AutoCAD 2013 :: Material Browser Will Not Open
Jun 25, 2012I used once, now it will not open. I have used the command material browser open, it does not work. I do not know if i changed a setting or what.

3ds Max :: Listing Bitmaps In 2011 Material / Map Browser?
May 18, 2011I need to list all the bitmaps in my scene.
I've brought in an fbx that was created & materials applied in Revit. The bitmaps don't display on the model in my viewports, although they do render. I need to be able to make a list of all the bitmaps that are applied to this model, so I can go track them down and save copies into a folder.
Back when I was using Max 2009, I could open my material/map browser, set it to search the scene, and list only the bitmaps, not the root materials. How can I do this in 2011?
AutoCAD Architecture :: Content Browser Does Not Open
Feb 9, 2009I just installed Autocad Architecture 2009 on a new computer. Content Browser will not open from the drop down menu or from the Start menu. I have now uninstalled Autocad Architecture 2009 and all Autodesk applications, deleting all folders and autocad registry folders then re-installed with no sucess. Everything else seems to be working fine.

Oct 4, 2011I'm not sure what happened but all of a sudden when I try to open an existing drawing it no longer pops up a box to browse, it asks me in my command bar at the bottom to type in the name of the drawing. The same thing happens when I try to "save as" a drawing... How to get this back to normal?

Jun 16, 2010It is my first time using inventor, so I am obviously not experienced with it in the least. Whenever I open any file, part, assembly, etc... the ribbon shows up fine, but the browser will not show up, and I cannot find a way to turn it on or off (if that is even a possibility).

AutoCad 3D :: Material Editor Window Will Not Open
Dec 18, 2013I'm trying to edit some material properties before rendering. But suddenly, I can no longer open up the Material Edit window. I searched and it said to look where it was last opened. Ok, I did that because I was using it this morning. But then it disappeared for good and I cannot figure out how to re-open it. I've cold booted my computer and restarted AutoCAD but the results are the same. So what am I missing. This copy is AutoCAD 2013 and it has SP1 and SP2 loaded.
UPDATE: OK...something weird happened. I finally found it but it was hidden beneath the other icons which I have anchored on the left. I was only able to get to it by carefully placing my mouse on a piece of it and dragging it out into the model space. So, what gives and how can I avoid this in the future?
AutoCAD Architecture :: Project Browser Icon Missing (2013)
Sep 18, 2013In ACA 2011 I have the project browser icon. This is easy to find and use in the 2011 quick access toolbar.
When I open the "Customize user interface" I find and select "Project Browser", then I see under the properties of the command I only see "Display" and "Advanced" nothing else is listed. This command is quite odd compared to other commands.
However, in ACA 2013 this icon is completely missing, I cannot find it in the quick access toolbar, when I search in the "Customize user interface" command list, I cannot find "Project Browser" in the search field of the command list.
How do I find the command for project browser so that I can drag it / steal it from another .cuix file?
Bonus Question: How do I stop the sheet set manager from always showing up? I use the sheets tab of the project navigator all the time.

May 23, 2012Why Inventor rename some colors/material when migrating style library from 2012 to 2013? It's very annoying (and stupid in my opinion).
And Inventor said me "Some color/materail was renamed". Yeah good information but can you said me which color was renamed?!?
Does the developpers think about Vault when changing those color? What is the impact on the file (edited out of turn by example...).
Our customers have many colors who become differents when migrating to 2013 and it's not acceptable.
AutoCAD 2013 :: Downloaded Material Library
Sep 4, 2013I have autocad 2013 and I used to have the material library downloaded and working fine. I recently installed revit 2014 and deleted all 2013 material library and downloaded the 2014 that came with Revit.
However, now autocad gives me an error saying the material library is not installed. Is there anyway to remap it so that it reads the 2014 library? I would rather not download the 2013 library if I don't have to, I use windows on a mac and my bootcamp partition is very tiny.
