Sep 5, 2012I have a part that we will cut out on a CNC plasma machine that will undergo a drilling operation. We create all the parts that will be cut on the plasma in the sheet metal environment because of the simple flat pattern export. Our plasma machine has the ability to scribe lines and also create center punch marks. It distinguishes between cut lines, scribe lines, and center punch marks by layer name. I need a way to get the center points of the drill locations into their own layer.

Mar 30, 2014Under 'Edit' I clicked on 'new catalogue' and named the new catalogue 'Lightroom Sanbonani'. I am not too sure what I did after this (maybe pressed the 'enter' key) but suddenly Lightroom closed down. When I re-opened Lightroom, I saw that all of my photos that were on the left hand side in date folders had disappeared, INCLUDING all of my 'Collections' and work that I had done on the photographs.
The photos are obviously all in my 'backups' folder on my harddrive, but all of the work that I had done in adjusting the photographs in Lightroom are no longer to be seen. I now have to do the adjustments all over again.
Why did I 'lose' all of my photographs inside Lightroom?

Jan 21, 2014ever since upgrading Gimp to 2.8.10 70% of all things I perform in Gimp results in an "The Application Has Requested The Runtime To Terminate It In An Unusual Way" crash!!! everything from using Gmic to just selecting a tool has resulted in this crash!!! text bug is gone but run time crash now new has entered Gimp!!! well back to 2.8.4!!!

My system is an iMac 3.06 GHz Intel Core 2 Duo w/ 4 GB 1067 MHz DDR3.Just upgraded to 10.6.3 Snow Leopard and the HD has 893GB available.

Mar 1, 2014Win 8.1 64 bit A Toshiba Satellite laptop, LR 5.3. When I try to export I get a window without export buttons at the bottom to do the export. Further if I try to resize the export window the export window disappears and LR freezes requiring to ctrl/alt/del to close it. I cannot export anything to HD or email, etc.
I was in a class last night where everyone had Macs and the buttons appeared on their versions and worked fine. Totally repeatable. I can supply screen shots.
Makes LR totally useless.

Photoshop :: Some Colors Started To Show As Black
Feb 2, 2013I am having a problem and I am not sure what's the cause but I think that it is related to gamut. I recently noticed that some colors started to show as black instead of their original color. for example if I open a new document and set it's background to #00ce57 I see it in black instead of neon green.
when changing the color mode to 32 bit I see the correct color and also when I am turning on gamut warning all the black color turns into gray.

Feb 18, 2012 why an action that was working perfectly has suddenly started screwing up, royally?It's an action I bought on a digital scrapbooking site. Never could get it to work in PSE but was delighted that it was working in PS. Today, though, it just began malfunctioning. I have my doubts as to how reliable some of these actions are from these digiscrapping people.
Could I have accidentally done something to mess it up? I haven't done anything lately except download some patterns and brushes from a very reliable source.I doubt I even have the zip files anymore. I had pretty much given up on this action working...until I bought CS5.5 and voila!

Jul 1, 2011when i start up Autodesk AutoCAD Architecture 2010 or 2011 (I tried both versions) I get the error message:acad.exe - Application error
The application could not be started correctly (0xc0150002)I searched the internet without any luck, many people have this problem with other programs, but nobody has a solution!
The funny thing is, it worked (2010) then suddenly it stopped working... I uninstalled and reinstalled 2010, didn't work, then I thought lets try the newest version, exactly the same error! Other programs work properly, also other Autodesk programs like Inventor 2008.
Windows is up to date
