I have tried unistalling framework 4 and reinstalling using the standalone installer. I have also used the framework clean up tool with no luck. I have tried to repair the installed framework 4 with no success. I have tried all of this with my antivirus turned off and I have tried to use Microsoft fixit along with running Ccleaner registry fix.643 Error.
View 3 RepliesI've created a deployment for AutoCAD2011 x64 to be installed via SCCM. I've followed the instructions to create an SCCM package that were provided on the support website, as well as what comes on the CD. While I'm able to create the install and deliver the package, I get an error when trying to launch the shortcut (AutoCAD 2011 - English).Â
The error is a Microsoft .NET Framework error that states:"Unhandled exception has occurred in your application. If you click Continue, the application will ignore this error and attempt to continue. If you click Quit, the application will close immediately.Access to the path 'C:Program Files Autodesk AutoCAD 2011Migration' is denied.
I went to check on the folder security and realize that the Migration folder doesn't exist.
I am trying to load Map 3D onto this computer. After downloading the Autodesk product from their web site which took hours I would like to try to get this guy up and running before I have to download it all over again.
 I go thru all of the steps of the setup, enter the serial number and key code and get green checks to each of those fields. When installing the program it runs almost to the end and then I get a error 1406 message that says I don't have the use of this key? I bought this computer from a classmate and he did have a DWF viewer on it but I have deleted all of those files. The Map 3D guy still fails to load after clearing out all of the files. I have scouted around on the net and have seen posts where Autocad leaves some files running in the background. How I can get around this error code? I try to run the trial version that needs no serial or key number and the same error code appears.
I am trying to install the student version of autodesk inventor 2011, and I'm using the default installation settings. The installation aborts when installing C++ and this is the message I get in the install log:

We opened a file that was created in 2006 and the Text is missing from the file. I tried to create a new file and when I start typing text, nothing happens.
I installed the service pack update and hot fix and still doesn't work. I've tried re-booting and nothing happens. I tried to go in and migrate the tools from 2006 but it was already done.Â
note, that this has also been installed on another computer and everything worked fine.

View 4 Replies View RelatedI'm having a constant problem with Autocad 2010LT crashing on startup. After clicking on the AutocadLT 2010 icon the program starts to run, I see the start-up screen, and then everything disappears without any notice or error message. Â
I have installed service Updates 1 and 2 as well as the "Startup Error and Text Editing Hotfix". Nothing that I have read on the forums seems to fix the problem. I'm running Windows 7 Professional (64-bit). I should also mention that I have been running this version of the software on this computer without any issues for over 1 year before encoutering this problem.
When installing photoshop CS4 for the first time i get an error, I start the setup then i select to install Photoshop with adobe bridge and when i click install the process begins and when it's almost about to finish i get the following error:

Now when I debug the ribbon tab that I am creating is nowhere to be found, but if i change back to 2.0 and debug, the ribbon tab is back.
Is there a way to display the projection (FL-W83) or Datum (NAD83) of a DWG file in the titleblock? Maybe using fields, or a diesel expression of some sort? I belive the information resides in the .NET framework, how can I get that into my titleblock?

I'm trying to update my newly purchased and installed PhotoShop CS 5.5 on my iMac (less than a year old) using the "Updates" link..I get an error that says, "Update Failed. Updates could not be applied. Unable to write at location "Users/[my computer name]/ Library/Application Support/ Adobe" provide write permissions to this location and try again."I can't tell if it is a PhotoShop issue or a write permission issue on my iMac.

My problem started when I was trying to install one of the CS4 premiums. When I was going through and selecting everything I wanted to install, Photoshop CS4 Extended would not select. Crap. But I decided to try to uninstall it anyway. At the end of the uninstallation it says that there were some errors uninstalling some of the components. "For more information see below." And then there's nothing below. What.
I've tried uninstalling and reinstalling it several times. What the Christ, guys? Am I forever doomed to have an incomplete, non-working Photoshop on my computer? Is there any way I can simply delete all the files and remove it from the registry?
I've downloaded a trial version of Photoshop CS3 but it wont install i keep getting error 1327 invalid drive E:/???? I dont even have a drive E/ I have a drive C:/ for my HD and a drive D:/ for CD's etc.. its doin my head in coz it took like 5hrs to download the trial version and it wont even work.. seems like a waste of time.

I just installed OS 10.6.3 Snow Leopard with no troubles. I am running a CoreDuo iMac with 4 gb RAM and plenty of HD space. I have LR3 on my computer.

I am working for a client on a site where they wish to include links to .dwg files for their designers to download. The links I'm creating are simple (using square brackets instead of standard HTML brackets to illustrate):

The files are simple, 2D CAD drawings saved from AutoCAD 2010 or 2012.
The behavior I expect is the same behavior I might see if I was linking to an executable file or, for example, a .psd file: a dialog box is launched by the browser, prompting the user to save the file or possibly open in an associated piece of software.
The behavior that actually happens (but only in Safari) is that the browser attempts to render the file as a plain-text file, and the gory contents of the file are displayed as a tab in the browser.
I have done some looking around, and I've seen plenty examples of dwg's linked to on websites, and these download just fine, as expected. However, most of these examples that I find are saved in older formats, say 2004 and earlier. So, I tried to save our files as earlier formats, but I still experience the same issue.
Is there some setting I can set or some meta tag in the files I can change so that Safari doesn't think it's a plain-text MIME type? We can just zip the files, but that seems like an unnecessary step that we shouldn't have to do if AutoCAD was saving these files correctly.
Thats pretty much it. While pressing F3 to toggle Osnap, if Ortho is ON it first turns it off and then F3 would toggle Osnap. Â The same thing happens with F8 if Osnap is ON.
I checked out the CUI and for some reazon it had a lot of different shortcuts to toggle Osnap and Ortho, so I thought just keeping F3 and F8 would make it work, but it does the same thing.
i start in a new position for a new company noticed they have several cuix menu files for blocks such as structural shapes and weld symbols. so i loaded the menus with menuload and map to the directory of the blocks reference in the options files tab, but when i select the menu if has the block mapped to a different drive that does not exist. how can i change it to when i select, for say a w6x9 to map to the correct block on the correct drive instead of mapping it to some s: drive the directory structure is correct but the drive letter is not.
