AutoCAD .NET :: Load WPF Executable Assembly (Exe) In 2012?

I was trying to figure out the best way of loading an external WPF executable assembly into Autocad. The scenario is simple though to explain.
The user enters a command in Autocad. The command invokes a WPF application, which loads a particular WPF Window. The command also need to pass a parameter to the WPF application when it requests the WPF Window to load. When the user is done with the Window, he closes it like any modal window that appear in Autocad. What are the possible ways to have such an interaction in AutoCAD using .Net and C# and WPF

I have been trying to interface to AutoCAD from my VS 2010 project without luck.
My environment is 64bit windows 7 environment. I installed on my computer AutoCad 2012 and ObjectARX 2012.
I created a basic hello world project where I referenced the AcCui.dll AcDbMgd.dll AcMgd.dll but I keep getting errors when running it.
An unhandled exception of type 'System.IO.FileNotFoundException' occurred in Unknown Module.
Additional information: Could not load file or assembly 'Acmgd, Version=18.2.0.0, Culture=neutral, PublicKeyToken=null' or one of its dependencies. The system cannot find the file specified.
I have tried it with "Copy Local" false (also with true), I have tried to reference the dlls from the ObjectARX directories as well as the AutoCAD installation folders without luck.

I can't get iLogic to load on my laptop. If I select Tools - Add ins then iLogic shows as load automatically but currently unloaded. If I check loaded, close the dialogue, open it again, then it has gone back to unloaded.
On my desktop, if I check unloaded then iLogic goes away, but if I select loaded it comes back. Similarly, I can turn on/off any of the add-ins such as the Design Accelerator, BIM Exchange, etc at will.
On my laptop, I can load/unload anything except iLogic, which won't load.
Both machines are Dells, running NVIDIA graphics under XP x64. Inventor Pro Product Design Suite was installed on both machines at about the same time from the same installation files. The only difference is that my laptop has Service Pack 1 installed, the desktop machine doesn't.

My work helpdesk has recently installed AutoCad 2012 and my co worker and I noticed that at the start up its loads very slowly and often when we double click on a DWG to open (without Autocad being already open) it crashes.

I use VB.net in VS2010 design some drawings in AutoCad2011, in .NET 3.5.I write a Class Library in VS2010 to draw some blocks in Autocad, and it runs OK.
Then I design a Windows Forms Application in VS2010 for some inputs, and call my program above. However, everytime I got error as below in my Class Library code.File not found exception was unhandled,
Could not load file or assembly 'acdbmgd, Version=18.1.0.0, Culture=neutral, PublicKeyToken=null' or one of its dependencies. The system cannot find the file specified.

On starting autocad, before anything else appears an error box pops up saying "Unable to load Profile file, some profile information saved in the last session may not be restored". Click to accept the message and autocad starts normally with the exception that the ribbon doesn't show -at all. The user then switches to the classic workspace and back again and the ribbon will appear as expected.
The user, I believe, has local admin rights. I've tried uninstalling and reinstalling to no avail. My next step, is a last resort, which will involve uninstalling, then using some kinda registry cleaner to erase any trace of autocad on the laptop, then reinstalling - this is a bit severe, and will require the co-operation of my own IT dept, which can be like pulling teeth. I'm wondering if there's any other, less time consuming solution to this irritating problem?

Working with inventor pro 2012, whenever I try to run a macro, the program freezes. It happens when I press the tools/macros buttonand it can take 30 sec or more before the macros dialog release and active or I can try to run windows job list which seems to release the jam too.It also happens when I try to run my macro with shortcut key or customized button. It freezes before the macro even loads. If I open the macros editor and run the macro from there (run sub) then there is no delay at all!

I want to create a silent acad process in background and do some works, it works well in AutoCAD 2012. But when I upgrade to AutoCAD 2013, it cannot works. I already had referenced accoremgd.dll. It compiles well, I get the errors "Could not load file or assembly 'accoremgd.dll' or one of its dependencies . The specified module could not be found." when I run my program. Who can tell me what dlls i lose to referenced.

I'm a school teacher in the PLTW program that uses Inventor extensively in my classroom. Our district operates under a 125 seat license. The issue I've run into is on my personal computer (Windows Vista, x64) and is therefore outside the realm of the usual IT guy's duties. The Inventor software was installed on my laptop by the PLTW training staff during my summer session. I *think* it is a stand alone install of the program.
What happens is after I launch Autodesk Inventor, I can see the splash screen, and the inventor.exe task appears in the task manager, however after a few seconds, the splash screen disappears and the program does not launch. There is no error message.
This is confusing since until quite recently I am sure that Inventor was working hunky dory. Also, all the other Autodesk programs seems to function normally (Fusion, Design and Review)
I've tried a repair and reinstall, but the problem still persists. Also, I updated the install with SP 1, but this had no effect either.
I have recently updated my display drivers (ATI Radeon), however, I tried reverting back to the older drivers and still the problem persists, so I don't think it is graphics driver related

I've just switched to autocad 2012, and when I'm opening dwg files it takes up to 2-3 minutes to open and save them. Autocad 2007 opens and saves the same files in mere seconds without problems.

At home I have 3ds Max 2013 and at my class I am currently taking, they have 3ds Max 2012. When I tried to upload my 3ds Max 2013 file using 2012 I got; "File Load Failure (*file path*).
I now understand that I can save the file as a 2012 (from the 2013 version) but is there anyway to convert the file while at the class? I will not have access to my 2013 file for a while, and this file is homework..

I'm having trouble with a tangent constraint. I have an adaptive part in an assembly and it is a revolution. I am able to constrain the top and bottom of the part so that it expands and contracts with my assembly. But, when I go to constrain the sides of my part via the tangent constraint I get an "inconsistent constraint" error.

I was working on setup up several camera animations in a file. I saved the file, and put the settings in for all 4 cameras to render. I started Batch Render running, it saved, began rendering the first frame and then Maya crashed. It was able to save a .mb version as it was closing. I have since been unable to get either file to open correctly.
If I try to directly open the files, they load 100%, the status bar immediately switches to "Writing <username>.20110503.<time>.ma" and the Crash Reporter appears before the viewport can even update and show the model.
If I try importing either file into a new document, it will load completely, and a dialog window pops up with: Could not save file"/var/folders/FL/FLo7J2o4H4OV9SDiREDU4U+++TI/-Tmp-/thompirson.20110503.1216.ma".
If you click OK, Maya crashes without the Crash Reporter opening.

Find attaced models for valve, pig and assembly.
the final goal is to deturnime the maximum size pig that will travel thru with out interfering.
I believe the path for the leading end will be different than the trailing end.

Concerning Inventor 2012...
We do a good bit of deriving parts from assemblies. We have a workflow that works well for us, we create PARTS, put them in an ASSEMBLY, then create new PARTS DERIVED from ASSEMBLY. We use Boolean to add/subtract and disregard parts as needed to create these parts. These parts are now given color and reassembled in an yet another final ASSEMBLY as needed and put into a drawing.
Through Inventor 2011 this worked well.
In Inventor 2012 the color is disapering as soon as any change is made on a source part.
1 Changing the color does not work.
2 In the derived from Assembly, opening up (in the browser) the individual .ipt's and right clicking and clicking properties and changing the color only stays until the next change to the source prt.
3 Changing EACH individual face by right click, properties and setting the FACE PROPERTIES from "as feature" to "as part" does work, but is ridiculous to change hundreds of faces on each part. (especially considering we did NOT need this step in 2011)
Is there a switch in the registry (to turn off the standard “as feature” to the parts face).

I have just installed Inventor 2012 and am experiencing a bizarre problem with placing content center parts. When I start a new assembly, and place a content center part, I would expect it to locate itself central to the assembly origin. What actually happens is that it grounds itself wherever I click on the screen. This doesn't happen with parts that I have created myself.
Is there a bug in the system or maybe an option that I have unknowingly switched off?

Having problems with parts lists not showing the correct part numbers of the parts included in the assembly. In some cases I've made a new part by renaming an existing part but when I create a parts list it shows the part no of the original existing part used to create the new part, even though the new part is the one in the assembly. Also I have just had a number of similar assemblies and needed to produce parts lists for them. I created the first one and then used 'save as' to rename the drawing including the parts list. Then when I re-opened the newly renamed drawing I assigned it to it's new assembly. However the parts list did not update to show the new part numbers included in it's new assembly.
Is all this a glitch in the system or is there something in the set-up which is causing this problem?

Since Deep exploration is a sub-part of Corel X5, I turn to here first before barking at another tree.I use trial COREL Designer X5 with DE CCE 6.3.4 supplied. I reckon, even though the DE is supplied with Corel as a plugin. Corel should be the one customers should turn to before turning to RH.
Upon loading a SLDASM file fromSolidworks in DE, I get this "Component Load Error [DST03175-Fot] : File does not exist. (Error code -28) : C:SolidWorks_ArbetskatalogDST03175-Fot.sldprt"
The CCE used to work before, i.e loading the assembly, but now... it doesn't. There is nothing online about this error, there is no support information what so ever.

I am using the RetainWallVertical subassembly with a created gutter subassembly attached to the wall and a DaylightGeneral subassembly attached to the gutter assembly. My cut slope parameter is set to hold at 1.5:1. I would like to use a target (feature line or alignment) to daylight to and have the wall height adjust accordingly. Problem, I am not able to use a target other than a surface for daylighting. I can use my existing ground surface, which I am daylighting too, but I can't adjust the target point.

We have an iLogic assembly with to parts in it. Maybe to cylindrical parts. The iLogic rules should do the following.
1. Start a Rule after open document.
2. This Rule starts a Rule in the first cylindrical component.
3. This Rule ask the user for a diameter.
4. The assembly gives this new parameter value to the second component
5. Then the assembly calls another rule in the second component to change it with the new parameter
Everything is working fine when the following combinations are taking place:
1. I open up the assembly out of vault or from a local drive or an accessible server drive
2. I insert the assembly as sub assembly in another assembly from a local drive or an accessible server drive
It don't work with the following situation:
- I insert the assembly as sub assembly in another assembly out of vault
Then the user becomes the dialog "Choose a diameter" twice.
I don't know why, but I have the idea it has something to do with the functionality of inventor to insert a component more than once. If you insert a component in an assembly Inventor gives you the opportunity to add more than one occurence after each other.
change that behaviour? Maybe a switch to change that inventor "add more than one occurence" behaviour.

I have encountered a problem with the Tube and Pipe styles.
As you can see, I have a rack assembly with a custom tube and pipe style. A wire as a tube in orange, and a tube support in white. Both have their seperate colorations at a style in the tube and pipe styles editor
When placing the rack assembly into the main assembly, it reverts to the coppor coloration I changed from the original style.
Steps I've taken:
Exported the styles .xml and Imported the styles into the master tubeandpipe.iam
Imported the user created .xml styles into the main assembly file nothing seems to work

I am trying to find the interior volume of an assembly (when am I not?!?!) by subtracting the assembly from a block that surrounds the most of it. Somewhere the assembly has a "leak" and I have been trying to use the Cross Section Analysis to track down where the inside lump is connected to the outside lump to be subtracted. Is there a less time consuming way to dynamically drag a plane across and get cross sectional views?
Even better is there a simple way to animate the analysis plane moving across the block so I can hopefully just watch and pause it when I find a leak?
