AutoCAD LT :: Vertical And Horizontal Lines Are Straight But Angular Ones Are Jagged?
Oct 28, 2003I am wondering if it is normal for the lines to be jagged. Vertical and horizontal lines are straight but the angular ones are jagged, Stair step looking whatever you would call it. It makes the stuff I draw look like (edited) .Especially the low angle stuff.

Sep 5, 2013I have a block of a guide sign with directions and azimuth angles. I made arrows rotatable and angles were changing ok. But when I try to rotate an arrow into zero position, dimension shows 180. I need the dimension to show 0 degree. How can I do it?
And I can’t make angular dimension show degrees greater than 180 even if I specify vertex – after rotation angle shifts on the other side. I gave up and used back azimuth.
And I can't make an attachment: "The contents of the attachment doesn't match its file type"?

Jun 27, 2012I draw a curved line and would like it to remain as a curved line even after saving the file. However everytime after saving, and opening the file again, the curve breaks into many line segments, which is not what I want! I want the curved line that I draw to remain as a curved line even after saving and opening. How do I do that? I am using autocad2010.
I use the ARC command to draw a couple of lines, they look okay here. But after I saved it, and re-open it again, what previously appeared as curved lines changed in their appearance to polyline segments.

Oct 12, 2012I've just recently caught up to 2.8 (From 2.4 something or other believe it or not ) and amongst a couple of things I have to say I don't like is the fact that previously when setting a path, if I wanted it to be either perfectly horizontal or vertical I could see by the steps in the path preview line whether it was or not.
With the new version, initially at least, that's no longer the case. As I tend to work with straight lines a lot of the time it's proving to be a bit of a pain. Is there any way to set the path preview line to show the steps again to indicate a straight line.

Jul 29, 2011When doing an angle dimension and trying to put text under the dimension line, the text types out straight which if long enough will extend over the dimension line. Other then creating text with arctext, is there no other way to get it curved? I am using AutoCAD 2010.

If I have a dimension that is 1'-3" or larger, my extension line beyond my dimension line extends the normal length, but as soon as my dimension goes under 1'-3", the extension line then gets twice as long outside of the dimension line (see attachment). I have researched...and i can't seem to find a dim variable that will let me change this. is there anything to control this happening once my dimension goes below 1'-3"?
