but it's missing all the text (mostly the dimensions).
He's told me that he can load it 4 or 5 times, and it will show up, but it fails more than it works.
I installed acad 2014 and copied all my font files into the directory that cad says it looks in under the support paths, and the main font used is a true text font (penguin) and it is not showing up right.
We have a customer that sends us drawings with Arabic fonts that we sometimes need to edit and insert Arabic fonts. Is this possible in the English version of AutoCAD? If so, how do we go about loading Arabic fonts?
I have a problem with a drawing I have created in AutoCAD LT 2008. The drawing has English text in Arial regular TTF. I have copied Arabic text from a spread sheet, highlighted the English text in Acad and pasted the Arabic over it. The result is good and reads as per the spread sheet.
When I then copy it as a PDF (I have tried several writers for this) and go to the preview page it reads correctly. When I actually create the PDF and open it the text changes from the original and (I am told as I can’t read or speak Arabic) becomes unreadable.
We are doing a drawing with Arabic text and the client keeps saying that it is incorrect. We asked for his font package we installed it and it is still wrong. It seems that we just can't get the text correct what is causing this problem? And what can be done to fix?
I have an assembly drawing that one of the components in the drawing views is not displaying properly.
What I mean by this is other component that are in front of portions of this said part the said part is not showing line segments as hidden or just removed (preferred).
If you look at the image below I have highlighted the portions that are not displaying properly.
I have tried changing the display section under the edit view. The other weird thing is this said part is showing up in the view as phantom lines when the properties clearly show it as a continuous line per the "By Layer" setting.
I am not sure if the LOD's involved speak to this, but this hasn't always been like this and I am not sure what changed it.
I paste Arabic font (a sentence in Arabic in Word for example) onto a text layer in photoshop, it compleatley switches the direction of the text and the sentence doesn't read as it was in word. This leads to us going through a very complicated process of saving it as a pdf and then importing as a vector.
Does anyone know how we just import Arabic text from another document so that PHotoshop (using CS3) renders it the right way around (words and individual 'letters')
I have a background texture which was create in photoshop which I'm trying to display to iOS. I'm converting it to a PNG-24, and when I put it on the phone, the colors don't come out right (it's suppose to be yellow, instead comes our orangey). I've tried following the instructions here [URL]... changing some of the color settings and I still can't get it to work. The file is only 600kb large and is shown below:
I need to edit some arabic text in Illustrator CC but I can not find the "Adobe World-Ready Composers". find out where to set it up or download the plugin?
In CS4 when I zoomed in on an image, the bar at the bottom would show the size of the image now on screen relative to the full size. i.e. if I go from 50% to 100% the bar would be half the size indicating that I am only seeing half the image. At least I think that was the case in CS4.
Here's and example from CS6.
Open an image, choose "Command-0" to make it fill the window, and the percentage is 48.16%. The bar at the bottom is not there, but if it was I assume it would fill the width of the window.I select "Command-+" to zoom in, and the percentage goes to 50%. The bar now fills about 30% of the window width indicating that I have zoomed in a whole lot, but I haven't. There is only a little bit of image on either side not visible, the rest is a huge grey area extending left right, and up and down. How do I make the bar indicate the true amount of zoom, and how do I get rid of that grey area?
Some of the images I have taken with my Olympus 7010 still camera, when opened up in PSPro X, are not showing correctly.A portion of the image is sectioned and the smaller part of the image has moved along horizontally, the effect being that for instance, a person's head is not on the body but further along the image. This only happens now and again but is annoying, the last time 2 out of 24 images were like this. They were loaded on to my pc via the camera's card,in a card reader.
I am working on iphone case packaging that will be printed so my project is in CMYK, all settings in CMYK. The colors on my screen look correct in CMYK but when I send it to the manufacturer it is then printing in a different (similiar) color. Can this be from my screens not being calibrated to CMYK?
I did a few searches for rgb to cmyk converters and I put in the rgb color that looks correct and it spits out a CMYK color that looks far different that the CMYK colors in illustrator. I am using CS6, I could use the converter for now but I would like to see the correct colors in the future if at all possible.
I need to create artwork with Arabic text in it working on a Mac OS x CC. We need to copy from a word document into Illustrator so that it is editable. I can't find how to do this, and I need to get the ME version. Is this true?
FontNav is still not showing all fonts correctly. My screen grab shows FN displaying Cambria without regular which as you can see from the CDraw window behind is definitely there on my system. At least now FN isn't preventing the font styles it can't see being used.
I have the latest update 3 of x6 and have deleted and remade FN's font database. The problem appears both on my Win7 64bit desktop and Win7 32bit laptop.
I have recently converted mtext to multileader text & i thought it was causing some issues but now im not so sure. Some of my users are experiencing a long time to regen & it has caused some peoples computers to freeze up. Is there a setting or a variable that could be causing this? I am not sure if this is an issue with the multileaders or with autocad release 13 or 14 in general. I had the users turn regenauto off until i can find a solution.
I have Adobe Photoshop CS6 (part of Master Collection English-Arabic Enabled) installed on MacBook Pro with Mac OS X Mountain LionI went to Preferences -> Type -> chose Middle East , to enable arabic typing but whenever I choose the Text tool, photoshop freezes, and cpu use reaches 130% ( on Activity Monitor it showed that photoshop using 60% of cpu while "fontd" is up to 70%)I don't know why font daemon is consuming that much of cpu, probably facing problems with building fonts models, I left it for half an hour, but no use.
the corresponding windows version, did not freeze, instead just went alittle quirky heavy for half a minute then back to normal and i was able to use text tool and type in arabic normally
I have this draft with the parameters given. I need to correctly make this a 3D...How do I insert the parameters given, so the draft correctly rise accordingly to the planes?
I have tried unistalling framework 4 and reinstalling using the standalone installer. I have also used the framework clean up tool with no luck. I have tried to repair the installed framework 4 with no success. I have tried all of this with my antivirus turned off and I have tried to use Microsoft fixit along with running Ccleaner registry fix.643 Error.
We have been having an issue with this for a long time in hopes of it being fixed in any new release. If I click Diameter and pull it to the OD of hte circle it shows as in the picture which is what we want. If I pull it to the ID it pulls straight from that point and the dimension is not level.
The only way we can fix it is click on it, go to properties, scroll down to text, and in the text rotation box, type 90.1 and hit enter.
