Photoshop :: How To Retrieve Pictures Downloaded From Samsung Camera
Sep 2, 2013
I downloaded pictures from a Samsung camera, and now I can't retrieve pictures, because a message keep popping-up stating that the registration for Photoshop expired, how can I retrieve my photos.
At first, I wasn't able to open .nef files from my Nikon D800E. I then realized that I needed to update my camera raw installers. The available versions were 6.5, 6.6, and 6.7 from the adobe website. I also downloaded the Adobe App Manager as it was required to install the updates. The downloading process for all 3 versions worked fine. However, when I tried to install using the adobepatchinstaller, it didn't work. And I tried on all version individually. They all gave me the same message: not the right patch.
Only photo's and not video's download from my Sony camera into Adobe Photoshop Elements 12. Why? And how do I download video's from my camera into Adobe Photoshop Elements !2.
I'm trying to retrieve a Camera Object for the "Home View", without setting the view to Home.
I use the "UserInteractionDisabled=true" in a addin to make sure the user doesn't mess with the inventor while my addin is doing some time consuming work.
When documents are open in this mode, the view is set to front. The only way I have found to get the camera for Home View, is to use the GoHome method on the ActiveView, but this is slow since it is running an animation...
Roughly im doing the following:
Inventor.UserInterfaceManager.UserInteractionDisabled = true;Document invDoc = Inventor.Documents.Open("c:\somefile.ipt");View v = invDoc.Views[1];v.GoHome(); //would like to not do this, it is animatingCamera cam = v.Camera;//cam.ViewOrientationType = ViewOrientationTypeEnum.kDefaultViewOrientation; //<- this will fail.. Point eye = cam.Eye; Vector up = cam.UpVector.AsVector();Point target = cam.Target;
Is it possible to get the Camera object for Home with "going" home?
I down loaded a movie from a COOLPIX AW100 camera to PRO X4, it is a *.mov file, in AVC, MPG4, 29.97 frames/sec format.
When I ran it, it appeared to be jumpy, so I when went frame by frame, I noticed there were duplicate frames at the points were the hesitation occurred.
I have no problems with my FZ100 clips in H246/MPG4 .
A strange thing happens when I view it in WINDOWS MEDIA PLAYER, it has NO duplicate frames, and appears smooth.
Where do pictures go after they are automatically deleted from your camera after a download? I thought I imported them into my Adobe Photoshop Elements but it failed and then it deleted them automatically from my camera card! I need these pictures back!
Was just trying to view pictures from my camera in Bridge and more than half of them in this one directory aren't showing thumbnails or EXIF data, just the CR2 icon and incorrect creation date and time (they were all shot the same day, most within minutes of each other, yet they're a week off). If I double click on the icon, the image opens up correctly in the CR2 plug-in. They worked before, I've opened and closed Bridge and PS, I've purged the cache, but it's still not working.
I just purchased a Nikon D7100 and after taking some pictures I tried to load them on Photoshop Elements 11. When doing so I got an error message stating "Nothing was imported. The files or folders selected for importing did not contain any supported file types ot the files are already in this catalog" (they aren't already in the catalog.
I cannot upload pictures from my camera, Canon 7D, into Pnotoshop 10. I recently had Photoshop 7 and had no problems. I do seem to be able to upload pics from a thumbdrive.
I am trying to load new pictures on my hp with my cannon camara, but now it states "wait, locating device", what has happend within the last several days to prevent from loading new photos.
I am unable to import pictures from my camera or any other location. The following message appears:"Import Results..Some import operations were not performed.
The following files were not imported because they could not be read (1):..I tried this and does not work
"Generally, when things work at first and then suddenly stop working, the problem is with the preference files. These tell Lightroom how to behave and if something goes wrong with them, it tells the program to behave in a way that causes errors.
We'll want to recreate the preference file. Simply delete, rename, or move the file while Lightroom is closed and then reopen. On launch, Lightroom attempts to read this file for instructions, if it not there a new one is created with all default settings.
Is there anyway to adjust CS4 and Photoshop so it can work with a 23" Samsung Widescreen monitor so the image does not distort? The user has it set for 1024 x 768 but it can go up to 1680 x1050? I am wondering if there is a setting with CS4 to allow for widescreen monitors.
can you turn that pop-up message "The monitor profile "Samsung - Natural Color Pro 1.0 ICM" appears to be defective. retrun your monitor calibration software" on and off.
I may have checked the "don't show this message again" ? If so...can I re-enable the the profile warning message and how ? Or...does this pop-up only occur if there is a monitor profile issue when Photoshop starts ?
i just got a new windows 8 tablet and thought I would try photoshop to see how the pen works vs. my wacom.
i cannot get any pressure control in cs6.
I checked with samsung and the driver is up to date and the pen works in one note and ms photo but not cs6
samsumg claims to be using a wacom driver in their sPen but they supply the driver. The pen is essentially the wacom pen and my intuios pen works on the tablet the same as the samsumg.
We've just upgraded a Samsung 21" monitor to a Samsung 30" (305T).
In just TWO applications, Photoshop CS3 and Windows Photo Gallery (Vista64), all photographic images are much too dark. Not subtly, about 3-4 f-stops too dark.
EVERY other of our applications INCLUDING ADOBE BRIDGE AND FIREWORKS, and even Photoshop itself during Save to Web, displays the photos as they should appear.
I've tried setting various profiles in Windows Color Management as the default, including the ICC profile sRGB IEC61966-2.1 (which my reading says we should be using), as well as WCS profiles sRGB virtual and scRGB virtual, and tried using no profile at all. None of these changes makes any apparent difference at all to the images we're seeing.
In Photoshop, I've tried various options too. If set to Monitor Color (Monitor RGB - * wscRGB) Photoshop then displays images as it should. However the Camera Raw display when loading Nikon images is still much too dark, and the Photoshop Save to Web images are much too light. Arrrgh!
The monitor does not include any driver software, just electronic documentation (poorly edited) which offers no advice about this. I've seen references to various Gamma utilities, but not sure that's what I need. Is it?
I have taken some pictures with my camera, I cannot adjust the white balance of the camera, so the pictures come out with a slight grey background. I want to change that to a white background.
I want to edit a photo from my Gallery on my Samsung Galaxy Note 10.1, but all I get when I click on Local Images is a few pre-loaded photos that presumably came with the app. I don't know how or where to update PS either, I only bought this tablet a week ago.
I can't get Lightroom3.4.1 to read Samsung's raw files. in sRGB or adobeRGB. This is the new NX 200. But since it is supposed to support NX100, one would think NX 200 should be the same format. The samsung converter makes for a clumsy workflow.
I'm a long time user of Videostudio Pro all the way back to Media Studio Pro 6. I recently purchased VideoStudio Pro X3. I am working with HD video from a Samsung HMX-H200. The MP4 files were moved to my computer directly from the SDHC card. The format of the files is 1080i. I believe the camera records at 60 fps, but in VSP it is reported as 29.97.
The problem is as follows... I can load a clip on the timeline and play it in project mode, but if I try to play it in clip mode, the preview window goes black and stays this way until I press the stop button. Even stranger is I can scrub through the clip just fine in clip mode.
I have tried both SP2 patches. I have applied the latest Direct X updates. I have re-installed VSP. I tried this with Smart Proxy on and off. I've tried several other system wide optimizations like like cleaning the registry. No luck.
