View 5 Replies View RelatedIs there any way to create a single line stick type font in inventor. Everything comes in as a box type which is not ideal for selecting geomety once imported into cam software for machining/engraving. The model text will be extruded/embossed, but it it possible to get single line text in a dwg or idw that will import into cam software. It would be nice to be able to import the text from a inventor dwg,idw to a different level in mastercam to save time from having to redraw all the text in the cam software.
View 5 Replies View RelatedI needed to remove a feature line that I used as a break line when creating a surface. When I removed the feature line from the definition of the surface, the grading did not change. It appears the points created by the feature line remain which is why grading didn't change. The only work around was to delete these points.
I noticed the same thing happens when I removed the surface boundary and inserted a new boundary. why these points remain and how to remove when I delete boundary and feature line from surface?
I'm out of practice with Corel since it has been several years since using it. I'm trying to create a point on top of a line without adding a point to an existing line but for the life of me I can't figure out how. I know I can create a new line and drag the points to where I want them on the line but I just simply want to create a point on top of the line.

View 7 Replies View RelatedI am trying to create a line table. Here are the steps I am following :
First I label the lines I have drawn using a line label type for example Bearing over Distance, then I am going to the Annotate tab, Add Tables, Add Line and Curve and once I get to that dialog box I select my table style that I have already created and the label style I chose to label the line and click on the "apply" box and then "ok" and I see the labels such as L1, L2, etc. and all looks good, except now when I go to use that label style Bearing over distance to label another line, it labels the line with the tags and not the bearing and distance, its like the style is now defaulted to labeling tags and not bearing and distance anymore.
I am trying to create a new linetype. It is a simple linetype, made up of a continuous chain of capsules that I've attached here. I understand that linetypes require shape files and line definition files. However, AutoCAD isn't even telling me how to create the shape file(s) I need to begin making the linetype.
The capsule is .12 units long at its widest, and will need to connect end-to-end.
I have a problem about creating feature line. When I want to create feature line between two red points, another point come into being by itself (blue point). If you look at the file I have attached, you will understand well what I want to express. I cant make any changes on this point. I cant delete, modify etc.
View 4 Replies View RelatedI am a first time Autocad user and have spent most of yesterday trying to work through this issue but am still not able to perform this. I have attached an image which on the lower part of the lines shows arcs with large radii which transition to parallel lines in the upper part of the image. Where the two meet there is an abrupt change in angle which I wish to have as a smooth transition from the gradual change in angle of the arcing lines to the parallel straight lines.

This is how the transition between the line segments should look.
I create a script file to draw 2 lines:
Line 0,1 5.0,1
Line 0,1.025 5.0,1.025
But I only got 1 line. The second line is missing. When I use command to create them, everything is fine. Also if I change to
Line 0,1 5.0,1
Line 0,5 5.0,5
Two lines show up.
quick/easier way of creating three-line diagrams? I'm working on a map of our main feeder lines and the boss wants three-phase lines done as three-lines, but there's a heck of a lot of it and it doesn't necessarily keep to the orthoganals.
View 4 Replies View RelatedI have a problem with a recently downloaded version of Inventor. When I start a new drawing all I get is a blank blue screen instead of one with a grid display. If I start a line I can see the cursor change to draw the line but a line does not appear. I don't know if it something with how I installed the program or just system settings.

I have Autocad 2007 and already have created a few custom linetypes by creating a new .line file that i edited with notepad.
My question is can i create a custom linetype intuitively by drawing myself the linetype on my autocad screen and then entering it somehow in Autocad without having to bother with linetype code.
I really need a auto lisp that do lines/polyline on line edges creating a polygon like the example.

View 1 Replies View RelatedUp to now, I have been unable to find a tool within PSPX3 to do the following:
Suppose I have loaded a .JPG file into PSPX3. Now I want to draw a smooth curve on this picture by picking a suitable set of points in the picture that will be connected smoothly with a nice curve. All I am able to perform is drawing a somehow ragged curve by (approximately) moving the cursor along the envisioned curve, but this ends up just looking awful. From my math studies, I remember something that is called a (B-)spline curve. Is there any version of PSPX... that allows (B-)spline curves? Similar/easier: simple polygons?
