I want to deselect the "Show Get Started Tab" in the Help drop down menu; I don't want the "Get Started Tab" to show in the ribbon. But, I can't; it is watermarked (greyed out) in all environments.
How can I do this in Inventor 2012?
I am having a problem and I am not sure what's the cause but I think that it is related to gamut. I recently noticed that some colors started to show as black instead of their original color. for example if I open a new document and set it's background to #00ce57 I see it in black instead of neon green.
when changing the color mode to 32 bit I see the correct color and also when I am turning on gamut warning all the black color turns into gray.

I'm trying to get started with iLogic, but I have no coding background and no VBA experience in Inventor, so I'm looking for a good site or resource that explains iLogic and gives working examples.

When I manually open the Standard.idw template, it loads fine and opens, but Inventor automatically starts online HELP. View 4 Replies View RelatedI am currently running into the problem where i will select 1 item by simply clicking on it, and when i go to select a second item, the first is then deselected. I can click and drag and select multiple items that way, but that doesn't work when the items and on different sides of the drawing and there are other lines and what not in between them.
I am also aware that i can hold shift and select the second item, and all is fine, but that is not my desired operation. I have been working with Autocad for almost a year under the notion that i can just select multiple items by clicking on them all individually and would love to have this operation reinstated, primarily for ease and convenience, which increases productivity.
when i start up Autodesk AutoCAD Architecture 2010 or 2011 (I tried both versions) I get the error message:acad.exe - Application error
The application could not be started correctly (0xc0150002)I searched the internet without any luck, many people have this problem with other programs, but nobody has a solution!
The funny thing is, it worked (2010) then suddenly it stopped working... I uninstalled and reinstalled 2010, didn't work, then I thought lets try the newest version, exactly the same error! Other programs work properly, also other Autodesk programs like Inventor 2008.

AutoCAD Architecture is up to date (SP1)
Installed the newest Graphic Driver
How do I deselect when there is an image in the background? I'm used to using shift+right click to deselect, but if there is an image in the background then all it does is select the image?
View 1 Replies View RelatedI have an issue when working in paper space in an active viewport. As a quick change i want to move a few items and im zoomed in to do so. Problem is, when i select some items, then pan with the 3rd button on the mouse to select more items, it deselcts all the items i previously just selected.
Is there a fix or something i need to change in options for this? In AutoCAD 2011 there is no problem, but my upgrade to 2013 has the issue and its such a pain, i've reverted to the old program.
When in a locked viewport on AutoCAD 2012, i select an item, Pan in the locked viewport and when i come back to the item it has been deselected

Obviously that path is NOT over 260 characters.
I am trying the ACAD 2012 demo while I wait for my licensed version disks to come in from Dell.
When I try to run one of the Getting Started videos, AutoCAD LT says:
"Flash version 9.0 or greater is required You have no flash plugin installed"
However, kb2.adobe.com says:
"Your Flash Player Version: 11.1.102.55 Your OS: Windows 7 (64-bit)"

iProperties.Value("Custom", "myvol")=volume = iProperties.Volume
But the custom iProperty is a Yes or No.Had no problem with this in Inventor 2011.
Am I missing something or has shift-drag / click for deselecting been removed from C3D 2013?
Is this a variable I can re-enable? Or is there a hotfix for this?
After reviewing many similar topics, I am still at a loss here. We are finding that the settings for using shift to deselect items seem to be changing within individual drawing files.
I open 2 drawing files. In one, the shift/deselect works fine, but in the other is does not deselect anything...
Further - within the non-working drawing file, the option to activate 2 hotpoints on a line and then stretch that line no longer works either.
Like everyone dealing with these shift/select/deselect issues, we are wasting an extreme amount of time trying to resolve issues that never seemed to be issues with past versions.
My application has suddenly started to link the hatch pattern to the area boundaries.
The objects remain on their own layers, but I am not able to delete the hatch pattern without deleting the boundaries.
I cannot edit the hatch pattern either as the application no longer recognises the hatch pattern.
Have i changed a setting unwittingly?
How do I get started using the 3D feature? I have creative suite 6 design standard.

View 4 Replies View RelatedWe are having an odd behavior in Illustrator CS4 in our office. Multiple users try to deselect objects by clicking in blank space, but the last object still appears as if it is selected onscreen. When they select another object (without holding SHIFT), it looks as if the old object AND the new object are selected...but when they delete or otherwise manipulate the newly selected object, it only affects that particular object and does not alter the old object that appeared to also be selected. Although the actual functionality is correct, it is extremely distracting and annoying because it looks like they have more objects selected than they actually do...and they can never really tell what's what!
For one user, this happens frequently when selecting objects with clipping masks. For another, it happens when simply using the selection tool on any old object. All users on Mac Leopard 10.5.5. Aside from resetting preferences which I've had one of the users do.
I have Photoshop CC on windows 8 machine with 16GB RAM and 2 GB Graphics card. The moment I starts the Photoshop, my machine freezes for 2-3 mins, disk usgae shooting to 100%. I have tried every steps to optimise my windows as well as photoshop. But the problem remains still.
