View 1 RepliesAt first, I wasn't able to open .nef files from my Nikon D800E. I then realized that I needed to update my camera raw installers. The available versions were 6.5, 6.6, and 6.7 from the adobe website. I also downloaded the Adobe App Manager as it was required to install the updates. The downloading process for all 3 versions worked fine. However, when I tried to install using the adobepatchinstaller, it didn't work. And I tried on all version individually. They all gave me the same message: not the right patch.

View 2 Replies View RelatedI own Adobe Premiere ELements 11 and Adobe Photosho Elements 11, Nikon D90 for stills and Canon HD 53x for digital video. When I create a show and burn a DVD and play it on the TV the stills are so fuzzy it hurts my eyes to lool at them. The video segments are crystal clear and sharp. Once in awhile the still photos come out clear.

I selected a subset of my photos to just check it out -- a folder with 3 subfolders. I am certain there are zero duplicates in my Windows file structure. After "Get Photos and Videos" "From Files and Folders..." the import occured quickly but all 3 subfolders were duplicated under "My Folders". Photos were also duplicated.
It's not too bad that My Folder shows dupes but the images are considered 100% different between. For example, if I tag 1 photo, the same one in the duplicate folder still needs tagged. I should not need to run a duplicate image search either when the source folder contains no duplicates. This is really disconcerting as I have nearly 20K photos (I scanned every photo my mom and dad took from the past 30 years). Cleanup of false dupes in something that large is just rediculous.
Is this a bug? May-be an intentional function of the program?

When I go to "Import from Camera or Card Reader" option and choose my phone from the "Get photos from" drop down menu in "Source" section the "Photo downloaded" finds every single photo and/or video stored on the device and it's memory card but I'm trying to import only photos and/or videos I've shot my self with the phone, witch is kept in an folder named DCIM, but I simply can't figure out how to so my question is: How do I import photos and/or videos from my Android device?
Since installing Video Studio Pro X5 and keeping my previous version (V.S .11+) installed as well,I am unable to open downloaded videos with X5.It is not available as an option even when I browse for it.I have to open it with VS11+ and then import it into X5.

However, when I open my photos( I have a Canon Rebel T2i so the file extension is .CR2), it says, "processing Camera RAW file" and then opens the photo in the full edit mode instead of the Camera RAW dialog box. I checked my plug-in, and I have version 6.7 of the Camera RAW plug in. I'd really like to start working with Camera RAW! View 12 Replies View RelatedI down loaded a movie from a COOLPIX AW100 camera to PRO X4, it is a *.mov file, in AVC, MPG4, 29.97 frames/sec format.
When I ran it, it appeared to be jumpy, so I when went frame by frame, I noticed there were duplicate frames at the points were the hesitation occurred.
I have no problems with my FZ100 clips in H246/MPG4 .
A strange thing happens when I view it in WINDOWS MEDIA PLAYER, it has NO duplicate frames, and appears smooth.
I wish to import a mixture of Images and videos taken in date sequence by my camera. img and avi.
They import into the library but sort automatically by name or by type (effectivly the same) But when I select sort by date (to get them into the sequence in which they were taken) nothing happens.How to do this? Or does the function not work?
The video I will produce needs to be in date/time order. Is it just that the "time" is not used in the sort and everything taken in one day will not be sorted in chronological order?
Is there a procedural way to download my photos to LR3 instead of Image Capture on my iMAC? I had Apple Store Geniuses fix the Safe Mode problem (which i posted in a different thread) so when I got home and tried to download my photos from the CF card reader it showed up in the Image Capture screen but not in LR3. I had the CF card reader attached to the computer's USB port before turning on the computer.
Should I have turned on the computer first and then open LR3 before connecting the card reader? My guess is that because LR3 was not opened first, the downloading went somewhere else.
I'm trying to edit multiple camera videos on main and overlay tracks switching between them. I cannot seem to be able to leave a gap on the main video track at all whether ripple is on or off. What do I do to leave a gap in the main video track (with the video at that point in the overlay)?
Also I noticed the Track Manager has a greyed drop down to add video tracks. Is there a higher priced version to have more video tracks as opposed to overlay tracks?
