This is all on a single PC. If backburner is half way through a job (like frame 30 out of 300) and the PC reboots, it will start over at from 0. If it completes, it will make that and not restart a completed job. I have also seen is restart suspended jobs on a reboot too. This is all on Windows 7.
View 2 RepliesIf I create multiple sequences within a project, and 'reset current workspace', only the sequence tab currently selected will remain (at least, this is the case when I save and reopen the project). I tend to sync video and audio on the timeline in one sequence, and build an edited scene in another, so I lose either the synced rushes or the scene-in-progress.

I downloaded the trial version (assessment for thirty days) of Adobe Photoshop cs2. Once installed the trial version, the program works correctly, except for a basic function: to open files and modify them. Any image files (jpeg-gif-png-tiff-bmp-psd) on press command FILE>OPEN, or Ctrl+O, to open it, sends the system in crash, and without any warning message, send to "restart" the operating system, in my case , windows xp.
I use also photoshop cs, and it works correctly and allows to open file image also; but not with cs2.
What's the problem?
After rebooting my MacPro this morning, Photoshop CS6 started up as CS6 Extended. I do not own Extended, nor do I want it. I did not download Extended as well. How do I remove Extended and restart from standard CS6 v13.01?
View 3 Replies View RelatedI'm on an I5 running Windows 7 64-bit using CorelDRAW X5 ver 15.2.0.686. When I reboot my system (about once a week) and start CorelDraw, it hangs if I try to open any documents or create a new document. If I reboot again, so far, it will open documents without issue. This has been occurring for the last few (2-3) weeks. I installed and have been running the program daily on this system for about 18 months without any other unexpected issues.
I haven't had any issues with this version of CorelDraw crashing under any other regular circumstances. I've been a user since Version 2 (Late '80s early '90s)
I rebooted my comptuer after making an illustration in photoshop (which was almost complete) and when I looked for the file to finish it there was nothing there but a 40 mb TMP file with the name ps7E. Is there any way I can get my PSD back? or is my file lost forever?

I am using the trial version of vx4. All is ok until I go to the create dvd page. The burner drive has no device listed. Create to disc is shaded out. I am able to burn discs with other programs.

DVD burner is in use for another program error (or something like that)
I've never had this error in my life, and I've been using the same laptop for about 3 years, with 2 or 3 versions of VideoStudio.
Should I just uninstall 5? Or can I "restore" my computer back to two weeks ago?
The file I was working on, I also saved as a VideoStudio 4 file in case 5 doesn't work.
I didn't uninstall 4 before loading 5. I tried to uninstall 4 last night, but it didn't uninstall all the way. Maybe if I reload 4, then uninstall it?
I can't think of any programs that use the burner that I use on that machine either.
I really need to make a DVD by saturday--it's my fiancee's bridal shower. The one I tried to make last night was to test it and make sure it worked on my future sister-in-law's TV before the shower. But that didn't happen unfortunately.
Why does the wizard say the burner is busy for another application every time I click the burn icon. How do I get the thing to burn a project!

View 2 Replies View RelatedWhen trying to burn DVDs, I am getting "The burner is busy with other applications" I dont currently have any other applications using the E drive. I did use it previously to Lightscribe several discs but quit that program.
Is there something in the system tray that I need to delete as a project not completed? I do not know how to clear out this problem. Maybe something not finished from Lightscribe?
I have found that with windows 7 64 bit (not sure about other versions) when inventor 2012 pro is installed, it causes windows safe mode to reboot at logon screen after like 3-4 seconds. I have found the cause to be a window service that it inventor installs called "Autodesk Moldflow Inventor Tool Suite Integration 2012 Job Manager". I disable this service via "msconfig" tool and windows safe mode works ok.

but the display is still in the ucs z 45 (ucsfollow = 0) set the view to PLAN current (now the view is aligned) but the system vars does not change.
For a plan UCS, you would need to compare the VIEWDIR system variable and the cross product of the UCSXDIR and UCSYDIR system varaibles.

Is there a macro/script/deisel that will automatically print a pdf (cute pdf autocad lt 2007) to current plot settings in current drawing directory and give it the current drawing view name and number? Disk space not a problem these days and would save time to have a pdf copy of all drawing tabs readily stored in the directory ready for issue.

Projects do not finish burning to DVD. After I have finished editing my video I try to create disc using DVD format. Project completes video rendering but doesn¡¦t complete writing to disc. I have made sure no applications are open and the drive works fine with other software. I have included Print Screen shots of when I encounter the problem.
I have 1 Next button that is used on the timeline. Each position has a pause then a play so there is only 1 button. I need to get the label info so I know where I am so I can save the location of the timeline that the user was at if they exited before they finished the process.

View 5 Replies View RelatedI'm running PS5 on Mac OS Mountain Lion. I'm having to reset the preferences file a lot at the moment, as some of the presets are going missing from the drop down box.
This is happening in the Levels adjustment dialog box. So, when I reset the preferences file the drop down presets that come with PS5 then reappear. Does the preferences file keep getting corrupted? If so, why?
While my Photoshop CS is loading it gets stuck on "reading text global
resourse" so it takes awhile to finally open. I have also noticed that
its slowing down when processing some photos. I've previously reset my
preferences and thats taken care of the problem. Here lies my current
problem. While PS is loading I press and hold Alt-Control-Shift keys
and nothing happens. Photoshop just contines to load and it never
prompts the "delete Preference settings" box. I'm on a PC and can't

That's all very well and fine, but I'm pretty sure I remember something about a keyboard command that could be used during PS startup to reset preferences. I've looked through 3 or four pages of search results to find it, and no dice.
I have a problem with an old item I made in Max. In my newbishness I made an item that when exported (to OBJ) scales up to 10 times its original size.
Example: its 24cm in MAX
In VUE its 2.4 meters.
How do I 'reset' the scale, so that when it reads 2 meters in Max, it's 2 meters when I export it.
Obviously I made it incorectly in the first place, but dont want to remake it... There must be a way to sort this out no?

When I have an object and I scale it down to 50%, then I go to the Hierarchy tab and push the Reset: Scale button, the scale of the object reads 100%. But when I click Pivot: Reset Pivot, the scale goes back to 50%. Is there a way I can permanently normalize the scale to 100% even after I have scaled the object from it's original state?
I ask because I am exporting this geometry and the scale gets exported as 50% into my other software (Maxwell Studio) which causes issues further down the line.
I have been continuously since buying CS5/Illustrator. Our company had its logo designed by another firm, and it has been my job to use it in brochures and marketing collateral. The logo uses a two instances of a radial gradient applied to two separate elements of the logo. The gradients are off-center. However, when I place the file into a document, save, close and re-open, boom! the gradient is reset to center, throwing off the logo. This has happened when I have least expected it, and even resulted in a very expensive reprint.
I have converted the file to different formats: EPS, JPEG and PDF, but with the first, there is a loss of image quality, and with PDF, the gradient still moves out of place.
Im trying to reset illustrator Preferences with the shortcut option+command+shift but its not working, it worked with photoshop but with illustrator its not working why ?
