AutoCAD 2013 installed as expected but I can not run the Flash based introduction movies.
I am a new to AutoCAD, have never used to program before and would like to switching the "preferences" (which I can't find) to a better browser like Google Chrome.
Suggestion for Autodesk: Please dump IE in favor or propper browsers. IE has never and will never work properly.
In conclusion: How can I get the Flash videos to work. Where do I register the software?
Because of the above issues, I've installed AutoCAD 2013 on my iMac and everything is running as expected. I am more of a Linux/OS X user and have limited experience with Microsoft products.
When I import a short AVCHD or MPG (~ 1 min., 100 mb) into Premiere Pro CS6 or After Effects CS6, it plays great. When I import the same file into Photoshop CS6 on the same computer, it's jerky, even with sound off, frame skipping enabled, cached, and no other applications running.
System is a Core i7 with 8 gb RAM, 1.5 gb nVidia GeForce, Win 7 x64 and DirectX 11. All drivers ruthlessly updated.
Just reinstalled Civil 3D and the little ribbon videos no longer work - latest Flash is installed..(No connection with Autodesk other than using the products in the real world)

Will 3D Studio Max/AutoDesk provide a path to the web? Is Scaleform that plan?
AutoDesk has concentrated on high-end cinematic and gaming markets, leaving lowly web productions to Swift 3D, Papervision and Away3D. I've looking for Autodesk's response for years. In my opinion it's Time to piggy back on the soon to be released Flash Player 11 3D Plug-in. Flash has a 99% web penetration and multi-platform delivery system (save the Iphone). But beyond the Flash Player 11 3D support, Autodesk needs to respond to Adobe.
Flash Player 11 codename Molehill has 3D baked in. This will give a 3D interface on multiple platforms. BTW, Adobe is also plunging into 3D, in it's graphics programs, e.g. photoshop - OK not the same I know. However, I can understand why AutoDesk wouldn't want to play with Adobe. Adobe has begun to seriously compete with other AutoDesk arena's (film editing).
But if AutoDesk has decided to not play on the web, or try to create a competing plug-in they’re making a strategic mistake. If you don't play you can't win. A competing plugin will never get the penetration -- just ask Unity3D. Which leaves working with Adobe. Which is kind of like practicing on the apposing team’s field. Waiting any further for hardware or HTML5 and SVG is just not smart.
Is there any news on porting Max content to SVG? I know Unity3D is porting their tool set. I read Unreal is also porting its engine.
I have an SD Pioneer dvd player...model dv-49av. It plays all commercial DVD fine, but never a DVD I burn from VS. However, any DVD I burn from Corel plays perfectly in my Pioneer 23fd bluray player.
Anything I can do to change this? The disk type (-r, +r etc.) doesn't matter and the DVD that won't play plays fine on the computer. The disk loads fine, but when I select play the video or chapter it just locks up and I have to restart the player.
After a complete computer format, I was able to make cs6 work. Then I started experiencing slowdowns again. What had I installed that was not ok? Well, turns out that restoring my pc to a point right before the installation of Adobe Reader fixed everything. And I have the same problems if I go on a webpage where Flash Player is working.
I have been happily using this program for a few weeks and have nice movies and view well on PC. Only problem I find is being able to save a Movie to dvd to play on a dvd player. The only way I can do it is to save the movie as a video file and then burn to disc using Windows DVD Maker. As far as I can see I have tried all options on Video Studio, and have had no success at all.
I have a Pioneer DV-49AV DVD player. It will play any/all commercially produced DVD but none that are produced in Vstudio. The main menu will display fine, but pressing the button to go to the chapters or play will hang the unit.
I also have a Pioneer BDP-23FD blue ray player and the same Vstudio DVDs play just peechy. Is there some Vstudio compatibility switch that I need to enable prior to burning?
Recently upgraded from X2 to X4 (via box version). Created one DVD-V and one AVCHD (with -R disc) both only play on pc but not on any stand alone dvd player with "Unknown disk" error. Using the same Pioneer burner which created playable DVD-V before by X2. Did I miss some setting in X4? Another problem is with the AVCHD disc. Laptop won't play the menu at all. Had to go to the stream file and find the video content.
I'm using Video Studio Pro X4. I'm just trying to make a simple, first movie and failing. I have a Sony HD Handycam that produces .m2ts files. I just want to be able to create HD movies that I can play on generic software on my tv. So I assumed I could create an MPG file and play it using Windows Media Player 11. After rendering an MPG file, I get no audio output.
- I imported the .m2ts files into VS - Put two short clips in the timesline. - Basic transition. - Share -> Create Video File -> HDV (tried all options) - I create the MPG file and I get no sound on playback using Media Player
I would think this is the most basic thing I could possibly be doing and it doesn't work. I am using an underpowered XP laptop, but I would think that would just be a speed issue. I'll get a better desktop for editing, but if I can't perform the most basic of tasks now I'm thinking it's a software issue.
i am using 3ds max design 2011 for making architectural walk through s,i usually render the frame at 740*576 size(300 dpi)and save as tiff sequence.then i will make avi file in after effects(with out any compression). After that when i play the whole movie, the movie will not go smoothly its getting jerks.what the wrong i am doing.i tried with 15 frames per sec and 30 frames per sec.
when I'm in the MediaHub, using the player there, clicking on the play button will start playback but it does not stop it like it does in the other players. I would expect it to behave just like the play button in the Source/Record Viewers.
Autodesck Exchange opens when we launch AutoCad. When any page displays with videos, there is a message that Flash is not installed. None of the videos play. Flash is installed and we re-installed it.
I've got LR5 and I started with a completely new catalog, so no migration of anything old.I have lots of video clips from my GH3 but every time I try to play one in the Library it doesn't play. I look at Task Manager and dynamiclinkmediaserver.exe is pegged at close to 100% CPU usage and using 500MB of memory.
I get the following error (in the event log) when C3D 2012 starts:
Service cannot be started. The file resolves to a path that is too long. The maximum length is 260 characters. [ File name = C:ProgramDataAutodeskContent ServiceServerContentServiceDBConnect.MetaStore.sdf ]
I'm using the Flash - Gallery 1 that came with Photoshop CS2. Is there a (hopefully easy) way to get the gallery to automatically play the slideshow when a user visits the page (instead of clicking the play button)?
I am running the elements 9 I have downloaded my pictures and video from my Canon camera the pictures I can view but the videos will not play or cannot be viewed , an error states the compression or a non compatability. What I have to add or download to allow me to view , edit and share my pictures and videos.
I cannot get the Adobe TV videos to play--even the ones in my library--all I get is a black screen--I have been ay from Adobe TV for several months--what has changed and how can I view the videos?
I really like Smoke, I've tried pre-release and I've noticed there is no realtime playback. I have pretty fast machine, MBP, 17, 1920x1200, SSD, 16Gb Ram, 2.3 Ghz (early 2011), AMD 1GB, but still it seems too slow for Smoke?
optimize it for laptops, because 50% of users siting on laptops.
I wanted to go through all of the Essentials videos for Inventor (URL... ) but every single link listed for the Essentials is broken. Is there another place I can find them?
I have seen some very impressive renderings on this site, and would like to give it a try using Autocad 2010. I have done basic renderings before, well mostly shading, just interested how people are getting renderings that look so realistic in Autocad.
I'm trying to get started with iLogic, but I have no coding background and no VBA experience in Inventor, so I'm looking for a good site or resource that explains iLogic and gives working examples.
I have opened Vault for the first time and I don't know how to access it, it wants a username/password/server/database. I am one of two people in the company how use inventor etc so there is no existing server/database within my company so I assume i have to set one up?
when i start up Autodesk AutoCAD Architecture 2010 or 2011 (I tried both versions) I get the error message:acad.exe - Application error
The application could not be started correctly (0xc0150002)I searched the internet without any luck, many people have this problem with other programs, but nobody has a solution!
The funny thing is, it worked (2010) then suddenly it stopped working... I uninstalled and reinstalled 2010, didn't work, then I thought lets try the newest version, exactly the same error! Other programs work properly, also other Autodesk programs like Inventor 2008.
Windows is up to date AutoCAD Architecture is up to date (SP1) Installed the newest Graphic Driver
