View 2 Replies View RelatedI own Adobe Premiere ELements 11 and Adobe Photosho Elements 11, Nikon D90 for stills and Canon HD 53x for digital video. When I create a show and burn a DVD and play it on the TV the stills are so fuzzy it hurts my eyes to lool at them. The video segments are crystal clear and sharp. Once in awhile the still photos come out clear.
View 1 Replies View RelatedJust upgraded to Photoshop and Premiere Elements 12. Decided to use Elements Organizer for the first time starting with a completely new Catalog.
I selected a subset of my photos to just check it out -- a folder with 3 subfolders. I am certain there are zero duplicates in my Windows file structure. After "Get Photos and Videos" "From Files and Folders..." the import occured quickly but all 3 subfolders were duplicated under "My Folders". Photos were also duplicated.
It's not too bad that My Folder shows dupes but the images are considered 100% different between. For example, if I tag 1 photo, the same one in the duplicate folder still needs tagged. I should not need to run a duplicate image search either when the source folder contains no duplicates. This is really disconcerting as I have nearly 20K photos (I scanned every photo my mom and dad took from the past 30 years). Cleanup of false dupes in something that large is just rediculous.
Is this a bug? May-be an intentional function of the program?

View 1 Replies View RelatedI just bought Photoshop Elements 11 recently and I'm trying to import photos and videos from my phone, Samsung Galaxy SIII, but having a little trouble.
When I go to "Import from Camera or Card Reader" option and choose my phone from the "Get photos from" drop down menu in "Source" section the "Photo downloaded" finds every single photo and/or video stored on the device and it's memory card but I'm trying to import only photos and/or videos I've shot my self with the phone, witch is kept in an folder named DCIM, but I simply can't figure out how to so my question is: How do I import photos and/or videos from my Android device?
I've just upgraded to PSE12 and it works fine in most instances. Howver when I try to create a slideshow from a selection of photos it simply stops working and then crashes. Is this a common occurrence?
View 2 Replies View RelatedWhen creating .WMV from a slideshow in Organizer (11), the photographs aren't showing up. They seem fine in the slideshow, but when I output to .WMV I get the audio but not the pics. I have done this many times before and it has worked fine, not sure why it isn't working now.
I am trying to take these to Premier Elements to create a DVD with menus. If I take the slideshow/project, rather than a .WMV, it tells me it doesn't like .jpg and I get some black frames. In the past, if I created .WMVs.
I have a Dell XPS 8500 with i7 3rd gen processor, 32 gb memory, 2 tb hard drive, AMD radeon 7800 video card, Windows 8, 64 bit. half way through the creation process the program stops and closes, after the first time losing everything I started saving the project every few minutes but it continues to crash. my PC is 2 months old and the drivers are up to date, what gives?

View 1 Replies View RelatedI am using Photoshop Elements 10, and in Organiser I am creating a photo slide show, but when I come to burn the slideshow to a DVD, Help seems to indicate that I can only burn the slideshow using the Premier edition.
View 3 Replies View RelatedIt seems pretty simple to just select a few pictures from the organizer, select create, select slideshow. A box comes up asking my preferences and when I say OK, the program freezes.
View 9 Replies View Relatedonce I click OK, my program freezes up... I can still use other programs on my computer. photoshop elements 10 freezes when creating slideshow from album.
By relaunching Organizer, I mean close Elements Organizer and Editor if they are open > Delete both the files I mentioned earlier > NOw open the organizer again. Attach the screenshot of the preferences dialog that comes up when you go for creating slideshow?
How do I add photos & reorganize photos in a slideshow in photoshop elements 11?
View 1 Replies View RelatedI am putting together a slideshow for my son's high school graduation and I've scanned lots of old photos (as JPEGs) into my computer. They are, of course, all different sizes and my question is what size or ratio do I use when I crop/resize them in Photoshop so that they will be uniform and the right size for a slide show?

View 1 Replies View RelatedI'm using PSE 10 with Windows 7, and I'd like to change the formatting of the captions on the photos I've got in slide shows, and those I'd like to print, i.e., change fonts, size, centered, etc. I've checked various manuals, online sources, and haven't found info on this.

I am trying to make a slide show of photos for my brother's funeral. The photos will be shown on a screen at the church and on a TV monitor at home. I was used to Photoshop 4, but had purchased but not really used Photoshop Elements 10. I am about 1000 miles away from home so I cannot go back to try to using Photoshop 4 which is not on this laptop. I don't think I want to change (i.e. resample) the pixels, etc.
I have put into order all of the photos. However, the photos are of varying sizes. The photos taken digitally are fine. However, I have a lot of photos take a long time ago for like 3X3 or 2X3, i.e. like in the 50's - 90's, which were scanned. Then provided to me in a variety of ways. Coming to me they are small on the page. ie like in one corner. I am not trying to shrink these photos. I am trying to resize them larger. And probably get rid of most of the white background.
I have been on the phone for a few hours to Adobe but they are stil investigating. When I produce a slide show using Elements 11 the pictures are no way near as clear as they appear in the folders. I just want to show my pictures without them looking like crap. They were taken using the highest quality photo on the camera, which is a new Nikon and look great when viewing through Elements Organiser. They also look amazing in the original source, eg My Pictures files. When making slide show it asks the quality and I select high.

View 1 Replies View RelatedI have a Windows 7 computer and use Photoshop Elements 9 and Premiere Elements 9. I recently completed a slideshow that contains about 360 photos, many or all of which exceed the maximum size of 1000 x 750 pixels. Is there any way that I can easily reduce the pixel size of each of the photos? If upgrading to the most recent versions of Photoshop Elements and Premiere Elements would accomplish this I would be willing to do this.

View 9 Replies View RelatedI have created numerous posters in the past on an older version of PS. I am currently using Elements 11. I need to make 13 different posters for a team party by Thursday evening. I want to make 11x14 posters using a photo in the background, and add 4 small ones to it. I put hours into creating these posters, and when I had them printed, the large photo was fine, but the smaller ones are very blurry. I have never had this problem when I have done these in the past......I could understand the big photo getting pixely, but the small ones are usually very sharp.

View 6 Replies View RelatedI have been using VS X5 to create DVDs and ISOs from MPEG2 clips that are 30-60 minutes in length, so I end up with one clip per DVD. Now I'm in the process of taking approx. 60 MPEG2 clips, which were originally VHS and VHS-C movies of my kids at various events, and creating 60 minute DVDs and/or ISOs. The MPEG2 clips range in length from 2 to 20 min. When creating the DVDs/ISOs, I want to include the who, where, and when information prior to the video clip. My current thought is to create a timeline in the following format: Title1, Clip1, Title2, Clip2, etc. I would add chapter markers at the start of each title. Once I have approx. 60 minutes on a timeline I would create menus and DVDs/ISOs.
I create a movie file from each MPEG2 that includes content info and use these movie files when creating the DVD/ISO.
One thing that is slowing me down is that all my photos and videos are on a Western DIgital NAS box that I can access with fairly decent performance. I want to leave them there as I have them all organised how I want them. I have a 64-bit Windows 7 laptop with 4GB RAM and Intel Core i5 processor and access the NAS box via a Wireless-N connection on the laptop via a Netgear Wireless-N router.
When I add a video or photo I get a lag (more notably the videos) but worse is selecting a video after importing it into a library. It can take a good 10-30 seconds before I can continue using VideoStudio. Is there anyway I can reduce this lag selecting videos or is my only option to copy videos to my laptop?
I had this problem in LR3 so I decided to upgrade to LR4 thinking it will be better but same result. I can't import at all. Import Photos and Videos Button in the dropdown is grayed out. Import button is also grayed out! I can't do anything!
By the way, I'm using Mountain Lion.
I like keeping my videos in a separate directory from my images so they are easy to find and stream with media center. Is there a way to import both images and video from a card at the same time and have the videos go to a different directory than the images?
