I have seen some very impressive renderings on this site, and would like to give it a try using Autocad 2010. I have done basic renderings before, well mostly shading, just interested how people are getting renderings that look so realistic in Autocad.

View 3 Replies View Relatedwhen i start up Autodesk AutoCAD Architecture 2010 or 2011 (I tried both versions) I get the error message:acad.exe - Application error
The application could not be started correctly (0xc0150002)I searched the internet without any luck, many people have this problem with other programs, but nobody has a solution!
The funny thing is, it worked (2010) then suddenly it stopped working... I uninstalled and reinstalled 2010, didn't work, then I thought lets try the newest version, exactly the same error! Other programs work properly, also other Autodesk programs like Inventor 2008.
Windows is up to date
AutoCAD Architecture is up to date (SP1)
Installed the newest Graphic Driver

How can I do this in Inventor 2012?
Using Inventor 2012. When trying to open a dwg file, Inventor issues a message that it cannot open the template (Standard.idw). When I manually open the Standard.idw template, it loads fine and opens, but Inventor automatically starts online HELP. Is there a way to stop HELP from starting, and is this possibly the cause of the problem with opening a dwg file?

Service cannot be started. The file resolves to a path that is too long. The maximum length is 260 characters. [ File name = C:ProgramDataAutodeskContent ServiceServerContentServiceDBConnect.MetaStore.sdf ]
Obviously that path is NOT over 260 characters.
I am trying the ACAD 2012 demo while I wait for my licensed version disks to come in from Dell.
When I try to run one of the Getting Started videos, AutoCAD LT says:
"Flash version 9.0 or greater is required You have no flash plugin installed"
However, kb2.adobe.com says:
"Your Flash Player Version: 11.1.102.55 Your OS: Windows 7 (64-bit)"
I'm making some ilogic code for my new drawing templates and I'd like run part of the code only when the rule is trigger by the "after open document" trigger. Is there a way to check which trigger started an iLogic rule or would I be stuck making a second rule which is only triggered by the "after open document" trigger?

The objects remain on their own layers, but I am not able to delete the hatch pattern without deleting the boundaries.
I cannot edit the hatch pattern either as the application no longer recognises the hatch pattern.
Have i changed a setting unwittingly?

Is it too late? Is there anyway to change the resolution now?
Considering just copying and pasting all the layers into a new xcf.... it's mostly text boxes, will the old resolution affect this process?
I am having a problem and I am not sure what's the cause but I think that it is related to gamut. I recently noticed that some colors started to show as black instead of their original color. for example if I open a new document and set it's background to #00ce57 I see it in black instead of neon green.
when changing the color mode to 32 bit I see the correct color and also when I am turning on gamut warning all the black color turns into gray.

why an action that was working perfectly has suddenly started screwing up, royally?It's an action I bought on a digital scrapbooking site. Never could get it to work in PSE but was delighted that it was working in PS. Today, though, it just began malfunctioning. I have my doubts as to how reliable some of these actions are from these digiscrapping people.
Could I have accidentally done something to mess it up? I haven't done anything lately except download some patterns and brushes from a very reliable source.I doubt I even have the zip files anymore. I had pretty much given up on this action working...until I bought CS5.5 and voila!

I have written a script to create each card and i can load the variables into my javascript using: newCard.importVariables(new File(xmlPath));I now need to access the data in the datasets in order to populate the card.

View 1 Replies View RelatedI've got HD sources in a SD timeline with some comps done on the desktop. all fine . I want to resize the timeline to somewhere between SD and HD but.
Trial1. create new Timeline at new resolution, copy all edits from SD TL and insert in new TL.. this doesn't work because there's a bug and all the edits reset themselves to 0 frames of head i.e. slips all the edits.
Trial2.. save edit in the library and reformat it to the new resolution, i don't know what goes wrong here but it doesn't work.
Is there a folder/file where illustrator stores unsaved/recovered documents that I can open/run manually?
View 1 Replies View RelatedUnder 'Edit' I clicked on 'new catalogue' and named the new catalogue 'Lightroom Sanbonani'. I am not too sure what I did after this (maybe pressed the 'enter' key) but suddenly Lightroom closed down. When I re-opened Lightroom, I saw that all of my photos that were on the left hand side in date folders had disappeared, INCLUDING all of my 'Collections' and work that I had done on the photographs.
The photos are obviously all in my 'backups' folder on my harddrive, but all of the work that I had done in adjusting the photographs in Lightroom are no longer to be seen. I now have to do the adjustments all over again.
Why did I 'lose' all of my photographs inside Lightroom?
Using Premiere Pro CS6, I'm trying to figure out why it's doing this:
I imported a video into a new sequence and made sure to match the sequence settings with the video's. I do some basic editing (not adding more video or anything like that) but when I choose to export media and have it match the sequence settings, the video appears to have the exact same attributes as the original video (minus my changes) except the file size is 2-5x larger.
