i have already made the pattern in 3d, but its made up of a whole bunch of different objects, what i need to do is to join them all together to make a seamless one piece. i read through the tutorials, the explain that i have to select all the objects that need joining, then click the "join" button under the modify tab. I did this but still see the seams.

So far I have found nothing that allows me to Modify Text."To Replace Existing Dimension Text With Alternate Text" it says to "Click Modify menu > Object >Text >Edit." The only Modify menu I can find is the Modify menu at the top showing 12 icons then it's drop down showing 14 more icons. There is no Object icon in that menu. how to Modify Text in LT2013.
View 9 Replies View RelatedI have two menus that I use often and I would like to add them to my mouse buttons. Attached is a picture of the two menus I like and the two buttons. The Shift + Click has the correct menu already (Osnap menu2) my problem is adding my custom menu to the CTRL + Click doesn't work. I labeled Osnap Menu 1 and 2, 1 being the custom menu I have use in the past and 2 being the default osnap menu that comes with the cui file. How to get the second button to read my menu rather than both read the same osnap 2 menu?
View 1 Replies View RelatedI have a cheap mouse and quite frequently while using the free select tool, one click will result in Gimp automatically connecting the current points to the beginning of the path. my mouse is to blame and I experience mouse issues in other programs too... mainly one click will result in double click actions.
so I was wonder how/if I can turn off the feature where double clicking would connect the path of the free select because I kinda have to refrain from using the free select tool because I don't get very far before it connects itself to the beginning.
Is there a way to create a shortcut for mouse left-click button on the keyboard?

Some are arcs, and some are straight segments. I've used PEDIT, MPEDIT, JOIN. Nothing works. They are definitely end-to-end.

I've tried calling the method directly linked to the button, but for some reason it doesn't work. I've tested several different scenarios, but it never works as expected. So, I figured the easiest, most effective way would be to activate a button as if a user had clicked it.
Is there any way to do this? My button is of course an IADMItem and I've tried stuff like SendNotify(), but it just doesn't work as expected.
Seems like there's something really simple that I've been overlooking.

I just switched over from 2005 to 2012. In 2005 I used Express Tools to change several lines of text to one mtext object. I can't find it in 2012. I didn't realize how much I used it until I lost it.

Some Photoshop tools allow you to change the cancel button into a reset button by holding down the Alt key. The purpose of this button is to reset the tool to its default values.
For 1 or 2 months I noticed that I needed to double-click on the reset button for it to work. Normally you only need a single click.
I got really got fed up with it today, so I did some research. I couldn't find any answers on the internet (including newsgroups), so I decided to close all programs that were running in the background. That solved it. I restarted the computer and started to close one program at a time to see if the problem would go away.
It was already 'bingo' after I cancelled the first suspicious program.
It has to do with the "1-Click Answers" add-on from www.answers.com.
Richt click the program in the system bar, select options/activations and change the default value "Alt + left click" to something else that doesn't conflict or just remove the whole add-on like I did.
I thought it would be useful to know in case your reset button is acting weird and you can't find any answers anywhere.
When holding down the left mouse button in the scroll bar area for just a fraction of a second too long, the scroll bar moves several positions. In the past, it wasn't this touchy. It's so touchy that it's impossible to CONSISTENTLY click once and make the scroll thingy move just one position. In previous versions, it works like a charm. Is there a way to adjust this mouse issue?
I use it on every image for cloning so that I can check one section at a time. For this reason, I've now gone back to CS5, but also because CS6 crashes on me and it sometimes gets stuck on Auto Saving files (possibly because they're big).
I use window 7 64 bit so Lightroom installer install the 64 bit version for me. Everytime I click on the import button lightroom 4 would crash. I have try to create another catalogue, same problem.

I had no problem turning other arcs into polyline...
Suddenly the Smart fix button (when rightclick on clip) is grayed out. I was using it ok previously to brighten a clip that was too dark. It was working fine.

When working in a paperspace layout I am not able to move or re-size the default viewport. Upon selecting the viewport and attempting to move it I receive the following command line message: "1 was not in the working set." The viewport appears to be fixed and non-editible. What does the message mean? Would putting the viewport in the working set make it editable, and if so, how is this done?

I know Dreamweaver had this function - not sure if it still has, but I would love for Corel to have this so I don't have to scroll through all my open files and save them! If the file is not named it can pop up the save as box as usual and leave it open till the next day.
I have to save before I go, as we have very unreliable power and the UPS systems are not reliable either.

I have a table created from a datalink using TABLE command. I want to have it use a fill color of 255 in order to mask the objects behind it. I cannot seem to modify the table style, and using fill in Excel doesn't seem to the affect Autocad table.
As you know, when I create a table from a datalink I am not allowed to choose which style.
I don't like using wipeouts to provide a background mask, because they never seem to work when plotting from paper space.
How I can apply fill to the table, or otherwise mask the pbjects behind the table?

I have inserted an XREF with annotative blocks. The blocks in the original drawing are 1:1. In the new drawing I want to plot the XREF at 1:250. How do I set the annotative scale to the blocks with out adding scales to the original drawing?

I am a AutoCAD beginner and want use it for my Master Thesis project.
I installed AutoCAD 2011 on my Laptop. It's dual boot (Windows7 32bit and Ubuntu 10.04 LTS 64Bit)
When I start AutoCAD 2011 it seems that AutoCAD modify my Master Boot Record
so the Grub Bootloader dosn't work anymore and I have to reinstall the Grub Bootloader.
I can reproduce this behaviour and it's definitly AutoCAD 2011.
When i'm using the modify commands, the objects that I'm modifying become choppy, and when I zoom in and out with the third button/wheel, the movement of the zoom isn't fluid like it normally is, also It is extremely hard to grab an osnap during this process.
