AutoCAD Map 3D :: Way To Get Old ARX Applications To Run?

I am trying to run 3DAAP 5.0 (URL....), which is an airport airspace analysis tool developed by the FAA (available without charge, not trying to undercut the MotherShip here) for Map 3D 2005. To no surprise it won't run on my Map 3D 2011. Is there a way to upload the ARX to be able to run on my current version? I would assume that the libraries and such, if an ARX application uses them, need updating. I am not a coding expert, but have muddled my way through updating VBA's in the past to get them to run on newer versions. The developer no longer supports it; it was a one-time financing by the FAA to get the ap developed, as far as I know.

I have few .arx applications for AutoCAD. In these applications few are menu based and others are command line. Now what I am trying to do is,Load the .arx app, run it and then unload it once the .arx application runs through a LISP command. .arx applications run once the user clicks on the tabs that are provided. .arx applications are written in VC++. Now I have a lisp file, which gets loaded once the user starts AutoCAD. In the lisp files I have declared these functions for various .arx applications;
(defun c:XYZ_program() (command) (command) (arxload "C:/ABC/XYZ.arx") (command "XYZ_program") (arxunload "XYZ.arx") )
It works fine for Programs which need input data from Menu based forms, but says error unloading xyz.arx for programs which need command line input. I was wondering if there were any commands in LISP that will make sure arxunload "XYZ.arx" will execute only once (command "XYZ_program") is executed.

If i open multiple AutoCAD applications in one computer, am I utilizing two network lincenses? We have a few network lincenses to share with the whole team. However, it's more efficient for me and avoid application crashes, I typically open two AutoCAD windows in two monitor (which are connecting to one computer).
Since we don't have enough network lincenses, my company suggest to open only one application per computer only.

I have loadad some lisp applications in Tools-Load applications. And when i reopen acad it doesn't show any of these lisp files loaded. What seems to be the problem

it crashes all the time. Currently, my issue is on my laptop. I have deadlines and it crashes at least 5-10 times per hour. Nearly every time I try to "save as" it will crash. This isn't specific to one file. The same crash happens when I try to open new files many times.
This also isn't just in Photoshop. It happens in In-Design, Illustrator, and Premiere as well. I'm sure if I was working on projects in the other CC programs, the same would happen. WHAT HAS CHANGED TO CAUSE THIS? There is never an error message.
What can I do to get this fixed?

The crashing started with the Retina update for Photoshop and Illustrator. At first the occasional crash happend, but now it's doing it litreally every 2 minutes! I don't think its a problem with my system since the issue started as soon as I got the Retina update and I've had no issues prior. I have the 2.3GHz Intel Core i7, 8GB 1600MHz RAM, Retina Macbook Pro with OS X version 10.8.2. I'm not sure if all of the Adobe applications are affected, but I know Photoshop, Illustrator and InDesign are.

Anything edited in photoshop appears different when viewed in another application. For example, I edit a photo in CS3, and then view it in Firefox - it is muted, the colors are drab examples of the bright hues displayed in Photoshop. If I bring anything done in photoshop into The Gimp, Polyview, or anything else I can think of, they all look identical in those other apps, they only appear different when compared against what an image looks like in Photoshop. I first noticed when uploading an image to Flickr, it looked great in Photoshop, and dramatically drab when uploaded. I then started doing some investigative work and discovered the system wide behavior. I'm a little stumped. Similarly, anything created in Gimp brought into CS3 looks different, it appears darker in CS3.

I'm trying to match the background color in Xara Photo Designer to the background color in a Filemaker Pro layout. When I bring up the color picker in Filemaker, I get a generic Windows screen with colors expressed in raw numbers, not percentages, but Photo Designer appears to use only percentages, no matter which color model I use. How do I convert Windows integers to Xara percentages?

I'm having a problem with 2.8 JPG and PNG files.
I have a Brother MFC-J835DW inkjet printer with an SD slot to read files to print. It will NOT read any JPG or PNG file created with Gimp 2.8.x. I have 2.8.10 on a Win7 desktop and 2.8.4 on a Linux machine. My Win7 laptop has 2.6.11 and those files work fine. The win7 desktop had 2.6.11 before the (up?)grade and those files were fine too. The Linux machine had 2.6.x at one time and those files also worked fine.

A client really likes a font and wants me to incorporate it into her logo. I installed the font and it's working in Pages and other programs, but not in Adobe CS6 applications (Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign). I installed a ttf and an otf version of the font but neither work. I installed & validated the font with Font Book. I've tried a lot of the fixes I've seen on these forums but nothing's worked. I've restarted my computer a few times too.

I've been using PSE 10 for a while on my OX S Mac. Processor 2.4 GHz intel core 2 duo, Memory 2 GB 1067 MHz DDR3, software 10.8.2.
It was not slow before but know it freezes up so much that it becomes nearly inoperable. I checked my memory and I have plenty of space. I shut down all the other applications. I boosted up the amount of RAM PSE can use. I decreased the amount of undo states PSE can keep. But even with all that, it still was slow. So I uninstalled it and reinstalled it, and that didn't fix the problem either.

Background: Windows 7 64bit, LR3, CS5, other 3rd party applications, Canon Camera RAW files
Is there a way to open the Camera RAW files in CS5 right from LR3?Sometimes I want to manipulate the original RAW file in CS5 without having LR3 convert it to a PSD or TIFF format first.
Drag-and-drop from LR3 to another application does not work. I have to use the export option which converts the RAW file before handing it off.
This is not convenient when I want to use LR as a slide box or sorter for other applications. This would also solve the CS5 issue if I could just drag the RAW file and drop it on the CS5 icon.

How do I import 3D models into a 3D layer in After Effects? Previously this was done by exporting the model to Photoshop Extended where you could save the file as a 3D layer PSD file and import this 3D information into AE. But with CS6 this functionality seems to have been removed from what I read in the documents. So how is it done now?

My color settings are synchronized across all CS applications. I'm trying to see document both as a soft proof and not. Neither mode improves the color differences I'm seeing on screen. Photoshop displays color TOTALLY differently from all other CS applications: Bridge, InDesign, Illustrator & Acrobat.
In the image below, Indesign is on the left. Photoshop is on the right. Image appears in Bridge, Acrobat and Illustrator just like InDesign.

I installed Photoshop CC and Illustrator CC on my laptop. I customized all my settings like keyboard shortcuts, tool panels, brushes and so on. However, now I'm trying to sync with my desktop computer and everytime it asks me if I want to keep local or remote settings, I choose, as indicated by your tutorial video, "keep remote" settings. But it not only doesn't work, as also replaces my settings in the cloud with the ones from the computer I'm trying to sync (which are the default settings.)
I also tried to find this feature for Indesign CC, but I could find.

I need to create some "generic" backgrounds to be used in other applications (InDesign, Illustrator) that can be specified to certain CMYK percentages.
In Photoshop, I create a file in RGB and using the default B&W, render clouds. Then I use various filters and create the backgrounds I want. I convert these backgrounds to CMYK.
What I need to do is make the (converted RGB) "black" backgrounds to be specific CMYK percentages. I have tried to create an adjustment layer and then using selective color, but it's not accurate at all.

When trying to burn DVDs, I am getting "The burner is busy with other applications" I dont currently have any other applications using the E drive. I did use it previously to Lightscribe several discs but quit that program.
Is there something in the system tray that I need to delete as a project not completed? I do not know how to clear out this problem. Maybe something not finished from Lightscribe?

i just subscribed to CC as a student, and i cant get photoshop or illustrator to open. the splash screen loads and goes through, and you can see illustrator and photoshop both open, but close a few seconds later with no prompts or errors. i browsed around and saw something about verdana font, but i have it installed.

I used to have an old Canon XTi. I used to use Canon's software, Digital Photo Professional, to edit the raw (CR2) and JPG files. Now I have a new camera and Lightroom 3. Everything is great, except when I try use Lightroom on the images that I had previously edited in DPP.
I have already imported all my old photos into LR3 in bulk. However, I notice that when I go to an old folder for the first time in LR3, it loads the previews in grid view sequentially. At first, they look like the edited versions I made in DPP. Perfect! This is what I want. I've spent a lot of time editing some of them in DPP and I now want to manage them and publish them from LR3. But as the images continue to load in grid view, the edits I made are replaced by the original raw images. Cropping is reverted to original, color balance, contrast, black and white, everything is reverted to a default.
Can I keep raw edits made in DPP so I have one definitive library? I can't find any import or catalog settings that seem to pertain.
I am using LR3.6 on OSX 10.5.8.

I've installed the entire CS6 Creative Suite on a new Windows 8 Machine. Launcing any of the applications other than Acrobat 10 causes a crash. Windows 8 and the Nvidia GTX670 are all up to date. Crash reports for Photshop and Illustrator are as follows:
