When I start up my AutoCad 2013 I get the followiing message -
"Module Program Directory does not exist> May need to reinstall" What is the MPD and how does one reinstall it? The program seems to be running OK but that msg. is a bit distrubing.
The 2013 is part of the Product Design Suite Professional and is running on a Lenovo S-30/Win 7 Pro.
When I open up AutoCAD 2013 I get the following msg.

What is the MPD and how does one reinstall it? My AutoCAD 2013 is part of the Product Design Suite Professional. I did go to the Control Panel and ran the Repair function of Mechanical Desktop, Inventor and a couple of other things but that didn't fix the problem.
I am currently trying to update OS from XP to 7. In the past (XP) I was able to put my code just about any place in the Program directory. Win 7 on the other hand is giving me all kinds of write errors.

Click open icon. AutoCAD pops up the file open dialog box, in the wrong directory. I select the directory where my files are and open a file.
Then I click the open icon again. AutoCAD pops up the file open dialog box in the same wrong directory. I have to change directories every time I open a file. Yes, I have the directory I want set in the places. But that's never been how AutoCAD works.

i have aprblem with the main icons of the ribbon, i install the program and it works correctly Suddenly the user interface converts to the normal autocad i tried to restore the ACAD.CUIX and doesn't work.
i have Win8, the version i have of the program is 2014 and the problem also happen on autocad architecture.
We have many directories, each with many drawings and each drawing has either one or many custom entries in its properties (File > Drawing Utilities > Drawing Properties.) I want to remove all the custom properties and it looks like the PROPULATE command should do this...but it doesn't work on a directory. It does work nicely on the current drawing but like i said, there are many drawings in several directories.
Is there any ~working~ way to remove all custom properties from all drawings in a particular directory?
Sometimes when loading some DWGs, I get this Warning (plaese see the French JPG capture) saying that maybe I could need : Korean, Japan, Chine, etc language module !
I would like to bypass this Warning automatically because I open these DWGs with a Script to do some automatic actions and I resave them ...
At the Warning question : Do you want to open --> YES
I don't think that I can control this warning (--> Yes) through a special System Variable !?

View 1 Replies View RelatedThis issue has been an irritant for a few days and today is almost constant. When I do a quicksave the program hangs up and I get a Program Not Responding message. The panels all go white and the desktop is ghosted like there is a film across the screen and I have to wait 2-3 or more minutes for things to resolve.
View 9 Replies View RelatedEvery time I try to hatch a larger area, my AutoCAD 2013 program freezes and I need to close the program and restart it, losing anything I hadn't saved prior to the freeze. In addition, certain areas won't hatch because the program is telling me I have open boundaries which is not the case.
View 3 Replies View RelatedI'm in Autocad if I use the "open" command and go to a file directory there are several subfolders that we have to save drawings in before we make changes to them. If I copy and paste from one folder to the next while in the open dialog box it copy the file fine but the next time I try to open any drawing file the program goes unresponsive and crashes.
View 3 Replies View RelatedI have a bunch of parts drawings created in LT 98 that I am now editing in LT 14. For the most part I haven't had issues. However, I have been having a big issue with the Text function. It doesn't matter if I am trying to enter new text (Multi or Single line), or if I try to edit the existing text. Either way, the program immediately locks up & will not snap out of it.

FATAL ERROR: Unhandled Access Violation Reading 0xffffffff Exception at e9690004h.
What can I do to resolve this problem?
When ever I try to modify a hatch from a previous version I get a fatal error message and the program shuts down. I have opened the same files in 2012 and have no problem changing the hatch patterns.
View 1 Replies View RelatedRecently I have purchased the above software to be installed on a 32 bit PC. However, the USB installation that came is 64 bit and the free trial on Autodesk website, although it offers the 32 bit, is also 64 bit.
It seems that the 32 bit version does not exist. Is there a way around this? I was hoping to download the 32 bit trial version and using the serial number and product key of the 64 bit.

I have profile sheets I set up using our template. If I plot the layouts one at a time. I can see the existing grade line in the plot. If I publish all of the layouts at once. The existing profile doesn't plot.
I've checked the layer freeze setting and made sure there is a defined page setup to use in Publish. It's the same setup they plot individually with. I get the same result if I plot directly to our Toshiba printer or to PDF using the CutePDF driver.
I am looking for something a lisp or program that would do a light point by point of fixtures in a plan.

For some reason images in the library module aren’t as sharp compared to the develop module. If I’m in develop images are nice and sharp but as soon as I select the library you can see the image quality drop and image becomes less blurry!
View 4 Replies View RelatedSharpening applied in develop module is not shown when switching back to library module. It looks the problem occurs when having size to "FIT". With 1:1 there seams to be no issue. Export also looks fine in 1:1.
I use Mac 10.9.1, LR5.3, Nikon NEF 24Mbit from D600.
I hope this is a way to get support from Adobe.
I am building a surface and started looking at the triangles and found that some are going to non-existant points. I have unfrozen, checked, etc. all of my points to make sure they are not in the drawing.

I Created a profile from existing surface and created a layer called "PRO-EXISTING" and set linetype to "HIDDEN". I also set my standard style to display linetype "BYLAYER" but my dashes are not even like polylines when plinegen is "ON"

In my drawing, I inserted a raster image file. I converted it into a block so I can modify it and I scaled it like this:

I saved my drawing and I close AutoCAD, but when I open AutoCAD again the image shown on the drawing file is not the same image that I had inserted previously.

The image shown is one that I had inserted before the first one but I had erased it from the file because I had to crop it in photoshop to reinsert it again.
I used the purge command to purge the block, I used the image command and i detached the image.
But the image says "unreferenced" when I do the "image command" even though it has the right location and folder. I don't know what to do anymore.
I have a problem with exporting layers from dwg to pdf. Problem is that i can export (or print) drawing but i missing some layers in layer manager in pdf. I have drawing with 150 layers (from other co-workers) but only mine 4 layers doesn't appear. I have check in ACAD in layer prop manager if they are plottable but this is not a problem for content from those 4 layers are exported in pdf but not in layers they have to be (those layers are missing)!

edit: i found out that layers doesn't appear because contetnt on them are only blocks. for eg. block is on layer 1 but contetnt of block is on layer 2 so i see only layer 2 in pdf but not layer 1
When I try to create a new font style using the standard Autodesk Swiss fonts, I get the message "font file doesn't exist". I can see that the fonts are in the AutoCAD fonts folder and that I have a file path set to that folder.
View 3 Replies View RelatedI have a FG assembly that shows errors. The parts referenced no longer exist, but it still tells me there are errors on the sketches. Since the parts no longer exist in the assembly, or anywhere for that matter, how can I get rid of this error? I have tried making parts and naming them the same, which it allows me to do, but no luck in resolving the error. I can include the assembly but it is 63MB compressed and am running 2011.

just wondering if maybe the install got buggered. Tried a repair but same situation.
I am running LR4 ver4.3. All of a sudden I receied an error message stating cannnot switch to module. I have tried all the usual stuff before going out to the web to look for fixes. On adobe's site they recommended 6 things which I did exactly as instructed and still nothing..I am running iMac mountain lion and everything on my computer is up to date.

What's worse is when I export a JPG of the image, it exports the original! What's the point in having LR?
