I have Premier Elements and Photoshop Elements. The videos in Pemier Elements play ok and when I click on them Windows Media Player plays them ok, but the Organizer in Photoshop says I don't have the right decompression software to display them.

Not in pse my videos will preview when i double click but they do so in windows media player. How do i get quicktime to work in pse? In pse i get a notice that some files are not assigned to quicktime. It says do i want to assign them to quicktime and i say yes.

Unfortunately PE 11 Organizer doesn't seem to see those on import? Any suggestions on how to make that happen? I am looking for ways to search for video clips and import the search results into Premiere Elements. Unfortunately there is no direct way to go from Bridge to Premiere Elements either.

View 4 Replies View RelatedHow do I transfer the entire organizer of Elements 9 to the empty organizer in Elements 12? By the way, Elements 9 is so defective, it will not even let me back up my organizer in 9. The 9 organizer would let me select a photo, bring it into the editor, print it and then it would crash... then I had to start all over again... the darn thing crashes as it was prone to problems that adobe ignored. Is it better to just re-load all the photos from a fresh folder that is on my desktop? There are 5,000 !
View 1 Replies View RelatedI'm using PE9. Every time I go to the Organizer (even after switching to another program briefly) the Update box appears, searching Watched Folders for new pics. It always finds them, frequently the same, imports them and then tells me they're already in the Organizer. During this process, which may last 5-15 minutes, I can't use the program.

View 5 Replies View RelatedI just upgraded from PSE 6 to PSE 11 but I can't use email for sharing either as attachments or photo mail. It all worked great in PSE 6 before I decided to upgrade this week. My OS is Vista. I checked the registry and my default is correctly set to Windows Mail, however Windows Mail is not an option in the PSE 11 Preferences Sharing set up. The only options that currently show up are only Outlook or Adobe Email Service. I tried the Adobe Email Service since Windows mail didn't appear in the drop down. I got the confirmation code but PSE 11 still freezes up and is not able to complete the email process.

When I create a show and burn a DVD and play it on the TV the stills are so fuzzy it hurts my eyes to lool at them. The video segments are crystal clear and sharp. Once in awhile the still photos come out clear.

View 1 Replies View RelatedJust upgraded to Photoshop and Premiere Elements 12. Decided to use Elements Organizer for the first time starting with a completely new Catalog.
I selected a subset of my photos to just check it out -- a folder with 3 subfolders. I am certain there are zero duplicates in my Windows file structure. After "Get Photos and Videos" "From Files and Folders..." the import occured quickly but all 3 subfolders were duplicated under "My Folders". Photos were also duplicated.
It's not too bad that My Folder shows dupes but the images are considered 100% different between. For example, if I tag 1 photo, the same one in the duplicate folder still needs tagged. I should not need to run a duplicate image search either when the source folder contains no duplicates. This is really disconcerting as I have nearly 20K photos (I scanned every photo my mom and dad took from the past 30 years). Cleanup of false dupes in something that large is just rediculous.
Is this a bug? May-be an intentional function of the program?
Only photo's and not video's download from my Sony camera into Adobe Photoshop Elements 12. Why? And how do I download video's from my camera into Adobe Photoshop Elements !2.

When I go to "Import from Camera or Card Reader" option and choose my phone from the "Get photos from" drop down menu in "Source" section the "Photo downloaded" finds every single photo and/or video stored on the device and it's memory card but I'm trying to import only photos and/or videos I've shot my self with the phone, witch is kept in an folder named DCIM, but I simply can't figure out how to so my question is: How do I import photos and/or videos from my Android device?

When I go to Elements organizer, a little box comes up saying "restoring people recognition data". It shows that it has run to 22% but then stops and I have to close out the photoshop program because I can't do anything else with it.This is a brand new, expensive, program. I've had Adobe Photoshop 8 since it first came out and had no problem. I see by the chat line that the Organizer (Adobe 12) has had problems since 2009....
