After rebooting my MacPro this morning, Photoshop CS6 started up as CS6 Extended. I do not own Extended, nor do I want it. I did not download Extended as well. How do I remove Extended and restart from standard CS6 v13.01?
View 3 RepliesI downloaded the trial version (assessment for thirty days) of Adobe Photoshop cs2. Once installed the trial version, the program works correctly, except for a basic function: to open files and modify them. Any image files (jpeg-gif-png-tiff-bmp-psd) on press command FILE>OPEN, or Ctrl+O, to open it, sends the system in crash, and without any warning message, send to "restart" the operating system, in my case , windows xp.
I use also photoshop cs, and it works correctly and allows to open file image also; but not with cs2.
What's the problem?
I rebooted my comptuer after making an illustration in photoshop (which was almost complete) and when I looked for the file to finish it there was nothing there but a 40 mb TMP file with the name ps7E. Is there any way I can get my PSD back? or is my file lost forever?

View 13 Replies View RelatedI'm on an I5 running Windows 7 64-bit using CorelDRAW X5 ver 15.2.0.686. When I reboot my system (about once a week) and start CorelDraw, it hangs if I try to open any documents or create a new document. If I reboot again, so far, it will open documents without issue. This has been occurring for the last few (2-3) weeks. I installed and have been running the program daily on this system for about 18 months without any other unexpected issues.
I haven't had any issues with this version of CorelDraw crashing under any other regular circumstances. I've been a user since Version 2 (Late '80s early '90s)
This is all on a single PC. If backburner is half way through a job (like frame 30 out of 300) and the PC reboots, it will start over at from 0. If it completes, it will make that and not restart a completed job. I have also seen is restart suspended jobs on a reboot too. This is all on Windows 7.
View 2 Replies View RelatedI have found that with windows 7 64 bit (not sure about other versions) when inventor 2012 pro is installed, it causes windows safe mode to reboot at logon screen after like 3-4 seconds. I have found the cause to be a window service that it inventor installs called "Autodesk Moldflow Inventor Tool Suite Integration 2012 Job Manager". I disable this service via "msconfig" tool and windows safe mode works ok.
View 9 Replies View RelatedCurrently I am running PhotoShop extended CS5, 64bit. in which i have my fovorite plugins (Topaz, Nik and OneOne) running perfectly.
I have upgraded to Adobe Creative Cloud and installed PhotoShop extended CS6 using Adobe Application Manager as recommended. It didn't ask me if I wanted to upgrade or do a new install for PhotoShop. So now I CS6 running with no Plug-ins. I need my plugins! LOL.
I tried pointing to additional plugins in the CS6 preference to the CS5 plugin folder. Upon Launch it gave me a whole slew of error messages saying something cant load or launch C+ runtime error or what not. It does open up, but it only gives access to Nik and Topaz. OnOne doesn't show up under filters or extensions.
So, what are my options?
Just copy the plugins from CS5 to CS6?
I dont't want to reinstall all the plugins to CS6 if I don't have to as I've auto updated them over time to current versions online, so only have installation files for my original purchases.
How do I get started using the 3D feature? I have creative suite 6 design standard.

View 5 Replies View RelatedI am having a problem and I am not sure what's the cause but I think that it is related to gamut. I recently noticed that some colors started to show as black instead of their original color. for example if I open a new document and set it's background to #00ce57 I see it in black instead of neon green.
when changing the color mode to 32 bit I see the correct color and also when I am turning on gamut warning all the black color turns into gray.

why an action that was working perfectly has suddenly started screwing up, royally?It's an action I bought on a digital scrapbooking site. Never could get it to work in PSE but was delighted that it was working in PS. Today, though, it just began malfunctioning. I have my doubts as to how reliable some of these actions are from these digiscrapping people.
Could I have accidentally done something to mess it up? I haven't done anything lately except download some patterns and brushes from a very reliable source.I doubt I even have the zip files anymore. I had pretty much given up on this action working...until I bought CS5.5 and voila!
My text input has started to overlap. Everything is in one line after the return. How can I stop this?
View 2 Replies View RelatedCS5 has suddenly started opening files with the default magnification of 0.12%. This means images appear as tiny specks of dust in a very small window and typing 'cmd-0' has no effect. Typing 'cmd-1' does enlarge the image to actual pixels but the window stays postage stamp size and has to be manually dragged larger. Typing 'cmd-0' again at this stage returns us to 0.12%.
Resetting the zoom tool or anything else I can think of has no effect.
I've used the Fill>Pattern to tile my seamless patterns tons of times and never had this issue. Suddenly , it started making each tile on the large canvas a different color when I apply Fill>Pattern. At first I thought it was a tip or guide to see the repeat edges , but it shows up in print preview too. What did I do and how do I correct it?

View 8 Replies View RelatedI saved a photo book and while I was working on it it got closed by accident. Now I cannot open it back up into the photobook program I was working on it in. I can find the "photobook" in my saved files and when I open it, it separates each page as a file so I have to open each page separately and work on them instead of having the whole book to look at and then I can flip through the pages of the photobook and decide which page to put my photo on. I have typed this into all the help systems but nothing comes up.

Is it too late? Is there anyway to change the resolution now?
Considering just copying and pasting all the layers into a new xcf.... it's mostly text boxes, will the old resolution affect this process?
when i start up Autodesk AutoCAD Architecture 2010 or 2011 (I tried both versions) I get the error message:acad.exe - Application error
The application could not be started correctly (0xc0150002)I searched the internet without any luck, many people have this problem with other programs, but nobody has a solution!
The funny thing is, it worked (2010) then suddenly it stopped working... I uninstalled and reinstalled 2010, didn't work, then I thought lets try the newest version, exactly the same error! Other programs work properly, also other Autodesk programs like Inventor 2008.

Each trading card consists of a Text Field for the title of the card and a number of icons, which are instances of various Symbols
I have written a script to create each card and i can load the variables into my javascript using: newCard.importVariables(new File(xmlPath));I now need to access the data in the datasets in order to populate the card.
To provide some context, this is an image of one of the cards with placeholder art.
