I am running the elements 9 I have downloaded my pictures and video from my Canon camera the pictures I can view but the videos will not play or cannot be viewed , an error states the compression or a non compatability. What I have to add or download to allow me to view , edit and share my pictures and videos.
View 1 RepliesWhen I import a short AVCHD or MPG (~ 1 min., 100 mb) into Premiere Pro CS6 or After Effects CS6, it plays great. When I import the same file into Photoshop CS6 on the same computer, it's jerky, even with sound off, frame skipping enabled, cached, and no other applications running.
System is a Core i7 with 8 gb RAM, 1.5 gb nVidia GeForce, Win 7 x64 and DirectX 11. All drivers ruthlessly updated.
I get messages that my media player will not read the video tutorials.

View 16 Replies View RelatedI've got LR5 and I started with a completely new catalog, so no migration of anything old.I have lots of video clips from my GH3 but every time I try to play one in the Library it doesn't play. I look at Task Manager and dynamiclinkmediaserver.exe is pegged at close to 100% CPU usage and using 500MB of memory.

View 2 Replies View RelatedI have saved a psd file as jpg using File -> Save as.
Also tried: File -> Save for web.
When I look at the newly saved jpg file in photoshop the colors are great.
When I look at the same jpg file in Firefox or Internet explorer the file look bleached (a lot lighter in color).
How do I save the image for view on web, and then make sure the colors match more closely to the original file?
To manually correct for the missing colors would be a lot of work, and I hope there is an automated way of doing this?

I am trying the ACAD 2012 demo while I wait for my licensed version disks to come in from Dell.
When I try to run one of the Getting Started videos, AutoCAD LT says:
"Flash version 9.0 or greater is required You have no flash plugin installed"
However, kb2.adobe.com says:
"Your Flash Player Version: 11.1.102.55 Your OS: Windows 7 (64-bit)"
I really like Smoke, I've tried pre-release and I've noticed there is no realtime playback. I have pretty fast machine, MBP, 17, 1920x1200, SSD, 16Gb Ram, 2.3 Ghz (early 2011), AMD 1GB, but still it seems too slow for Smoke?

I just installed AutoCAD 2013 under Windows 8
AutoCAD 2013 installed as expected but I can not run the Flash based introduction movies.
I am a new to AutoCAD, have never used to program before and would like to switching the "preferences" (which I can't find) to a better browser like Google Chrome.
Suggestion for Autodesk: Please dump IE in favor or propper browsers. IE has never and will never work properly.
In conclusion: How can I get the Flash videos to work. Where do I register the software?
Because of the above issues, I've installed AutoCAD 2013 on my iMac and everything is running as expected. I am more of a Linux/OS X user and have limited experience with Microsoft products.
Why are photos viewed in Windows much darker than when viewed in Elements?
View 1 Replies View RelatedIf I copy a bunch of pictures from PSE 10 & then load them into a tablet (galaxy tab 2 10.1) should all of the Tags still have all of the EXIF data & tag information from PSE? The reason that I ask is because I looked at a few picture copied this way & the tablet gives the choice of displaying things like where picture taken,presumably from GPS data as well as by date taken etc?
I can call up some picture with where taken but none that would have used other tags.
When I open a file from PSE 11 Organizer in ACR 7.4, make my edits and hit done, the edits made in the Detail tab are not reflected when the file is viewed in PSE 11 Organizer. I had this problem a while back and found a thread that provided a cache or directory change that fixed the problem.

I can bring up yesterday's work and continue to work on the action run, however, when I closed that out and went to another project, I was unable to run any action loaded. I deleted the actions and re-entered turning off the computer after each action loaded. Still would not work. I finally uninstalled 11 and then re-installed it. Still no luck. Are ACTIONS suppose to be a preset folder? I don't have a preset Actions folder in my program files...not even after I re-installed.

View 5 Replies View RelatedI just upgraded from Photoshop Elements 9 to PSE 12. (Oddly PSE remains installed which was unexpected. Most apps that I upgrade replace their previous version). When I try to use the slideshow feature, usually while displaying the first photo, the program crashes. (It gives the error that the Organizer is closing.)
My OS is Windows 7 64-bit. Running as Admin makes no difference.
Other features - general navigation and editing are working OK. PSE 9 does not crash during a slideshow on the same machine.
Slideshow is one of my most commonly used features so I'm not impressed that I spent $80 to get a worse experience.
I've created a slide show and have attempted to insert an audio mp3 file. Audio file shows that it has been added to slide show but it wil not play.
I've added the mp3 multiple ways, by using the add media -- audio from element organizer as well as by add media ---audio from file but it won't play
MP3 plays fine when I click on it from the organizer.
I've tested the mp3's that came with elements 11 and they play fine. What's the deal?

When I create a show and burn a DVD and play it on the TV the stills are so fuzzy it hurts my eyes to lool at them. The video segments are crystal clear and sharp. Once in awhile the still photos come out clear.

View 7 Replies View RelatedJust upgraded to Photoshop and Premiere Elements 12. Decided to use Elements Organizer for the first time starting with a completely new Catalog.
I selected a subset of my photos to just check it out -- a folder with 3 subfolders. I am certain there are zero duplicates in my Windows file structure. After "Get Photos and Videos" "From Files and Folders..." the import occured quickly but all 3 subfolders were duplicated under "My Folders". Photos were also duplicated.
It's not too bad that My Folder shows dupes but the images are considered 100% different between. For example, if I tag 1 photo, the same one in the duplicate folder still needs tagged. I should not need to run a duplicate image search either when the source folder contains no duplicates. This is really disconcerting as I have nearly 20K photos (I scanned every photo my mom and dad took from the past 30 years). Cleanup of false dupes in something that large is just rediculous.
Is this a bug? May-be an intentional function of the program?
