AutoCAD LT :: Hiding Wire Frame When Plotting
Aug 8, 2013I have a 3D drawing that I am trying to hide the wireframe when I plot a particulat layout, one of several in the drawing. It plotted properly before, but something must have changed as I cannot plot without is comming out transparent (unhidden).
What could have changed, or how I can plot it hidden?
Lightroom :: CR2 Displays As Unrecognized For Some Images In 4.3 64Bit
Jan 12, 2013I have been consolidating all of my images into a catalog using Lightroom 4.3 64-Bit and I have run into an issue where around 300 images (of over 15k) have an issue with CR2 format. Lightroom is using Camera Raw 7.1.
I have tried opening the "trouble" images in PS CS6 and I have the same problem. All CR2 images came from the same camera, Canon 5D. It seems odd that most would work, but some wouldn't. All worked with previous LR...I think it was LR 2.
How to import these?

Feb 21, 2012I was working in CAD wire-frame and I'm drawing a small plate 230*60*15, is there any way to turn this into a solid object or add edges to it, so it appears as 1 object?
I realise you can draw a simple 2d line and extrude the edges but what i want to know is can you add surfaces to the wire frame.

Nov 11, 2012I am trying to create two objects: something called a gravity well and a wire framed globe in Photoshop 3D CS6. The examples are here:

I tried using a gradient map to create a depth map but the form is not editable if I understand PS 3D correctly. Only the scale, light, texture and perspective.
The surace of the gravity well needs to be a white wire grid pattern over black with. The globe is basically the same. Can this be accomplished on Photoshop CS6 3D or do I have to farm this out to a 3D guy.
I have included samples of my objectives: #1 and 5 plus screen shots of what I ended up with, the form of which was uneditable based on what I understand. I also don't know how I would create the wire frame once I have the form.
I deally I would use the final images as png's on a 2D suface which I would later wrap onto a 3D surface.

Apr 17, 2012what/where is the pref to change the color of wire frame of a selected object- I'm trying to use the unwrap uvw and the fragile, winsome pale blue of a seam doesn't show up against the peak white of the wireframe.
(I must say my whole experience of 3dsmax has been awful because I can almost never clearly see what I am doing, as the whole interface color scheme is horribly designed)
here's a pic - spot the seam - this is in hidden line mode as you can/cant see, the pale blue line of the seam is blown out by the wireframe.
Maya Modeling :: Mesh Partially Changing To Wire Frame
Feb 12, 2013I have been working on a head model on and off for a couple of days to practice extrusion methods, I have been working with smooth shade. When I went back to it yesterday I came across this problem - Anytime I went to extrude/bride/append/soften normals etc my model the part I was extruding would turn to wire frame and an unrelated part of the head would change to wire frame also. I am mirroring the mesh down the middle; sometimes the mirrored half is changed to wire frame also, sometimes not.
As I didn't know how to fix the issue I reverted to an earlier save I had made before the affected areas had been built up. Now I have nearly finished getting back to the same point I was at yesterday I'm coming across the same problem.

Mar 15, 2013I have two windows that are above my cut plane (far above) but still insists on displaying in plan view. This of course ruins my plan drawing so I need to fix it. I have tried several different 'Object Display' options but none have worked so far.
I don't understand - I thought default was for them not to disappear when above cut plane?

Jul 8, 2013When I bring an xref drawing (floor plan) into a plot sheet drawing the xref does not display properly. Walls at doors are not removed and have jambs and door in what appears to be 'reflected screened' view. Switching to 'reflected' view, walls not removed, jambs and doors, and windows still showing.
I may have inadvertently changed some of the settings in the display manager, is there any way to restore the defaults here without reloading the program?

Sep 5, 2013I'd like to have a view frame not linked to any aligment, simply a view frame collection.
The goal is to can create a VF for a cartography purposes or something similar. In example a 10x10 distribution schema.
A trick can be to use a "ghost "aligment , used only to served as environment to create the VF.
The main problem is the annoying link to aligment.
I suppose it is impossible to avoid this , isn`t it ?

Revit :: 2014 / 3D Views Missing On Sheets
Jun 10, 2013Whenever I try to print sheets that contain shaded (or better) 3D views, these 3D views do not appear on my prints/Pdf's/DWFx's. I've tried different PDF-drivers and hardcopy printers that are in my office, but they all don't work.
Some things that maybe can narrow the cause down:
- Printing a single 3D view to a DWFx works
- Printing a single 3D view to PDF or hardcopy printer doesn't work
- Printing a Hidden Line view on sheets works on alle printers
- 2013; printing a sheet containing 3D views works. When upgrading the same project to 2014, the same sheet fails.

Sep 12, 2011We are using ACA2010 and use the project navigator to bring constructs into views then bring the views into sheets, which has been working great, but in the last few months we have gone to a sheet only to find that the view no longer contains the constructs. I was working on a project on Friday and the Site Plan view no longer had the site xrefed into it which I fixed, now today the Site Plan is fine but the Roof Plan is empty. This is not the 1st project this has happened to but it is the 1st time it has happened to me so I know nobody changed something they should not have. Is there a known bug in 2010 or something I should check. I don't want this to happen to the Floor Plan if it does I will lose all my dimensions.
