the problem begun when i reset my Cad-2010 profile. I have checked my Keyboard, My Keyboard is fine but i there is any changed has been made in option setting which is cuse of my problem.

Also how do i create like a plane which I can draw a flat sketch on which i can set an offset from my first sketch?

Why is this? Also, it only happens on one of my computers, so I figured it was a setting that I'm missing but I certainly can't find it.

View 2 Replies View RelatedWhen I select "Start Simulation" from the Add-Ins tab, nothing happens. The hourglass comes up for a split second, but nothing launches. We have Simulation 2012 Mechanical installed on the machines. I have tried with both parts & assemblies. Obviously we can launch both applications separately but it's nice to go back and forth using the quick launch.
The machines are both Windows 7 Pro (latest service packs) as well as Inventor & Simulation 2012 (Product Design Suite Premium to be exact.) Inventor has the latest service pack SP1 installed. This did work in previous versions of Inventor.
I've checked everywhere else for a solution but none apply to me it seems. My keyboard shortcut for returning to the home isometric view (F6) is not working. F3, F4, & F5 all work fine. I've tried returning the cursor focus back to the model window and that doesn't work. I also made sure the shortcut is actually listed in the Customize menu, I even reset all to default in case something was changed.

I typically press the Return button which is normally in the first tab (this example shows I created a sheet metal part)but for some reason the return button is now in the inspect Tab??I tried looking through the customize ribbon form and can't seem to put the button back into the first tab?
I have a users machine that is displaying some odd behaviour. Their Macros and VBA Editor buttons have stopped working. We have tried several things already but nothing appears to have any effect.
View 9 Replies View RelatedI haven't been able to use the 3D orbiting shortcut since yesterday. I'm using a wireless Microsoft Mouse and keyboard instead of the inbuilt mouse & keyboard on my laptop (which don't seem to be executing the command either).
Up until yesterday I never had any problems orbiting the view.
When I am browsing to open drawings for some reson the back button doesn't work with the ACA2011 file browser. The mouse button works fine with all other applications so am I correct to assume something is wrong with the ACA file browser?

But I also may have preselected objects to base the command on (otherwise it needs a pickfirst selection).
For some reason SendStringToExecute clears the current selectionset and I need to reselect an entity.
While calling the Sub directly doesn't allow the command to be repeated and ignores the DR CommandMethod call.

I have a Logitech MX 600 cordless mouse. I just updated the SetPoint software as I got a new cordless keyboard. Now, the middle button pan is erratically working. None of the settings has changed. MBUTTONPAN is set to 1. Middle button is still set to "Middle Button."
Sometimes the pan works. Most of the time it doesn't. If there are new setting on the SetPoint software I need to check or uncheck? I've even tried messing with some CUI settings under the mouse component...
I have various Button macros with the user input select in them, but in 2014 they dont seem to be working anymore.
they worked in 2013.

I extruded the leaf 1" first, then tried to copy it on a solid cylinder of a vase, but it didn't work!!! It seems to be simple, maybe not!
When I select an object and pan to make another selection the first object "deselects". The object(s) will stay selected until I pan and as soon as I start to pan the grips go away and the object(s) is deselected.
View 9 Replies View RelatedI have some custom buttons on toolbars and menus which I have created bitmaps for. Ever since I've upgraded to ACAD 2011, the image on the button will not save. I alter the .cui file and I can make the button find it. All looks great, I hit apply and I get no errors. When I close out I am back to the clouded question mark. The button works, but I can't get this to save the image. Also, any time I go into the cui editor, it moves all of my docked and locked toolbars. It gets difficult to have to keep dragging them back. It also keeps bringing up the steering wheel, even though I don't use that.
View 3 Replies View RelatedAn older gentleman at our company is very much used to having F12 as endpoint, F11 as intersection and F10 as dist. Now that I've upgraded him to 2011, his life is pretty much ruined.
No matter what I try, I can't get the temporary override buttons to work. F10 always does POLAR, F11 always does OTRACK and F12 always does DYN.
How can I kill AutoCAD's default behavior and implement what he wants done?
I am trying to write a macro for a button that when I press, it goes to a certain folder on a server. Normally when you click on the "open" button, it takes you to the last file location. I want that to be ignored an goes to a certain folder.

In other drawings that are open at the same time the X in present...Switching between drawings often brings the X back, but this is a weird bug that was not present before the 2012 release.

View 5 Replies View RelatedI'm using LR 5 Develop Module and I make a few adjustmnets and then click on the next photo and then click the "Previous" button but nothing happens. It did work the frist time I tried it and then occasionally it works, but most of the time it does nothing. Very frustrating as this is supposed to be a time-saver.the last photo I clicked on has chnages applied...then I click on next photo and click "previous."
I unistalled and reinstalled LR5 too....no change
I have a custom toolbar that I've used for years in an olderversion of CAD. Now I'm in 2012 and loaded my custom toolbar in from my previous CUI. Naturally it dropped in all question marks even though I have all paths in the support file added. I even copied all my bitmaps to autodesk's default bitmap location. Neither work.
So after that I went into the CUI and manually selected the bitmap image for "small image" and "large image". It shows in the CUI now, but no luck on the main board. (also, not that this matters, must be a glitch but it won't even show in the CUI until i manually select another bitmap and reselect my origional desired image)
So then I tried taking the whole path and copying it into the CUI manually but it goes right back to defaulting to (MYIMAGENAME.BMP) without keeping the extension. My other custom toolbars loaded with all the pictures but this one just refuses to cooperate.
Command Bars? In former times (Inventor 2010) User could define his own Command Bars.
I wrote an AddIn which defines a Command Bar containing one Button. Works fine. Now I define my own Command Bar, by Tools > Customize, and move the button from AddIn's Comman Bar to user-defined Command-Bar. Each time I restart Inventor the Button from user-defined Commandbar gets lost.
Is this an Inventor issue or is something wrong with my AddIn?
In the save as dialog box, the button for creating a new folder will automatically create a named "new folder" at the bottom of the files list. It does not come up highlighted for naming but can be right-clicked, renamed. If your files list is long you won't even see the new folder created as it does not snap to the folder either. Conversely; I can still right-click, new, folder. This acts as expected which creates folder at the top of files list, highlighted for naming.
